Just Remember
Description
A lover you can tell anything to.
Anything, starting from whining about an episode of a show one missed yesterday to crying his eyes out on the other's shoulder because his mother just passed away.
A friend that never leaves you despite how crazy you both are.
Throwing snowballs at each other when running across the street, ignoring angry drivers because the world revolves only around the two of them. They have their world and they are happy in it.
A person that cares.
When one gets injured or sick, the other does his best to make the latter feel better. He does his best to keep him from making wrong decisions. Because why? Because he cares.
A story about two lovestruck fools who were meant to be together but fated to be separated.
Foreword
He dashed to the bathroom to take a quick shower and brush his teeth in the speed of light. He even skipped his breakfast knowing he's running late. The day did not have certainly a good start for him even without the fact he got all clumsy when he was rushed to do things, which occured quite often with his lively personality. As a victim for his alarm's protests that morning fell one glass, a vase and the floor in the bathroom which got toothpaste spread all over it. Thanks to an accident of course. But despite everything, he was happy.
Without knowing about it, he smiled.
Roses are red, violets are blue,
sugar is sweet and perhaps so are you.
He walked under the dark sky, letting the rain embrace his cold body. He walked without knowing where are his legs taking him. Just like a kitten who got kicked out, abandoned by its own mother and siblings, he did not know where to go or what to do, because as it seemed, nothing mattered anymore. Everything got shattered within a second because of a little piece of paper and the words written on it. Everything got shattered and his cheeks became damp.
Without knowing about it, he cried.
A bond that we formed, a love that ran deep.
A pain that we shared, a friend I could keep.
He looked around his apartment for the last time before closing the door for good. He walked, having his fists clenched, his teeth gritted. He didn't want to cry. Because he wasn't supposed to. He shouldn't cry anymore. More than enough tears were shed and there were still people the tears were supposed to be kept for. In one of his clenched fists a crumpled piece of paper was hidden and he knew he was going to keep it even if the world was about to end. He walked towards new day whilst the words said to him before played in his mind like a broken tape. And he knew...
Without knowing about anything else, he knew he'll never forget.
Tears on my face, memories burned in my head.
The roses have wilted, the violets are dead.
