I fasten up my pace as I turn to the corner. I regretted not taking the offer. I could have arrived to my apartment already.

I heard a footstep following me from behind. But almost every time I turn to check only to find no one was behind me. I’m just being paranoid.

I shove my hands in my front pocket. It was getting colder at this time at night. I shouldn’t have left my jacket back at the office.

Then there’s footsteps following me again. No way am I turning around this time. I walk faster only to hear the footsteps getting nearer and nearer. Then I started to run, the sound of the footsteps got louder and faster too. I blame my short legs because it was getting nearer and nearer and then—

“Please, don’t hurt me!” The mysterious person grabs my arms.

“It’s me. Jongin.” It’s really his voice. No, impossible.

“Please, don’t hurt me!” I repeat my words.

“Kyungsoo-ah! It’s me!” I mentally frown when I heard a different voice this time.

“It’s me, Baekhyun!” I open up my eyes. It was him all this time?

“Are you okay? You scared me there.” I nodded. 

“I thought someone was following me.” I thought it was him.
