“ARRANGE MARRIAGE?!” yelled Jaehyun in disbelief as her mom broke to her the news.

“Yes dear, and its someone you’re really close to” said Jaehyun’s mom in a sing song voice

“Umma! I’m too young to get married and besides I don’t even have a boyfriend yet…” said Jaehyunas she tried to defend her side but it looks like her mom made up her mind already

“Aww, lighten up Jae. I know you’ll like the guy… he’s nice, sincere, and most of all  handsome” before Jaehyun’s mom could say anything else their doorbell rang

“I’ll get it” Jaehyun’s mom is really happy about this whole ordeal since one of her wishes would finally come true

“Hi Auntie…” and behold Lee Kikwang was standing in front of Kim Jaehyun’s door

“Oh no.. don’t tell me…”

“He’s the one you’re going to marry sweetie” said Jaehyun’s mom with a smile

‘This.is.a.disaster.’ thought Jaehyun as she stared at a dumbfounded Kikwang standing at her doorstep

“ARRANGE MARRIAGE?!” yelled a shocked Kikwang over the phone

“Pipe down shorty, I already said that earlier” Jaehyun was currently sitting on the opposite side of Kikwang who was on the phone talking to his mom

“Why didn’t you ask me first about this? What? I was eight! I don’t want to marry this ugly girl!” yelled Kikwang through the phone which made Jaehyun’s eyebrow twitch

“You think he’s all that but, he’s actually lacking in the height department. Not to mention his grades aren’t that good” said Jaehyun as she eyed Kikwang from head to toe

“I won’t marry this girl, I have someone already… be reasonable” Kikwang was actually pleading which was new to Jaehyun and somehow it hurt her somewhere

‘Yeah, you have that amazon girl who screams louder than a monkey…’ thought Jaehyun as she try not to let any tears from falling

Kikwang was continously pleading but the decision was final. Both of them will be wed in a few months time.

“Kikwang, I know you’re not happy about this but, think of it as helping your family business.” Said Jaehyun’s mom as she placed her hand on Kikwang’sshoulder

“I’m  sorry that I got carried away Auntie, it’s just that I don’t want to marry any girl.” He really empahsized the word ‘any’ as he looked at Jaehyun who just came back from the kitchen

“It’s alright Kikwang. I guess it’s our fault too, your mom and I, you see we thought that since you liked Jaehyun back then we also thought that it wouldn’t be hard merging the two companies together.” Said Jaehyun’s mom in sorrowful tone as she hung her head low

“It’s alright auntie, please don’t be sad.” Kikwang got alarmed when he saw Jaehyun’s mom looking sad

‘My mom is such a good actress’ muttered Jaehyun who was used to her mom’s acting skills whenever she wanted something

“Umma, stop the act. I know you’re happy about this. Fine, I’m willing to marry that boy as long as its for the company.”

“What about you, shorty?” asked Jaehyun as she turned towards Kikwang who got surprised when he saw Jaehyun’s mom smiling

“Fine. I’ll do it”
