Chapter Two

It's dismissal time already and I'm feeling nervous. I don't want to talk about Kai, not now when I'm upset, but I promised Saemi.

I waited for Saemi at the place where we usually meet, the school garden. It was near the quadrangle and I can see Kai playing basketball with his friends.

I sat on the grass near the biggest tree and just looked at him dreamily.

How I wish those eyes would look at me, those hands will hold me, those arms will embrace me. I'm a hopeless girl, a very stupid girl with a very stupid one-sided love.

"Did you wait long?" I snapped out of my trance when Saemi arrived.

"Nah..I just arrived."

"Tell me now."

I took a very deep breath and started. "Sorry for hiding my feelings from you. I know you must hate me now for lying but I can't bring myself to admit that until now, I still like him."

"It's okay Hyeri. It must be hard for you."

"Yeah..being his friend and only as a friend, it hurts a lot."

"You can cry you know."
