After leading the others to a table, Sungyeol called Minseok then introduced them to him.

“This is Minseok, and he will be your waiter today.”

“Wait, you’re not our waiter?”

“Nope.” He patted Minseok’s back then walked away.

“But..”

“Do you know them?” Luhan asked.

“Kinda. The dinosaur looking one is a bit annoying.” Sungyeol chuckled.

“Who’s that?” He pointed at Myungsoo.

“That’s our school’s kingka, L. Everybody loves him.”

“He seems kinda scary. Especially when he’s glaring at everything that breathes.”

“It’s just how he looks I guess.”

“Oh, like Tao?”

“Hey!” Sungyeol laughed.

“It’s okay, Tao. We don’t mean it that way.” Luhan giggled, putting his arm around Tao.

“Ahem.”

The three turned around to see Kris leaned against the wall with his arms crossed.

“Luhan, quit around and stop touching my Tao.”

Luhan scoffed. “I don’t around!”

“You kinda do hyung… Baby yoooooooou breakin’ my hurt!” Sehun sang.

“Heart. Not hurt. Heart.” Kris corrected.

“Shut up.”

Sungyeol laughed.

“You guys are crazy..”

“Sungyeol!”

Sungyeol heard his name being called.

He looked to the left to see Dongwoo waving.

“Yah, why are you calling him?! If someone sees me with him, I’m go-“ He heard Myungsoo complain.

“Sungyeol, come sit with us!” Woohyun called.

“I’m working, I can’t.”

“Sungyeol, go sit with your friends. You can have a 15 minute break.”

Sungyeol turned around and glared at his boss, Kris, who smirked.

‘I’m going to KILL YOU.’ He mouthed.

Kris gave a thumbs up sign then went into the kitchen.

Groaning, he walked over to the table and sat down next to Dongwoo.

“What do you want?”

Woohyun frowned. “We just wanna get to know you ~ All we know about you is that you’re the school’s loner.”

Dongwoo nodded. “Oh! And that you’re a fanboy of Infinite!”

“He also has a younger brother. He goes to our school.” Hoya added.

“Jinjja? Who?”

“Lee Sungjong.” Sungyeol answered.

“Oh, that cutie?” Woohyun giggled.

“Yah! Aren’t you supposed to be my boyfriend?”

“And don’t call my brother cute, you e.”

Myungsoo laughed.

The table got quiet.

They were all staring at him.

“What?” He looked at the others, confused.

“You laughed. This whole time you were all quiet and in your own little world.”

“Probably plotting world destruction.” Sunggyu laughed.

“That’s my job!” Sehun shouted from the counter.

“Sehun, quit eavesdropping and go back to work. Chanyeol, what did you do to door?!”

“My coworkers are crazy.” Sungyeol said chuckling.

“Anyway, I should get back to work now.” Sungyeol stood up from his seat.

“But you still have ten minutes, Sungyeol.” Kris giggled as he passed by.

“Do you not like us?” Woohyun and Dongwoo pouted.

“No, not really.” Sungyeol sat back down.

“You guys are weird.”

Woohyun scoffed. “So are you! Always being alone and stuff..”  

“Well, you and hamster-face,” He pointed to Woohyun and Sunggyu. “Are always making out when you get the chance!”

“What do you mean hamster?!”

“Hyung, you do resemble a hamster. Just a little.” Myungsoo giggled.

“And you Dinopuppy! Do you ever stop talking?”

“Dinopuppy?” They gave him a confused look.

“He has the face of a dinosaur, but the eyes of a puppy.”

“Ah, I see. But I don’t talk that much!”

“Yeah, you do.” Hoya said.

“And Mr.I’m-So-Perfect keeps looking at himself through his phone! I mean, who does that?”

“I do.” Woohyun raised his hand.

Sungyeol facepalmed himself and sighed.

“It’s obvious the loner doesn’t like you. So let’s go.” Myungsoo muttered and walked away from the table.

“Okay, see you in class Sungyeol!” Hoya waved.

“I don’t look like a hamster..” Sunggyu pouted while Woohyun ruffled his hair.

“Hamster are cute. Now, come on.”

“Bye Sungyeol!” Dongwoo smiled.

Sungyeol sighed in relief that they were gone, and went back to working.

“I don’t know why you don’t like him L.” Woohyun stated.

“Yeah, he seems pretty cool.”

Myungsoo rolled his eyes. “He’s a loner. A tree.  A…thing.”

“Why a tree?”

“He’s really tall.”

“Really? Huh, didn’t notice.”

“Yeah, me neither.”

Dongwoo giggled and put his arm around Myungsoo’s shoulder.

“Is someone interested in the tree?” He teased.

“No.” Myungsoo wiggled out of Dongwoo’s grasp.

“I’m not gay.” He growled.

“Oh! So you’re bi!”

“No, I’m straight.”

Sunggyu sighed. “That’s what they all say, L.”

“Yeah, I said that all the time before Gyu and I started going out.”

“Whatever, I’m going home.”

“See you tomorrow!”

Myungsoo waved then walked down the street since his house wasn’t very far.

“Sungyeol, take this with you.” Joonmyun gave him a bag.

“What is it?” He questioned.

“Some food. I heard about..uh..how your father left again. How are you guys doing lately?”

“Oh.. Well, Umma is still trying to find a job. And with the money from here is enough to get by.”

“Well, if you guys need anything just let me know.” Sungyeol nodded.

“Kamsahamnida hyung.”

“No problem.” He smiled.

With the food, Sungyeol left the café and headed home.
