Revelation
Silent Attraction
I stopped reading and I released the book from my grasp all together. It took only a single nod from me for Sehun to start talking.
“I always looked up to my mom,” he started out randomly.
“It was because of her that I took extra medical classes, and it is because of her why I studied so hard.”
Sehun stared deeply into my eyes. “The day you woke me up was the day I studied for nine hours straight,
so I could not help but to let my eye lids down. And after that incident I was so embarrassed to look at you!”
He smiled nervously before continuing. “But I could not stop studying because I had to do well in front of my mother,
especially since she’s teaching in this school. So I did not bother skipping meals if I could be on top of the class.” He rubbed the back of his neck unsurely.
“When I reported well enough in Biology, I looked in to my mother’s eyes and saw that she was proud,” he stated.
“And that was the first time she ever gave me that look!” Sehun grinned like an excited child.
“From then on, I knew that I could rest and focus more on photography. The less stress altogether made me even happier than before.”
He smiled reassuringly and continued to talk.
