Dear nobody,

                They told me to write to you so I can try to remember who I am.  

                I am Kim Taehyung.

                They tell me that I am the luckiest man on earth; nobody could’ve survived a crash like that. My life is precious. I want to believe all their words but how can I when all I remember is my own name?

                Right after that happened I was brought here. My life depended on a machine that helped my heart beat. I was unable to see, hear, smell, touch or feel. I was unable to do anything but lie on my bed and pray for something to happen. I needed something to tell me I was not just an empty shell with a beating heart. It took me three weeks to remember how to sit, another two to remember how to walk, one to remember my speech and days until I could care for myself. They tell me that I am the smartest man on earth; nobody could’ve remembered things as quickly as I did.

                How do I know what they say aren’t just plain words?
