I don't want to be an idolHER
She picked up her phone and dialed in a number..a number that she hasn't dialed for years. She took a deep breath and pressed the 'call' button. With every pending tone, she was thinking of what she would say when she finally get through to him.
Finally the tone stopped.
"Hello?"
the other party said. Her heart stopped for a moment there. She wanted to breakdown no- cry, with her feelings bottled up in , she only managed a squeak out of it.
"Hello?? Anyone there?"
the other party was getting impatient. Finally, she gathered all her courage and replied
"H-hi oppa"
was all that she could say.
"You are? not another saseang fan of mine again eh?"
she was devastated, how could he forget her voice, even though they've been together for 10 over years?
"I-its me, Heeyoon"
she managed a stutter. The other side went quiet. After what it seemed like an eternity of silence, he finally said
"Oh Heeyoon ah, its you. I'm sorry I lost all my phone contacts because I've lost my phone before..."
"Its okay"
she said while mentally shaking her head at his carelessness.
"So how are you oppa, doing fine?"
"Yeah how about you?"
how about me? Yeah I guess you have no single idea how hard is it for me to be coping alone, without you around me, she thought.
"I'm fine, thank you. "
"I see..."
then silence took over once again. Breaking the silence she asked,
"Oppa I was wondering if you're free-"
"Ah sorry Heeyoon I gotta go, manager's calling. Chat later bye!"
with that, he hung up. She was lost for words.. after years of not talking...he hung up on her, just like that.
Trying to keep the tears back, she opened the message application and decided to leave him a text as this would be the only way to tell him what she wanted to say.
"Oppa, I just want to know if you're free on the 19, we need to talk. -Love, Heeyoon"
With that, she locked the screen of her phone and lay down on bed, thinking of the possible replies that he may give and him.
