Chapter 3

Dara’s P.O.V.

 

I sat at the chair in front of my fiancé.

 

 

“I-It’s you. Long t-time no s-see, Jiyong…”

 

 

“How are you, Dara?”

 

 

My throat tightened. I can’t speak. I don’t know what to say. Especially…

 

 

“Dara.” He repeated.

 

 

Oh God. How I missed that soothing and gentle voice. Did he change?

 

 

“Uhh, I’m fine. Y-You?”

 

 

“Fine. So, you’re my fiancée?”

 

 

“Y-Yes.” I replied softly.

 

 

He slightly chuckled.

 

 

“No wonder mom told me I might like my fiancée. Surprised it was you.”

 

 

“Oh. So, how about we eat first?” I requested.

 

 

“Sure.”

 

 

The waiter came in with the foods.

 

 

Then we started eating.

 

 

A-W-K-W-A-R-D

 

 

“Soo, any changes about you?” Ji asked.

 

 

“Nothing, still the same. You?” I said as I took a sip of my juice.

 

 

“Change… A LOT.”

 

 

I gulped.

 

 

“O-Oh…” That’s what I can only say.

 

 

“So, when do you want the wedding?” He asked flatly.

 

 

“The sooner, the better. Saturday may do.” I said, trying to avoid his gaze.

 

 

“Good. We’ll have it on Saturday. 5 more days to go. Besides, I want it sooner too. So, I guess… We’re done?” He said.

 

 

“But-”

 

 

“Wait, how about a date? Wedding matters, I guess?”

 

 

“Sure.”

 

 

 

 

Author’s P.O.V.

 

The two exited the restaurant and decided to use Jiyong’s car.

 

 

Dara called Butler Lee and told him to pick up Dara’s car while she rides with Jiyong.

 

 

On the way to the Kwon Mall…

 

 

“Dara.” Ji spoke.

 

 

“Y-Yes?”

 

 

“Do you have a boyfriend?” He asked seriously.

 

 

“What?! No!”

 

 

“I mean, n-no… Why?”

 

 

“Don’t mind it. Let’s go.”

 

 

Ji got out of the car and opened the door for Dara as they went inside the mall.

 

 

“Should we look for a ring first?” Ji insisted.

 

 

“Okay.”

 

 

They went to the wedding ring store and picked a ring.

 

 

“What kind of ring would you like, sir?” The lady approached Jiyong and gave a seductive smile.

 

 

Which made Dara upset.

 

 

“We will look around first. Come on, BABY.” Dara told the lady sternly then gave her a death glare. Then she dragged Jiyong with her.

 

 

“Calm down, Dara.” Jiyong chuckled.

 

 

“Oh no, I won’t. She’s a flirt, Jiyong.”

 

 

“I know.”

 

 

“Omo, Ji!!! I like this one! Let’s just get this!!” Dara beamed as soon as she saw a silver ring with a ‘Forever Yours’ text on it.

 

 

“Okay. We’ll get this one.” Jiyong told the manager.

 

 

They got the ring then went to look for their outfits.

 

 

Jiyong told Dara to look for a dress while he’ll look for a tuxedo.

 

 

Dara looked around the shop to look for a dress but she can’t pick one since all the dresses were so fascinating.

 

 

Until one wedding dress caught her eye. Her dream wedding dress.

“Do you like this, ma’am?” The manager asked.

 

 

“Y-Yes. This is my dream wedding dress.” Dara said happily.

 

 

“Omo, Jinjjayo? Let me have a look.” The manager said as she examined the dress if it fits Dara well.

 

 

“Ma’am, this dress looks excellent and perfect on you. No wonder it is your dream wedding dress.”

 

 

“Really? Thank you. I’ll get this one.”

 

 

“Neh.”

 

 

 “Whoever your fiancé is, I’m sure he’s very lucky.” The lady said while fixing the dress properly.

 

 

“I… think so too.”

 

 

“Uhm, ma’am. May I know your fiancé’s name?”

 

 

“Yeah. He’s Kwon Ji Yong.”

 

 

“NEH?!?! K-Kwon Enterprise’s K-Kwon Jiyong?!?!?!” The lady shrieked in shock.

 

 

“Y-Yes. Uhm, are you done with that?”

 

 

“Ah, neh. You’re so lucky, ma’am. I’ll give you a 20% discount ‘coz you have Kwon Ji Yong! Hehe.”

 

 

Dara chuckled.

 

 

“Thanks.”

 

 

Meanwhile…

 

 

Jiyong reached the store and looked for a tuxedo.

 

 

As he continued to scan, he found what he likes.

 

 

“I’ll get this.” He told the manager.

 

 

“Neh.”

 

 

He got his suit then went to the store where he left Dara.

 

 

8 minutes later~~~

 

 

“Jiyong, what took you so long?” Dara asked.

 

 

“I had a hard time picking a tuxedo.” He said coldly.

 

 

“Omo! Annyeonghaseyo! It’s a pleasure to meet you sir.” The lady SMIRKED as she held out her hands which made Jiyong eyes widen in shock but gladly took and nodded then  just

SMIRKED also.

 

 

“Uhm, ma’am. Why don’t you try the dress on?”

 

 

“Can I?” Dara asked the lady while she nodded.

 

 

Then she looked at Jiyong pleadingly.

 

 

“Go try it on.” He said flatly.

It took 8 minutes to put Dara’s dress on.

 

 

Then the curtain revealed a gorgeous and a goddess Dara.

 

 

As soon as Jiyong saw it, his eyes sparkled at the view and it never left Dara.

 

 

“Sir, what do you think?

 

 

“It’s… perfect. You’re beautiful, Dara.” He said which made Dara blush.

 

 

“T-Thanks.”

 

 

When Dara slightly bowed to fix the folds, Jiyong quickly took out his iPhone and took a picture of her.

 

 

“I’ll change now, okay?” Dara asked then Ji nodded.

 

 

After changing, they bid their goodbyes at Jiyong and the lady smirked at each other again.

 

 

The two left and went to the ice cream shop.

 

 

“What’s your order, sir?” The waiter approached the two.

 

 

“I’ll have vani-” Dara’s sentence was cut off by Jiyong.

 

 

“2 orders of Vanilla ice cream with Malteseres on top. That’s all.”

 

 

“Your order will be ready in 10 minutes.”

 

 

“How did you know I want that?” Dara asked amusingly.

 

 

“You told me awhile ago you HAVEN’T CHANGED so I still know hat you want.”

 

 

“O-Oh.. Right.”

 

 

10 minutes later, their order arrived then they started to eat.

 

 

“Hmm. Yummy!” Dara exclaimed while there was ice cream at the corner of her lip.

 

 

“Dara, wipe that.” Jiyong said.

 

 

“What?” She asked innocently.

 

 

Instead of answering, Jiyong got a tissue then wiped the ice cream off Dara’s lip.

 

 

“Oh, sorry. Let’s go now. I’m done.”

 

 

The two left then Jiyong dropped Dara at her house.
