Kris triumphantly grinned to himself as he observed Kai in the chair he was tied up in, looking almost lifeless. He approached him slowly with a wooden stake on one hand

"I've been waiting centuries for this moment." Kris' distorted voice bounced on the walls of the room. "With this, I'm one step closer to letting my people rule Exoplanet."   In an instant, the sharp-pointed weapon was held up. "Die you ruthless beast!"   But his hands stopped in mid-air when he heard a chuckle coming from Kai. "You really think that thing will kill me? How cute." He mocked without even lifting his head up.   Irritated, Kris threw the weapon down on the floor and grabbed Kai by the collar. "How dare you mock me, you disgusting freak!"   A punch then landed on Kai's cheek as he spat his blood out after the painful blow. He slowly shifted his head to glance up at Kris. "So you were a Hunter all along huh?"   "You could say that." Kris smirked at him. "I can't believe you found out just now when I've always been a step before you. Just how naïve can you be, Kim Jongin?"   *He even knows my real name? Nobody knows that except for my family.. Just who is this guy?* Kai then groaned at the burning feeling in his throat. He needed blood as soon as possible.   But who would be the prey in this situation when his body itself rejected any form of nourishment?   His body was already in such a painful state prior and now this kind of dilemma? 'You've gotta be kidding me' was his first reaction.   "You know what?" Kris spoke as he sat on a chair opposite to Kai's. "I'll let you off for now. I like a little challenge. Don't you?" He snickered evilly. "Besides, it wouldn't be fun to watch you die here. I guess I could spare a few more days."   "I trusted you! Hyeju trusted you!" Kai growled and moved frantically on the wooden chair, hoping to get free. But the ropes were a little too tight for comfort and held him down.   "Touché. But I don't ever recall for you to put your trust on me. Either way, you brought this upon yourself. And her, when she is supposedly innocent."   Kris's words shot a bullet to Kai's body. He felt even more guilty about dragging Hyeju down this much because of him.   "I've an idea." Kris sat up and walked around the room and around Kai. "A Hunter's blood.. You do know it's results, right?" He asks as he picks up a small knife from a glass table, walking around as he waved the sharp blade in mid-air. "If it is made into weapons, then it would be deadly for you."   "Oh, you don't say?" Kai scoffed sarcastically. "After that thing you gave Hyeju? You bastard!"   "Oh, and I may visit her again sometime soon." Kris chuckled. "That is, after I'm through with you."   Just the thought of him around Hyeju made his blood boil in anger. I mean, they've been too blind to see that their friend, a rival to him, was actually a cold-blooded vampire slayer.    No wonder Kai had his doubts on him, even during their first meeting. But he swore he'd never let anything, lest anyone, hurt his beloved girl.   "Don't you go near her, you motherer!" Kai growled ferociously, his eyes glowing.    In turn, Kris raised an eyebrow. "Feisty. I like your attitude. But enough of that. The reason I brought you here and that certain weapon I gave to Hyeju.." He stared Kai straight in the eye. "You do know, right?"   Kai hissed. *This guy really knows how to get into my nerves!*   Kris pressed the knife against his own wrist and made a small cut. Kai's eyes widened at the sight. He knew exactly what Kris was trying to make him do.    Precisely.   "No way. I will never drink your blood. Not in a million years." Kai said firmly but it seemed his animalistic wild side was protesting.   Kris held up his bleeding wrist above Kai's tied one. When just one drop of blood came in contact with Kai's skin, it was scorching.   He was the real deal. He really was a Hunter.   "You know you want to drink it." Kris convinced. "Just think about it. My blood is your cure. The poison in your body would slowly diminish. Don't tell me you want to die like this instead?"   "No, I don't want your filthy blood!" He growled even louder. "I'd rather die!"   Kris leaned forward and spoke in his ear. "Oh, but think of all the powers you'd be able to obtain."   He was this close yet Kai couldn't beat the heck out of him. Oh, how frustrated the vampire was.   He tried all he could to turn away from his desires but with the condition he's in now, it was impossible.
