✾ Detention
Longing For Your Love
School ends all too quickly.
...thank goodness that Jiyoung doesn't know about my detention, otherwise she would make sure the whole school knew.
I hurriedly stuff books into my backpack and slam my locker shut. However, those girls who follow me everywhere and every day are already here. They grin at me with their sparkling white teeth, though not as sparkling as mine, and ask if they can walk home with me. I scan over their faces, full of anticipation, knowing that they want to visit my house, but I shake my head, feigning innocence.
"Sorry, I have to go somewhere today. Maybe tomorrow?" They shrug too, trying to hide their disappointment as they scurry away.
I'm disappointed too.
Jiyoung.
Detention.
Lim Ji Min.
They all stink.
I arrive at the classroom where the afterschool detention always is. I spot a tall guy in the corner, staring out the window with a vacuous expression in his eyes, and another guy two seats in front of him with his face on the desk, sleeping.
I sigh.
This stinks.
I dump my bag onto a seat in the middle of the room and pull out a book to read.
The teacher arrives a bit later, and hastily does attendance.
"Goo Hara?"
"Present," I say, without looking up from my book.
"Kim Woo Bin."
"...here..."
"And—ah, our regular, Junhyung."
I look up at the teacher.
What?
Junhyung? Yong Junhyung?
He's not at soccer practice?
