It was a teensy bit saddening but relieving. Kyuhyun chose to hide his love away, this time. And when he did, he noticed Sooyoung lighten up. Not the same stressed aura, a wittier mindset and a glowing presence. It hurt, sure did, but nobody had to know.
When she said thank you for understanding her, the boy could only force a smile and begin being the friend he said he’d be. It wasn’t easy but it was a sacrifice he’s willing to make for Sooyoung. And that, too, nobody will ever know about.
