It was already settled that both families will have to meet tonight to discuss the wedding.

Jaehyun was lying on her bed while listening to some sad song as the scene earlier kept replaying in her mind.

'Stupid Kikwang! Stupid Hyuna!' she mentally cursed the couple. Knowing that Kikwang's family might arrive any minute she decided to freshen up. She looked at hersef in the mirror and promised to put on a very convincing act tonight.

"Kim Jaehyun, you're a mature lady. You will not let shorty get the best of you" as she was combing her hair there came a knock from the door. 

"Jaehyun ah, The Lee's are here." with one last look Jaehyun let out a smile, as if trying to calm herself of what was about to come.

"Aigoo~ Jaehyun ah! You're all grown up now! you've become a pretty young lady as well" cooed Kikwang's mom as she saw Jaehyun emerge from the staricase

"Well of course, she inherited it from me." said Jaehyun's mom as the two women giggled with excitement

"Thank you Auntie" Jaehyun replied politely but was instantly pulled into a hug by Kikwang's mom "Ani, don't call me auntie anymore... you'll be my daugther in law soon" those words left a deep impact on Jaehyun. Since, she didn't know how to respond she decided to smile as to acknowledge the gesture.

Kikwang was no where in sight, probably still in school. Jaehyun was setting the table when a knock was heard from the door.

It was Kikwang and it looks like he brought Hyuna along.

Jaehyun was peeking from the corner when Kikwang introduced Hyuna towards his parents.

"This is my girlfriend,Hyuna" Hyuna gave a polite bow

'Who knew she had manners?" muttered Jaehyun as she observed the scene in front of her

Kikwang tried to plead to his parents that he can't be engaged with Jaehyun.

"I can't take it back, son. I'm sorry" his dad let out a poker faced expression. Jaehyun couldn't tell if he was angry or sad. On the other hand, Kikwang's mom was about trying her best to coax Hyuna to stop crying. 

'She would make a good actress' Jaehyun was now convinced that Hyuna is one great actress. One minute she was all fierce then the next one she would be all sweet. It was like one of those sitcoms Jaehyun watched. The boy would try to fight for his love but, the parents wouldn't allow. 

'Should I be hurt that Kikwang doesn't like to marry me?' she was lost in her own world when Kikwang's mom suddenly called her.

"Jaehyun ah, can you come here for a minute?" Jaehyun made her way towards them. "What's your say in this?" she asked seriously

"Pardon?" Jaehyun was caught off guard. "Do you still want to marry Kikwang?" Jaehyun was looking at Kikwang then at Hyuna.

She pondered that this could be the revenge she's been itching to do. To finally defeat Hyuna once and for all but, that won't mean Kikwang would be alright with it. Kikwang was now looking straightly at her as if pleading that she would say no.

'I have to fight too. I don't want to give up on him anymore... I'm sorry Kwangie'

"So dear, what's your decision?" asked Kikwang's mom as she placed her hand on Jaehyun's shoulders

"Yes, I-I'd still want to marry Kikwang" she let out a small smile

Kikwang's mom let out a sigh of relief. "Then its settled, the wedding will be in two months" Hyuna looked like she ate a lot of jalapeno pepper as her expression was unreadable

'Score 1 for me' Jaehyun let out a triumphant smirk which caused Hyuna to go berserk. She instantly left which made Jaehyun smile but, that smile was cut short when Kikwang went towards her

"You think this is funny? Fine, I'll marry you but don't expect any affection from me. I used to like you but that was long gone, don't try to patch things up because you'll only get hurt in the end." with that he followed Hyuna leaving Jaehyun standing on the doorway.

"I won't lose you now, I promise."
