I'M BACK! ^.^

Sorry if it took a while... I was kinda lazy busy this summer :D

and I had writer's block T.T

Jae had to wake up early and its all thanks to Kikwang

‘Yah! Jaehyun, where’s the mp3 files? I thought you sent them in last night?’

‘I already sent them twice! Are you sure you sent me the right email address?’ Jae was now running as fast as she could just so Kikwang would stop yelling

‘Where are you? I thought I told you to be at school by 8:00 am and it’s already 8:05’

‘I have some errands to finish you know… I’m on my way’ and with that Jae shut her phone then chunked it in her bag

“Stupid Shorty! I’m gonna make you pay for ruining my beauty sleep”

Meanwhile, Kikwang was scanning his mail, Hyunah approached him

“Oppa! I have something to confess…” said Hyunah in a sweet tone

“What is it?” Kikwang instantly stopped what he was doing to face Hyunah

“I kinda deleted some of your mails last night…” said Hyuna in a whisper but was clearly heard by Kikwang

“What?! Why would you do that? You know that I need those files so we could practice for our routine” yelled Kikwang who was completely annoyed with his girlfriend

“B-but I didn’t mean too…” Hyunah was on the ‘verge’ of tears

“I-I’m s-sorry.. it’s j-just that.. I saw Jaehyun’s n-name…” she was about to walk out when Kikwang instantly pulled her in a hug

“Don’t worry… I’m not mad at you..I just got carried away” he said in a hushed tone which made Hyuna smirk

‘ I totally have him wrapped around my fingers’

“That jerk! I’m going to skin him alive when I get there…” said Jae as she made her way inside the school's dance studio, something caught her eye.

It was Kikwang and Hyuna sharing somewhat a heart felt kiss

“Can’t they get a room…” Jae whispered as she took a peek through the semi closed door

“You know… peeping is a very bad thing to do”

“YAHH!!” the couple inside the room were startled by Jaehyun’s scream

“Yang Yoseob! Stop accusing me of such things.. I just needed to catch my breath, okay?” said Jaehyun as she walked inside the room as if nothing happened

“Whatever you say...” Yoseob had smirk on his face as he followed Jaehyun inside the studio

“Yah! Yang Yoseob, where were you? I was calling you five minutes ago…” scolded Kikwang but Yoseob seemed to care less

“I was busy eating ice cream” he said with a smile as plopped himself on a bean bag chair beside the mirrors

“Oppa, I still have to finish something.. I’ll see you around” Hyunah gave a final kiss to Kikwang before leaving the room

“Lee Kikwang! This the last time I’m doing your freaking songs! I have a life you know…” Jaehyun pushed the cds into Kikwang’s hand

“Whatever…” he replied in an emotionless tone as he placed the cd onto the cd player

“Yeah, and a simple thanks wouldn’t hurt.. jerk!” Jae ran out of the room leaving a stoic faced Kikwang and shocked Yoseob

“You know, you should treat Jaehyun more nicely…” said Yoseob as he prepared himself for their practice

“Why should I? She’s just a cold hearted and pretentious person…” he then did some stretching with an annoyed look on his face

“You know for a guy, you sure could hold a grudge that long….” Said Yoseob as he patted Kikwang on the shoulder

Kikwang and Jaehyun were close friends up till middle school

“Lee Kikwang, hand me that bag right now!” yelled Jaehyun as she tried to recover her school bag from the mischievous Kikwang

“Not until you say yes…” he replied with an adorable smirk

“No way! I don’t want to wear anything girly…” she replied in an annoyed tone

“I don’t care what you wear… as long as you say yes!” he then grabbed her by the arm and looked straight into her eyes

“Hey… this is too close!” she tried pushing him off but he held her real tight

“Just for tonight… be my date” he said with a smile that made Jaehyun blush 10 shades of red

“Fine… just give me back my bag and we’re even” she said but was caught off guard when Kikwang suddenly kissed her on the cheek

“See you later, gorgeous!” he yelled as he ran towards the opposite direction leaving a baffled Jaehyun whose smile began to grew wide

Kikwang went to Jaehyun’s house only to be greeted by her parents

“Kikwang, come in! Jae’s almost done… you should wait at the living room” said Jaehyun’s mom as she escorted the boy towards the living room

“How’s your parents doing?”

“They’re fine,  dad’s going on a business trip along with mom next week and they’re planning to ask if…”

“You can stay over” said Jaehyun’s mom

“Really?” asked a happy Kikwang

“Sure… you’re practically family to us.” Said Jaehyun’s dad as he patted the boy on his shoulder

“Hey, you guys aren’t telling him embarrassing stories right?” asked Jaehyun as she walked down the stairs

“I know almost all of your embarrassing stories… no need to hide any of them” Kikwang was about to annoy her some more but, was taken aback by Jaehyun’s beauty

“What? cat got your tongue?” tease Jaehyun as she walked towards Kikwang

“Not really… It’s just that you look more human with all those make up” teased Kikwang but was slapped on the arm by Jaehyun

“Meanie” she muttered as she pushed Kikwang to the side.

“Mom, Dad we’ll go ahead…” Jaehyun hugged her parents tightly before leaving

Since their school was only a couple of blocks away they decided to walk

“Eyy~ are you still mad at me?” asked Kikwang as he placed an arm around Jaehyun’s shoulder

“Hurry up or we’ll be late” Jaehyun ignored Kiwkang’s question as she continued to walk straight ahead

“I’m sorry… I was only kidding” Kikwang then stood in front of her

“Move!” ordered Jaehyun as she put her hands on her hips

Seeing Jaehyun’s annoyed face made Kikwang chuckle as he pulled the girl closer to him

“Yah! What are you doing?!” Jaehyun tried to break free from Kikwang’s hug but his grip on her tightened even more

“Not until you forgive me…” said Kikwang as he caressed Jaehyun’s hair

“Hey, we’re gonna be late…” said Jaehyun as she tried to hide the fact that she’s actually blushing

“I’m really sorry… Please smile, for me?” pleaded Kikwang as he pinched Jaehyun’s cheek

“There, happy?” she asked before breaking free from Kikwang’s hug

“Very…now let’s get going” he then took her hand and entwined it with his

“LEE KIKWANG! ARE YOU COMING OR NOT?!” Kikwang’s thoughts we’re interrupted when Yosoeb’s voice began to echo inside the room

“COMING!” he then shook his head as he stared at the cd that Jaehyun handed him

Meanwhile, Jaehyun was sitting inside the classroom as she stared outside the window

‘Do you really hate me that much?’

The party already started when Kikwang and Jaehyun arrived

“This is all your fault, shorty!” said Jaehyun as she lightly slapped Kikwang’s arm

“At least I got to hold your hand…” he replied with a cheeky grin which made Jaehyun blush

“I need to use the bathroom” she then left Kikwang who was chuckling at her sudden urge

“Have you seen Kikwang? He looks so hot!”

“I know but, I think he’s taken…”

“As far as I know, he’s single”

Jaehyun was inside the cubicle when she heard the girls talk about Kikwang

“I’m going to confess tonight…” exclaimed a girl with eagerness

“Good Luck with that… but what if he rejects you?”

“That’s easy… he’ll be kicked out of the team”

“Works for me…” after their conversation they finally left the rest room

“This is going to be a long night…” exclaimed Jaehyun as she looked at her reflection in the mirror

Jaehyun spotted the girls from earlier hovering around Kiwkang and his friends

“So I was right.. it was Hyeri” muttered Jaehyun since Hyeri’s voice is kinda high pitched and annoying it’s not that hard to miss her

“OPPA~” she wailed as she tried to pull Kikwang towards the dance floor

“I’m sorry Hyeri… maybe you can ask Yoseob instead” said Kikwang as she pulled off his arm from her grip

“No way..” she exclaimed but then an idea popped in her mind as she saw Jaehyun approaching them

“Oppa~ give me a kiss” before Kikwang could react she kissed him without his consent

Jaehyun was rooted on the spot as she witnessed Hyeri and Kikwang’s kiss

“What is wrong with you?!” asked Kikwang as he pulled away from Hyeri

“Thanks for the kiss oppa” she then winked at him and left

“Dude, I think Jaehyun saw that…”  whispered Yoseob towards Kikwang who instantly looked around for Jaehyun presence

“ Thanks man…” he then felt his heart beat louder as he searched for Jaehyun

After a few minutes of searching he finally spotted her at a nearby bench

“Hey… I’ve been looking all over for you..” said Kikwang as he sat beside her

“You’re totally drenched in sweat” exclaimed Jaehyun as she wiped Kikwang’s sweaty forehead

“Uhmmm.. about earlier” before Kikwang could continue Jaehyun hugged him

“It’s okay… I’m allowing you to date her” she said with a forced smile

“WHAT?!” asked a confused Kikwang as he broke away from the hug

“Hyeri? That was a misunderstanding.. I don’t like Hyeri” he exclaimed as he tried to defend himself

“Weren’t you talking about her the other day? You said you were planning on asking out this girl in our class…”

“What I meant was you…” said Kikwang which caught Jaehyun off guard

“What? Me? W-Why?” asked Jaehyun with mixed emotions

“I’m just fulfilling my promise… I like you a lot Jaehyun” he said as he suddenly closed in onher to give her a kiss

“NO! this is wrong… you should date Hyeri!” she exclaimed as she pushed Kikwang away

“Why? Give me one good reason?” exclaimed an enraged Kikwang

“Because she loves you…” muttered Jaehyun as she tried to stop her tears from falling

“What about you? Don’t you love me?” asked a heart broken Kikwang

“No… go find someone else who would return your feelings. I only see you as a brother and nothing more…” said Jaehyun as she turned away from Kikwang so that he wouldn’t see her crying

“Fine! If that’s what you want…. “ said Kikwang whose eyes is now wet from crying but, before he left he gave a ring to Jaehyun

“This will remind you of the time you broke my heart… keep it since I have no use for this anymore” and with that he left Jaehyun behind

“I’m sorry Kikwang… I don’t want all of your efforts for the team be put to waste… I don’t like you… I love you.” Jaehyun took the ring and left

“Don’t you have any other things to do besides day dream about Kikwang?” asked Key as he messed up his friend’s hair

“What makes you say I day dream about shorty?” asked an annoyed Jaehyun as she fixed hair

“Woah! You called him shorty? Do I sense a change of heart?” asked a gleeful Key

“Whatever! Hey, aren’t you suppose to be practicing right now?” asked Jaehyun as she prepared her stuff for that day’s presentation

“I still have 30 mins… and stop changing the subject” said Key but his words got cut off when Jaehyun stood up

“But I don’t. I still have to practice for our routine… you better watch, okay?” said Jaehyun as she gave a quick hug towards Key

That afternoon, the gymnasium was filled with students and teachers alike.

It was that time of the year where the upperclassmen showcase their talent based on the clubs they chose during their freshmen year.

And every year, the dance club a.k.a DC was always the last one to perform

Led by Kikwang as President and Hyuna as VP but, since Hyuna can’t handle too much pressure everything is passed down to the Secretary which is Jaehyun.

“And for the last set performers, here is the DC team” after the emcee announced the performers the crowd went wild

 It is a known fact that DC had a couple of cutest guys and girls around the campus

Once Kikwang emerged from the back stage almost every girl in school ran towards the stage but, was stopped by a couple of teachers. Same thing with Hyuna but, for her guys began to cheer loudly.

The song began to play and Hyuna moved to the beat. She looked so y and tantalizing, for guys of course. But for Jaehyun, she looked awkward dancing on the chair

“You know Jae, that’s what you lack, femininity” said Yoseob at the back but, was elbowed harshly by Jaehyun

“Look whose talking… I’m pretty sure I can kick your when it comes to free style, bird boy” said Jaehyun which made Yoseob chuckle

Amidst the performance of her girlfriend, Kikwang’s eyes were glued at Jaehyun.

He knew to well that Jaehyun was much better than Hyuna in terms of dancing. Jaehyun’s style was cleaner and precise while Hyuna’s dancing was y and that’s it. The reason why she was always chosen to present their school in battle competition was because Jaehyun always declined the offer. She knew too well that she should start to stay away from Kikwang as much as possible but, their love for dancing was the reason they eneded up in the same club.

After Hyuna’s performance it was now time for Kikwang’s solo. Almost every girl had their camera’s or cell phones out just to record the performance. After the solo, all of the upperclassmen in DC had to do a number. First to perform were the girls and they would dance to the tune of Buttons by PCD.

Even though Jaehyun was placed at the back, because of Hyuna’s insisting, she still rocked the stage.

“I guess you’re having second thoughts now…” muttered Yoseob towards Kikwang who simply can’t take his eyes off Jaehyun.

‘When did she become this y?’ muttered Kikwang which made Yoseob chuckle.

I'm sorry if this chapter seems kinda rushed.... is it? >.<

I really feel apologetic towards you guys since it took me awhile to update...
