The woman was most probably in her late 20's. And there she was, pinned against the cold wall on the alley. Kai didn't know her name but he didn't care. He needed to quench his thirst badly.

She moaned his name as his lips came in contact with her neck. A few touches here and there were enough to turn her on and the rushing blood made Kai's taste buds tingle and his fangs protrude. Luckily, it was dark so she had no idea that he had those sharp canines.   Yup, he gained his fangs back that soon.   She moaned yet again as she felt an odd yet pleasurable sensation in the crook of her neck. Probably thinking it was a hickey, she let him continue as she clenched his clothes.   Type O wasn't his favorite but now, it'll have to suffice. After all, he couldn't find an AB negative girl except for Hyeju and he restrained himself from ever touching her, though he didn't know why.   If it was some other girl, he'd jump her without any second thoughts. But Hyeju wasn't like those girls he played with before.   She was actually a friend and that thought alone became precious to him, thus he tries his best not to break that bond.   "Ah.. Kai.." She sighed as he pulled away. Though their school didn't get the grand prize, their were in third place, good enough for the first contest they participated in.   But as the days flew by, Hyeju noticed Kai was acting stranger than usual and that he grew distant. She couldn't help but think it all began since that little incident.   He grew paler by the day and even had tremors and cold sweats. She even noticed faint scratch marks on his neck but every time she'd ask him if anything was wrong, he'd turn away from the question.   At some nights, she would wake up in the middle of the night and smell the faint trace of blood as Kai walked past her bed.   So one night, she decided to research a bit more about vampires.   Hyeju went to a store she'd always pass by to and from school. It was an antique store, ranging from old vases and decors to books. It was pretty quiet since no one really visited that place. She hoped that she'd find at least something there since the library wasn't really of any help.   The store owner, which was an old man, welcomed her gladly and asked if he could be of help.   "Ah, ye, do you perhaps have book on vampires ahjussi?"
