My mouth hung slightly open as I took in the amount of information, but I still had a few questions.

“So why were you so quiet when we were around your grandfather?” I asked, confused.

Sehun stared at me intently before his light smile reappeared, and he answered,

“Not every family sees their members regularly, right? My family is like that considering 

 the last time I ever saw my grandfather was in middle school. Adding to my silence is also because I look up to him so much.”

He had a far-away look on his face when he added, “I want to be a doctor as great as him, as well.”

I forced my mind to take in all the information he presented. As over-whelming as the situation was, it still all led to a final question.

“Then why are you telling me this?” I asked frankly yet curiously. Our frienship had only just begun, and yet he told me so much in merely one sitting.

I expected Sehun to sit back and ponder on his answer for a few minutes before he replied, but he did not.

For a moment later, he replied with full confidence, assurance, and honesty,

“Because I choose you to be the only person who will know me as well as I know myself.”
