The car drove fast as they left the palace. Once they were a block away from the palace he slowed down a bit and drove on. It felt nice with the wind blowing, she closed her eyes for a few seconds. He glanced over to her and then on the road. "You feeling okay now?" Changmin asked, making her eyes open. She smiled gently at him and nodded. He smiled back then turned a corner. Looking around, she noticed they were close to her parents'  apartment. He parked then went to go open the door for her. As soon as she got out of the car, she looked at him and bowed her head. 

"Thank you, for bringing me here," she said gently. He looked at her then nodded, smiling.

"Lead the way," he said, not sure which way and which apartment. Jieun smiled before walking to the stairs. A big smile came to her face as she walked along to the apartment. Happy to be back. She stood in front of the door, he stood beside her. Knocking the door, she waited and smiled brightly when her mother opened the door. Her mother looked at her as though wondering if it really was her, not just a dream.

"Umma!" she smiled and then her mother pulled her into a hug. The hug was tight, but she didn't care.

"Jieun. Come in, come in," she said, realizing that Changmin was there as well. They walked inside and her father came.

"Appa!" he hugged her tightly, her mother joining in. Tears rolled down her cheek, happy to see them. "I missed you both." Then her father noticed Changmin. He looked around to see if there was anyone else with them. Changmin bowed to them and smiled. 

"Hello, I'm Changmin. I brought Jieun here. She missed you both alot," he said, nodding with a smile. Jieun turned to him and smiled gently. He remembered to call her by Jieun. Her mother and father smiled and bowed back.

"Thank you," her father said, and her mother nodded in agreement. "Sit down, are you thirsty?" He looked from Jieun to Changmin. She gave a nod and smiled, feeling alot better. They looked to Changmin, and he felt a bit akward with the stares then smiled. He nodded and her parents smiled and went to the kitchen. Though they took awhile.

Jieun and Changmin sat beside each other. "This means alot to me," she said and turned to him. The smile on her face, he looked at her and a smile came to his face.

"I'm glad I could get you to really smile," he said, and she smiled, nodding.

"I'll be right back. See if they need help," she said and got up, only to have him get up as well.

"I can go instead," he said, trying to be helpful but she shook her head and smiled.

"Ani, it's fine," she laughed soft and he nodded, sitting back down. Watching her go to the kitchen he couldn't help but smile. She peeked into the kitchen to find her parents smiling and heard Changmin's name. "Yah! What are you two up to?" They jumped at the sound of her voice.

Waving their hands, she walked up to them and looked at them curiously. They laughed and smiled, changing the subject. "We're so happy you're here. Things good at the palace?" her mother asked, smiling. But she still kept staring at them.

Her father broke first, "You two came together. You like him?" At the question, her eyes widened. And they just smiled.

"Ani! He just helped me to come here," she said then crossed her arms. "Don't think wrong! He's just a friend." Jieun stared at them before getting her's and Changmin's cup. Leaving them there, she went to sit back down with him. Behind her back they laughed and talked about how they looked cute together. But sometimes her father would refuse.

Sitting beside Changmin, she smiled and sipped her drink. He sipped his and held onto it, smiling as well. Shortly after, her parents joined them again and smiled. She stared at them again and they laughed, sitting down. "How was it at the palace?" her mother asked.

Jieun put a smile on her face, but it dissappeared. "Umma..Appa.." she began, and Changmin stared at her gently. Looking down, she shook her head before staring at them. "I feel sad most of the time. I miss being here..and being called Jieun. Not Eun Mi." They looked at her sadly and her mother hugged her tightly.

"We will always be your parents. You can always come see us," she said softly, Jieun's hair. Changmin stared at them, sadness in his eyes. I wish I had that.. he thought to himself. They smiled gently at each other.

"Umma.You're the best," she said, smile on her face. "Appa you too." He smiled and hugged her tightly. They parted and laughed gently.

"Anyone hungry?" her mother asked, and she stood up to go to the kitchen again.

"Do you need help?" Jieun asked, and was about to get up. But her father stood up, shaking his head.

"I'll help her. You two just relax," he said and smiled before going to join her mother in the kitchen.

It was quiet for a moment but Changmin looked at her. "They love you alot," he said and she smiled gently, nodding. "I wish I had that.." he said the last part in a whisper. After thinking about it, she remembered, he was an orphan when he was picked as one of the maybe successors. She looked at him sadly then smiled at him.

"You can always come with me when I visit here," she said with a smile. It got him to cheer up. He really liked her family. "They like you." That got him to laugh and smile.

"I'm glad then. And thank you, Jieun," he told her and looked at her, smiling more. They didn't notice her parents staring at them from the kitchen. Her parents high fived each other before going back to cooking.

"You called me Jieun.." she said, feeling happy.

"Yeah, that's your name," he said, nudging her and smiling. Jieun nodded and then sighed, thinking to herself.

"I'm just not use to Eun Mi," she spoke softly. Her phone vibrated, checking to see who it was. It was her best friend Hyun Joong texting her if she was alright. She texted back, Ne I am :D you can visit me tomorrow, right? He had texted back yeah that he would, and it made her happy even more. Changmin and her talked for a bit until the food was ready.

"Lets eat," her father said and helped her mother get the food ready on the table. But it all got interrupted when a knock came on the door. They stared at each other and Jieun went to open the door. When she opened it, her eyes widened. Surprised at who it was.

"Wooyoung," Changmin said and stood up. Wooyoung was staring at Jieun only then at her parents, bowing to them with a smile.

"I'm sorry, I was going to take her with me back to the palace. But.." he began and her mother smiled.

"Come inside, we have enough food for all of us. Join us?" her mother asked, and he smiled at them.

"Thank you, I would like that," he said and smiled at Jieun. Though she didn't move, just kept staring at him. Wondering what he was up to. "If it's okay with you, Jieun." When he said her name, she didn't expect it. That he would even remember. It was quiet as they waited for her reply.

She moved aside, and nodded at him. "You can," she simply said and smiled, but not as bright. He walked inside and smiled at everyone.

"Thank you very much," he said and bowed again, smiling bright. Her mother couldn't help but smile then look at Jieun. She went to get her and smiled. Changmin sighed but smiled. Though, Jieun still didn't know what to think. I thought he hated me.. He looked to her with a smile and bowed to her. Mouthing the word, "Mianhae." The look in his eyes, he meant it. Changmin watched them then nodded to himself, smiling. They went to sit at the table. Changmin sat beside her on the left. While Wooyoung sat on the right of her. It made her feel a bit akward while her parents kept smiling happily.

Why do I feel like this? she puffed her cheeks and thought to herself. Looking at her parents, she couldn't help but smile. It's okay..and Wooyoung..he said sorry. She felt a bit better but still unsure about him.
