“TAEMIN, I COMMAND YOU PRESENCE AT ONCE!!” Madam Kyu yelled from the staircase. With that, Taemin quickly jogged down the stairs to greet the angry Kyu. “Yes Madam..?” “Come with me into the sitting room, we must chat.” Taemin followed Kyu into sitting room, on guard for what was to come. “It has come to my attention that the king has demanded your presence to the ball this evening. Did you know about this?” “No madam. Why does it matter though? Did you not already say that I cannot go?” “As much as I would love for you to stay home and do your chores, the king said if you do not show up to the ball that there would be consequences.” “So I am going?” “Unfortunately, yes.” “WHAT!!!???” Key screamed as she barged threw the door, “MOTHER I DO NOT WANT HER GOING!! SHE WILL RUIN EVERYTHING!!!” Kyu instead of agreeing with her daughter, slapped her across the face. “WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT EASEDROPPING KEY?!” Kyu shouted, “No need to worry about Taemin worry about yours and sister’s spotlight.” “But mom.” Kyu grabbed Kyu and pulled her close enough to her to whisper in her ear, “I have a plan my daughter, the prince will not even lay one eye on Taemin.” Key giggled in enjoyment, wondering what her mother had planned. “Later Taemin.” Key hastily left the room as quick as she came. “Anyways, where was I?” Kyu remembering where she ended, told Taemin that he will be going to ball with them that night and she already had an outfit for him. Confused yet excited, the boy actually felt a smile on his face

However, Kyu intentions were not all that great. Down into the basement, Kyu searched through her late husband’s old trunks, looking for the perfect thing to ruin the ball for Taemin. As she reach for the last box, she found the right outfit. It was Taemin’s Father’s old black and white suit. Well wore and been chewed on by moths will make a handsome outfit on Taemin. Kyu crudely smiled and laughed in pure enjoyment of what Taemin’s face will look like when he sees this choice of clothing.

Taemin quickly finished his chores for the night, the joyfulness of his stepmother actually being nice to him made the night much more bearable. “Taemin, Please come to the sitting room at once.” Kyu said loudly from the other room. “Coming madam.” Replied Taemin as he scampered right into the sitting room.  As he entered, his eyes immediately locked on to the suit that laid before him on the table. “Nice isn’t?” Kyu responded, “This will be your outfit for tonight, Understand?” Taemin was speechless, words could not be formed inside of the boy’s mind. “If you do not like the outfit, I can just tell the king that you became very ill and could not attend tonigh-“ Kyu shocked, stopped her train of thought. Taemin, of all people, hug the woman tightly and whispered “Thank you.” Into her ear before running off to his room to fix his outfit.  The girls, always listening in, barge right into the room, upset by Taemin’s reaction. “MOTHER, I THOUGHT YOU SAID THIS WOULD WORK?!” Key hollered at Kyu. “Yeah,” Ren replied, “Now the ball is going to be ruined for us.” “GIRLS!” Kyu raised her voice, “SHE WILL BE DRESSED LIKE A MAN, NO PRINCE WILL EVER FALL INLOVE WITH A MAN.” “SO!” The girls said in unison. “If you won’t do anything about it, Key and I will.” Ren screeched before her and her sister stormed off, plotting their evil plan.
