Chen walked down the corridor, escorted by people wearing lab coats either side of him, and towards a door. He was led through the door and into a clinical-looking room, which was entirely white. And in this room, his throne awaited him.

He sat down; his mentors strapped him in. Then, they pulled the lever that was attached to the chair, and waved.

Electricity rippled through Chen's body. His hand twitched, and looked as if he was waving goodbye.
