Like a bullet through a vein, my life went spiralling down onto an abyss, consuming the very soul that once was triumphant with glee. Four simple words yet enough to break the very essence of my being. Am I to be blame for such foolest act my heart choose to do that my brain strongly opposed? Words can't explain the tormenting pain I felt when he walked right out of the door, suitcases clasped between his fingers and not a single glance of remourse.
I got what I deserved for living the lie that should not have happened in the first place.
With the strength that was left within me, I shakily reached for my cellphone, dialling the very first person on my speed dial.
At this moment, there was no one else I could run to but him.
The sudden abrupt stop of the ringing startled me from my reverie as another barrel of tears violently cascaded from my cheeks as the baritone tremor welcomed me. The soothing voice urged me to go on, my voice coming out as a croak and a hoarse whisper.
"Y-Yifan, please...I need you..."
