Description
Thirty minutes before disaster, a soothing silence engulfed the late-night bus.
Twenty five minutes before disaster, Yunseo ran through its door as fast as her legs allowed, thinking that it was going to leave without her.
Twenty minutes before disaster, Woo Sunghyun sleepily took the seat adjacent to hers.
For the remaining twenty minutes, both young adults were undoubtedly untroubled, as it was simply a usual night for them.
But tonight was unknowingly different.
Because this night, a hijacking schedule was planned.
Foreword
5 Minutes after Disaster (12:20 in the Evening)
If I turned my head to the front, I would see the face of the person whom I hoped to avoid the most: our captor.
But moving my head to the left would be worse, for there was nothing significant enough to divert my attention and fears.
Therefore, I angled my face to the right so that I now stared directly in to the man's eyes.
When he smiled reassuringly at me, my anxiety eased more greatly than I had hoped.
