Calm before the storm
Dara ChroniclesSandara's POV
2 weeks before the end of the 6th month, I was surprised for the different announcement my uncle made.
“We’ll be staying here for another 6 months, my contract got extended so we’re doing a new project in a couple of days.” He said with a smile.
“Really?” I answered happily.
“I know this would surprise you.” He said.
I jumped happily and ran out. “I’ll be back later. “ I shouted.
“Come home early!” he shouted after me.
He knew about my friendship with Wooyoung. He likes him too. He even said that it’s nice somebody is looking out for me; although he does tease me that Woo likes me but I laugh it off syaing that we are just friends… possibly the closest guy friend I have besides Jaejoong oppa.
I went directly to his house. The maid let me in when she saw me – no questions asked. It’s been 2 months since the incident and I bonded fast and really well with Wooyoung; that was something I didn’t totally expect. Even though I knew I’ll be leaving soon, I pushed it out of my head - Woo told me that as well. He said that what we have started won’t be cut off after 2 months, that even if I did move, he made me promise to tell him where, well, he even said even if I didn’t tell him, he’ll find out where I’m going whether I wanted to or not. I joked that he’s becoming a stalker – he answered he doesn’t care; just as long as he knows I’m safe.
When I entered the house, I saw him looking down at me from the staircase.
“I knew you’ll be coming.” He smiled.
“You know that’s scary…” I told him as I walk up the stairs toward him. “Did you place a tracking device on me?” I laughed at the ridiculous idea.
“Hmm… Not bad Sandy. That’s a good idea.” He said as he placed a hand on his chin, acting like he’s thinking seriously. “Sandy” – that’s his pet name for me.
“Ya! Don’t even attempt it.” I said seriously, but I was just controlling myself from laughing again.
“Maybe an anklet tracker is better, the type they use for house arrest or prisoners.” He winked; that made me finally burst out laughing. “Seriously now… I saw you earlier… I was looking out the window when you arrive.” He walked toward their Entertainment Center room in the 2nd floor, I followed him in and slumped down a bean bag. He sat on the sofa and looked at me.“I know you love my house more than our friendship…” he said seriously, I laughed again.
“Silly…I’m not here to see your house, although it’s nice to be here… guess what?” I said.
“What?” he said lifelessly.
“Yah! Don’t be like that… I got good news… well for me it is good, I don’t know about you.” I sat up straight.
“Okay, I give up… I really have no idea… spill!” he said scooting nearer.
“We’ll be... staying for 6 more months..." i said softly.
"Really?!" I smiled. "Really??" he repeated louder. I nodded and we both stood up.
