After a day full of heart ache and torture, Jaehyun laid on her bed with a thud.

She then looked on her bedside table to see a young Kikwang showing his gummy smile.

The picture was taken during her 8^th birthday at an amusement park. She then took the photo and hugged it tightly.

‘Why did we end up like this?’    Jae then closed her eyes as she remembered the day that the picture was taken.

*FLASHBACK*

Kikwang and Jaehyun were walking around the amusement park when Jaehyun spotted a penguin plushie..

“Wahhh! I want that one!” Jaehyun happily ran towards the toss-a-ring booth

“You sure! I can get it for you…” said Kikwang with a know it all smile

“You?… don’t make me laugh. You’re so short, you can’t even reach the rings?” said Jaehyun with a cheeky smile which fueled Kikwang even more

“Yah! No one calls me short! Show some respect… I’m older than you” Kikwang always uses this technique

“By a couple of months..” that’s it. Kikwang had the last draw, he really hates losing. Before you know it, he was holding a pair of lollipops.

“See I told you… you’re too short for this.” Said Jaehyun as she placed an arm around Kikwang

“Once we’re old enough… I’m gonna get that penguin if it’s the last thing I do” he said with an annoyed face which made Jaehyun smile.

“Oppa, thanks for the lollipop.” She then kissed his cheeks to show how much she appreciated his effort

Unknowingly, both of their parents where looking at them from afar.

“Aigoo, they look so adorable together” cooed Kikwang’s mom

“ I know… I wonder if they’ll end up together when they grow up?” said Jaehyun’s mother with a sigh

“You mean like dating?” asked Kikwang’s mother excitedly

“Yeah! And then they’d get married and we’ll officially be in laws

Both of the ladies squealed at the idea while their husbands just laughed at their wife’s crazy imagination

“There, I called you oppa… happy?” asked Jaehyun as she unwrap the lollipop

“N-nehh..” Kikwang could only blush from their close interaction

“Yah, are you alright… you’re face is red” Jaehyun then placed her hand onto his forehead

“I’m fine” Kikwang then swatted her and away.

“Oh kids… its time to say goodbye” but before parting their parents insisted on taking a picture

“See you soon, Jaehyun” Kikwang then hugged her tightly which made Jaehyun blush

“Omma, when I grow up… I wanna marry Jaehyun” said Kikwang to his parents. This made Jaehyun blush even more and it didn’t help the fact that her parents were enjoying it.

“Jaehyun ah! Dinner is ready…” yelled Jaehyun’s mother from the kitchen

“I’m coming!” Jae then placed the picture frame back to the bedside before heading downstairs.
