Foreword

Sun Hee and Yong Guk have been friends ever since they were 4 when Sun Hee's family moved in across due to her mother's company constantly having her travel all over South Korea. Sun Hee's father on the other hand was a lawyer who loved his job and serving justice; a good and honest man. With both of her parents consistently gone for work, Sun Hee quickly got to know the Bang family across the street who agreed to help take her to daycare or watch along with their son Yong Guk. It didn't take long for Sun Hee and Yong Guk to become best friends and it didn't take long for Sun Hee to fall in love with music as his mother owns a music store with recording booths and even offers lessons, whereas his father is a music instructor/professor at a music university. Both grew up being taught to sing and read music, Yong Guk fell in love with composing but Sun Hee was more interested in singing ballads and she in turn learned to play the acoustic guitar.

Unfortunately Sun Hee's father passed away when she was 6 in a car accident. After that Sun Hee's mother became even more busy trying to both work enough to keep the house running and to drown herself in work as to not forget the sadness of losing her husband, and she quickly became distanced for Sun Hee.

As Sun Hee and Yong Guk were bullied and teased throughout elementary school and middle school, both always knew that no matter what happened to them at school they always had the escape of music to run to and the music store recording booths. Especially booth D, since it was the last one and at the very end of the recording hall not a lot of people used it and therefore it was pretty much always empty.

In their last year of middle school Yong Guk decided he was finally going to audition to become an idol and everything has changed now that Yong Guk has become a trainee over summer break. On the first day of high school they try to stay friends, but Yong Guk’s new friends tell him to stay away from ‘her kind’

Now only Sun Hee continues to get bullied and Yong Guk tries to protect her but the most popular girl, Mina who is also a trainee at Yong Guk’s company, has now set her sights on Yong Guk and refuses to let Sun Hee get back her friendship she once had with Yong Guk.

It’s now their senior year of High School and as new freshmen have come to the school, her bullies have slowly forgotten about her, except Mina. Mina still makes it her duty to ’teach Sun Hee a lesson’ everyday. One day Mina goes too far, embarrassing her in front of the entire school including Yong Guk, but even he doesn't do anything about it, he just sits there and watches, he even eventually joins in the laughing at her.

At how hurt she felt by Yong Guk laughing at her and betraying their years of friendship, Sun Hee realizes that for the past couple of years she’s been lying to herself, Yong Guk isn’t like a brother to her, she's in love with him and she’s not going to back down from Mina, she’s going to make Yong Guk hers.

Turns out Yong Guk’s new friend, Kim Him Chan, who is also a trainee from the same company doesn’t like Mina either. Him Chan comes to realize what Sun Hee is doing and decides to help her and he eventually enlists the help of a few other trainees from their company who don’t like Mina either.

From that point on Sun Hee, Him Chan, and the four other guys start their master plan to get Yong Guk out of Mina’s grasp. What exactly do they have up their sleeve, what are they planning to do to Mina, maybe the same things Mina did to torture Sun Hee all these years. Just remember, payback is a and karma will bite you in the . And Sun Hee is going to make sure Mina gets what’s coming to her.
