Biology
Silent Attraction
By far, Biology is the hardest subject in our school.
This is undoubtedly so because of the fresh topics, large number of classmates, and the unavoidably strict professor.
Though a woman, Mrs. Kim is as experienced and knowledgeable as a man.
It is because of her why everyone in class straightens their backs and heightens their attention.
Once, while she was introducing a complicated topic on muscles, I took the risk of glancing at the faces of my classmates.
Some were furrowing their eye-brows to suggest concentration,
while others were biting their nails in frustration.
But all were taking down notes.
However, as I squinted my eyes to look at the farthest, darkest corner of the oval-shaped classroom,
I spotted one person carelessly twirling a pen in his hands.
He looked bored, indifferent; almost confident.
I wondered who in their right mind would exhibits such actions.
