Woosang looked over Terrah, inspecting for any wounds. “You seemed to have taken a punch. You must have gotten rusty on your hand to hand combat during your last mission.” She nodded in agreement. J.Hyo noticed the five unconscious boys. “Terrah, you did that on your own?” She nodded and all of the LC9 guys looked at her shocked.

                King went with Daehyun to explain what happened and to get his statement. She looked at Woosang confused. “Why are you here?” He grinned. “I asked permission to return earlier instead of the actual duration of the mission.” AO looked at him very confused. Terrah smiled. “It means that even though his mission lasted a week, when he travelled back to our time, he came back so that he was only away for a couple days instead.” AO grinned as soon as he figured it out. “So why did you want to come back Commander?” the youngest boy asked.

                Woosang grinned and wiped the bit of blood off of Terrah’s bottom lip. “It’s Terrah’s birthday. I was hoping her mission was over already.” Terrah counted the days in her head. “Oh! It is my birthday!” AO smiled. “We should go do something today then! If you weren’t an agent, you would be taken in for questioning for a few hours anyways. It’s a perfect cover!” Woosang laughed and nodded. “I like this kid! Terrah lets go get your statement and then go do something.”

                Back at the sector LC9 station, E.Den and Rasa were staring at Terrah with their jaws dropped as she explained how the fight went. They couldn’t believe that she was able to do all of that on her own with her size, but Daehyun’s story was exactly the same. No charges were pressed against Daehyun or any of his friends who were starting to wake up in the hospital with minor injuries and a couple concussions.

                Woosang was getting bored while Terrah started writing down facts about what she has learned so far and even drew a map of the inside of the compound. He wandered around the station and was confused at how they could even still function with their lack of resources. He sat down with AO who was doing some paperwork. “So AO, how well do you guys know Terrah?”

                AO kept working on his paperwork. “Actually, only Rasa and E.Den have all the contact with her. We only saw her before she went undercover, when she was here.” Woosang smiled and nodded. “I see. How would all of you like to come with for what I have planned for her birthday?” The young boy clapped his hands together. “Really!! You will let us come with you?” Woosang nodded and stood up. “Tell all of the officers that they can come. I will go see if Terrah is done.”

                Woosang went into the conference room where Terrah was explaining the layout to E.Den and Rasa was sitting at the table reading one of the many files she had written. “Hey. Terrah, I’m inviting all of the officers to come with us for your birthday. We are going to go to the place where you can never beat me.” She grinned as she looked over at E.Den and Rasa who were confused. “I don’t know. Maybe I really will beat you this time.” 

                He laughed and looked at Rasa “Do you have any officers who can take over for the ones who know Terrah?” Rasa nodded and started making phone calls. E.Den looked at Terrah. “Where are we going?” She smiled innocently. “Make sure to wear comfy clothes. Something you can move around in.” E.Den nodded, still confused. Rasa finished with phone calls. “I called in enough officers. We are ready when you are.”

                Woosang called everyone into the room and smiled. “Everyone go change into clothes that are easy for moving around, like what you would exercise in. I will take Terrah to her house to change and we will meet back here in an hour. Got it?” The boys all accepted excitedly and headed towards their homes.

                At Terrah’s house, Woosang followed her into her room as she dug through her dresser. He sat on the bed and looked around. “It’s been a while since I’ve been here.” She laughed. “You see my house through video call all the time.” He nodded as he laid on his back and stared at her searching. “What’s taking you so long?” She sighed. “I took a majority of my clothes with me to the compound. I will have to wear this.” She said as she pulled out a pair of shorts that looked like they used to be sweat pants but had cut off the legs at the knees. She also pulled out a tight gray tank top and a sports bra.

                Woosang smiled as she turned to look at him. “Living room.” He pouted as he got up and left the room.  She quickly changed and made sure to put the clothes she was wearing into a bag to bring with her. Her tank top fit her tightly and didn’t reach the top of the shorts. It only barely covered her belly button. She tied her long white hair into a tight ponytail and smiled. She decided that she really was going to beat Woosang this time.

                She put a loose zip up vest on over her top so that Woosang wouldn’t stare at her. She zipped it up as she walked out of her bedroom, into the living room. He was sitting on the floor in the spot she normally sat in. He tried to stand up but hit his knee on the table. “Why do you sit here? I can’t even fit!” She laughed. “I am like seven inches shorter than you…” He nodded and put his arm around her shoulder. “White hair suits you by the way. You ready to go?” She nodded and they left.

                Back at the station, all of the LC9 officers were waiting in their random shorts and t-shirts. E.Den and Rasa had tank tops on. AO and Jun were excited. “Where are we going?” Jun asked eagerly. Woosang grinned and leaned on Terrah, who brushed him off. “We are going to the gym.” They all looked at them disappointed. “We are going to go work out?” King groaned. Terrah laughed. “It’s not a weight room type gym. It’s a fighting gym.”

                They nodded as they all climbed into Woosangs car. Terrah sat in front. The other six boys tried to fit in the back, King ended up sitting on the floor. Jun and AO were whispering to each other about not knowing Terrah was the type to watch fights. Terrah and Woosang just kept smiling.

                Soon they arrived and they all piled out of the car. The guys from LC9 stared at the blank unmarked building. King looked at Rasa “Are you sure we aren’t kidnapped…” Rasa smacked him upside the head.

                Woosang opened the door and everyone walked inside and the guys were in awe to see a fighting ring in the middle and a bunch of equipment for different types of combat around in random places. There were things for boxing, martial arts, weight training, everything.

                Suddenly there was a man who put his face between AO and Jun’s shoulders and whispered “JYP…” AO and Jun both about jumped out of their skin. An older looking man was standing there laughing. “Can I help you boys?” He noticed Woosang and Terrah. “Oh my goodness!! Terrah! Sangsoo! It’s been so long! Almost seven months now!”

                He walked up to them and hugged them both at the same time. He smiled and looked them over. “Terrah, I love your new look. Oh? You have a cut on your lip.” She smiled and nodded. “I took down six guys today and one of them got me.” He crossed his arms. “I see, so that’s why you came here. Who are your friends?” She introduced all of the guys to the owner of the gym. “Oh! So it’s your birthday! Happy Birthday! I’m so glad that you brought your birthday party here.”

                He looked over the six boys who were new to his gym. “Since you are all new here, I will give you a trainer to show you the basics of using whatever equipment you would like to use. Brian! Come over here!” A muscular man came over and smiled happily. “You can show these boys the ropes right?” He nodded. “Hello! I’m Brian Joo and I will be your trainer for today!”

                JYP looked back at Terrah and Woosang. “You two are free to use whatever you would like.” Terrah sat down on a bench and began wrapping her hand in tape as Brian was asking the LC9 members questions and JYP was still talking to Woosang.

                “So Sangsoo, when will I be expecting a marriage invitation?” Woosang turned completely red as all of the LC9 boys looked past Brian at him. “Umm…” He suddenly had no words. JYP laughed. “I mean surely you and Terrah are getting married soon. You two have been together for years!”

                Suddenly Terrah’s foot was inches from JYP’s throat. “We stopped dating when we graduated. Time agents aren’t allowed to be married.” The boys from the police station were stunned. Brian started laughing as JYP just patted her foot. “I know, I know. Fast as ever I see. I didn’t even see you in time to flinch.” She smiled at him and laughed as she went over to the container full of padding, putting on headgear and gloves.

                The boys just stared at her, the officers in shock and Woosang and the gym people were just excited. She took off her vest and threw it to the side. Woosang went and put on padding as well while she began stretching. JYP and Brian grinned. Brian looked at the rest of the guys. “You guys are going to witness something amazing today.”

                Woosang, E.Den and Rasa kept staring at Terrah as she was stretching. JYP elbowed E.Den and Rasa. “It’s not polite to stare. You will be staring in a little bit though.” AO and Jun burst out laughing as Woosang almost put his headgear on backwards. Brian led the boys off to teach them the basics of some of the equipment. JYP went over to Woosang and pushed his shoulder. “If you get distracted, you might lose.”

                Woosang took a deep breath and began wrapping his hands as well. He began stretching as JYP went and found a seat close to the ring.

                Jun tapped Brian on the shoulder. “What’s going on?” Brian smiled “They are going to get into the ring together.” J.Hyo, King, E.Den and Rasa were shocked again. AO and Jun looked around. “Who are they fighting against? She is the only girl here.” Brain laughed. “They aren’t fighting as a team, they are fighting each other.”

                Terrah got into the ring first and started jumping around and punching the air. The boys all stopped paying attention to Brian and watched her. She leaned over the top ropes and took out piece. “Woosang! You are so slow! Hurry up and get in here so I can beat you.”

                JYP laughed. “Yeah, hurry up WOOSANG!” he teased, using the nickname Terrah used. Woosang threw a mouthpiece at his face. “That’s Sangsoo to you!!” He grabbed another mouth piece and got into the ring. “What are the rules this time?” He said as he placed the mouthpiece into his mouth.

                Terrah smiled. “Anything goes. It would be good for my cover if I get a little bruised up. I can say that I was in the hospital.” She said as she put her mouthpiece in. Everyone in the gym started sitting in the seats around the ring in the center. They both nodded at JYP and he rang the bell.

                Terrah made the first move and lunged at the much taller man, landing a punch on his side. Woosang snapped out of it and put up his guard, blocking punch after punch. She backed up and got into a guarded position as he came at her. She blocked a punch to her shoulder and another to her head. She crouched down and slid under his legs and leaped onto his back and began throwing punches at his head.

                The people watching cheered. AO and Jun were clinging to each other nervously. JYP looked proud.

                Woosang reached behind his head and grabbed her and flipped her onto the ring. He went to pin her but she rolled out of the way. Woosang turned his head towards her, smiling. She smirked back. He stood his ground and motioned for her to come closer.

                She ran at him and jumped, attempting to punch him in the face. He threw a punch and sent her flying back against the ropes. She stood up and rubbed her rib where she was hit and came at him again.  She came from down low this time and got a couple punches in on his stomach before he punched her on the side of the head, knocking her over.

                Rasa was about to get up and stop the fight but JYP stopped him. “She can handle it. She has taken much worse. She doesn’t need special treatment because she is a girl. In all honesty, only other highly trained agents can take her. That is why she spars with Woosang. I trained them well. They are better than me now.” Rasa sat back down.

                Terrah stood up as Woosang came at her again and threw punch after punch. She blocked all but two, both of which hit her on her shoulder. She ducked under his last punch and kicked him in the stomach, knocking him onto his back. She straddled his chest and kept punching at his headgear. He finally managed to get his hands up to block her. He pushed her off of his chest and punched her headgear a couple times. She got her fists up and kept blocking his punches.

                JYP rang the bell and Woosang helped Terrah stand up. They took off their headgear and inspected each other’s damage. JYP came into the ring to look at them closer. “Terrah, it looks like you will have a nasty bruise on your shoulder and your lip tore open again. Your rib might be bruised too.” She nodded as she rotated her shoulders and stretched out her arms. “Woosang, you are going to be bruised all over. It looks like her impact strength increased. The bridge of your nose tore open too.” He said as he put a bandage on it.

                Terrah leaned over the top of the ropes again and looked at her friends. “So, any of you want to spar with me next?” They all shook their heads in unison. Woosang grinned and walked over next to her. “You want to spar with me then? Rasa? E.Den?”

                Brian and JYP laughed as the entire LC9 group looked scared. They realized that time agents really are trained differently than police, even if it was at the same school, they were on different levels. Terrah laid down in the middle of the ring. “Guys, I’m hungry. Let’s go eat. Then I need to go back to the compound. Hoon, Jonghyun and the twins are probably worried about me.”

                Later at the restaurant, Terrah changed back into her clothes from earlier in the bathroom and finished eating. The restaurant brought out a cake for her birthday and as they all ate it, they started talking work again. “So how should we continue on from here? Terrah, you are in danger there if these Ren and Amber people are trying to hurt you.” She laughed at ate some cake. “I can handle myself. I will need police back there since I am going to claim that I was attacked and went to the hospital after Amber left.”

                Woosang nodded. “Rasa, E.Den and I will you. I want to ask the Jonghyun guy if he is willing to let a police officer stay with you for protection.” She laughed. “I know that is what normal police officers say, but what if he allows it?” Rasa choked on the cake he was eating. Woosang smiled. “Then of course I will stay with you.” Terrah looked like she was about to stab him with her fork. “I hope he says no…”

                On the way back to the compound, Rasa was driving with E.Den in the passenger seat. Woosang had sat in the back with Terrah, they both looked beat up now that the bruises were surfacing. Terrah’s face luckily didn’t bruise and the only mark was her torn lip. The bruise on her shoulder could be seen from the sleeve of her shirt.

                Rasa pulled up to where the door that she left with Amber was. “Are you ready?” Terrah nodded and ruffled her hair up a bit. “I look beat up enough. Let’s go.” Rasa and E.Den got out and opened the back doors for Woosang and Terrah. Woosang suddenly grabbed the sides of her face and kissed her forehead. “Be careful.” Woosang led Terrah who was pretending to be in more pain than she actually was as E.Den and Rasa walked in front and banged on the metal door.

                They kept pounding on the door for a couple minutes when it finally opened. Terrah recognized it as the guy who came to ask for batteries, Thunder. Rasa cleared his throat. “Hello. We are here to return this girl who says she lives here. Her name is Terrah.” Thunder looked around the two officers and saw Terrah looking beat up. His eyes opened wide. “What happened?!” E.Den smiled awkwardly. “We were on patrol when we saw her being beaten up next to a refrigerated truck. She was just released from the hospital. She lives here correct?” Thunder nodded. “Yeah! Hold on, I will go get her roommates!” He closed the door as he ran down the hallway.

                Woosang looked at her with a raised eyebrow. “Roommates?” She sighed. “We live in the same area, not the same room.”

                Soon the door flew open and Jonghyun, Hoon, Youngmin, Kwangmin and Thunder were all out of breath. The twins ran out and both grabbed one side of her and hugged her. “TERRAH!!! ARE YOU OK!!!” Kwangmin cried into her shoulder. “Ouch…” she said, trying to get them to let go.

                They led her away from Woosang and back towards Hoon and Jonghyun. Woosang smiled at them all. “Which one of you is in charge of her?” he asked. Jonghyun answered right away. “This is my place. I guess I am in charge of her.” Woosang looked the shorter man up and down. “We found her being attacked. It is protocol to ask if you would like police protection for her. We can leave one of our officers to stay here until she feels safe.”

                Woosang tried not to let his face change expression as Hoon gently hugged her against his chest. Jonghyun shook his head. “I think we will be fine. We will make sure someone is with her at all times. She should be safe as long as she doesn’t leave again.” The officers all nodded. Hoon led her inside and down the hallway.

                The twins looked at the police officers. “What about Amber? She was supposed to be with Terrah. She hasn’t returned yet. Do you know where she is?” E.Den smiled at the younger boys. “Terrah already put in a report of her as missing. She said that she was running back here for help the last that she saw her. We have men searching for her as we speak.” The boys all nodded. Jonghyun sighed and ruffled up his hair. “If Amber returns, I will call you and let you know.” Rasa left all of their contact info with him and they all left.

                The twins ran off after Hoon and Terrah as Jonghyun slowly walked down the hall, processing everything he just heard.
