Chapter Five

AUTHOR'S POV

It's Valentine's Day, who do you think will receive love today? And who'll receive heartbreak?

They'll have a free time for the next two hours because the teachers are absent.

Hyeri, Saemi, JB and Jr. are sitting in a corner away from the others.

Jr. is showing off body waves while Saemi claps while looking at him with dreamy eyes. JB is humming to some tune while strumming randomly on his guitar. Hyeri's slowly dozing off on JB's shoulder.

"Hyeri, you lean here." He said while guiding her head softly on his lap. Guitar no longer in his arms, he caressed Hyeri's hair while humming to the same tune.

"Jaebeom-ah, sing for me." Hyeri said still with her eyes closed.

"What song should I sing?"

"Anything..."

"Okay, move a bit so that I can play my guitar." She moved and waited for him to play and sing for her.

He plucked at his guitar a familiar tune, a very familiar one to Hyeri because it's her favorite song.

"To be honest from the first time we met, saying I like you was not easy for me to do

If I don't approach you first, I was afraid of losing you. I wrote letters and prepare small gifts for you

If my love for you goes any deeper, it would only hurt me more. It’s true my mind is full of fear

I pray with all my heart, the person that I'm hoping for, I believe that person is you

"Hyeri-ah?" She opened her eyes and saw JB staring down at her.

"Hmmm?"

"Will you be my partner to prom?" He whispered but she heard him clearly
