Chapter 5 - Reunion Dinner
I Missed You
"Everything's set. Let's go." Sunggyu said as he finished preparing the food and the table with Himchan's help.
The guys were all at the table, said their prayers and made wishes for the future ahead.
"So, Jongup-ah, tell us about your life when you got lost." Youngjae began. Sungjong pulled out a bucket of drumsticks just to listen to Jongup's story.
Jongup had a smile on his face as he started to narrate every single detail. "When I fell, I got washed up ashore. Of course Daehyun-hyung was the one I looked for first. I kept wandering around until I got to Ilsan. I lost my memory due to starvation. For days, I slept on the trains, playing the guitar and doing impromptu acting and people really liked me. One day, a man and his wife came came to me and they said they were looking for a son. I felt like I really had no choice. But they were really nice. The reason why I kept my last name was because the man's last name was also Moon. He was a sword collector and that's why I remembered so easily. During the time that I was regaining my strength, I fell in love with dancing. I didn't know that I actually had the talent for dancing. I was actually in contact with Myungsoo that's why I knew that Dae worked there. I really convinced my parents to send me there because they wanted to send me to a private school. I really wanted to see you guys."
Sunggyu chimed in, "If I didn't suspect that it was Jongup, I wouldn't have accepted him. He had no other school records."
Daehyun became really confused and dumbfounded. "Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, wait a second. How did Jongup keep in touch with Myungsoo?"
Myungsoo answered, "It was actually at the mall when I saw Jongup. Sungyeol was shopping for clothes with Sungjong so I went strolling by myself. While I was walking, I saw a familiar patch of blonde hair. I went there, but I had my knife on hand, and before I knew it, Jongup had strangled me. Then I told him everything."
Sungyeol gasped and hugged Myungsoo by the shoulders. "I'm so sorry Myungie-ah. I thought you were cheating on me." Myungsoo smiled.
"Tell me more about how you fell in love with dancing, hyung." Junhong said as he placed his head in his Mama Himchan's shoulders.
"So I was walking around the park when I saw these people who were moving to the beat. I came up to them and asked what they were doing. They were surprised that I didn't know what dancing was. They told me that I should just move to how I feel and before I knew it, I was dancing." Jongup bowed his head.
"Did you ever think about Daehyun during your disappearance?" Youngjae curiously asked as they were finishing eating.
Jongup's head shot up and he looked at Daehyun. "Ever since I got my memory back, everything I did, reminded me of Daehyun-hyung. Even when I was dancing, the movements I executed, showed how I felt missing him everyday."
The two couldn't help but cry. Even the people who were there couldn't help but cry. Back when they were all in the clan, when the two admitted that they were in love with each other, they all started to be honest with their feelings for the other.
Little did the thirteen people know, a couple of eyes were spying on them.
"Ouch! Stop stepping on my head!" Said the tall one.
"Not your fault I'm a freaking dwarf!" Said the smaller one. They kept bickering until they fell from the tree that they were perching on.
The people inside were startled by the noises outside of Woohyun and Sunggyu's shared home. They quickly ran outside to see who they were.
Anger filled Daehyun's insides as looked at the first person he saw.
It was Byun Baekhyun, the person who betrayed him.
