I burst into laughter when I heard her say that my wine opener is missing. She's really cute actually-my new neighbour. I didn't expect having a neighbor. But if it's her, I don't mind. 

 

"It's okay, you can search for it again. I don't mind" I said to her.

" But, it really isn't in my apartment. I've searched everywhere."

"It's okay, I can buy one later" I stared at her, studying her face.

"I will get you a new one, I insist." 

"Whatever" I said.

 

 

She really did buy a new one.

Knock Knock.

I opened the door to see the girl standing in front of my door.

"Hey." 

"Here, I bought it for you. It's not the same as yours but this has really good quality." She passes the wine opener to me. 

"Oh, thank you Miss...?" What? I can't believe I still don't know her name. How could I?

"Oh.. It's Hye Jin. Jung Hye Jin."

"Thank you Hye Jin-ssi" I said again. She nodded.

 

I didn't expect her to come again. But, she really did. Said that her lights went off and asked if I could fix it for her.

"Umm, Myungsoo-ssi, sorry to bother you, my light went off last night." she said.

"And then?" I waited for her reply.

" Can you fix it?" she grinned sheepishly.

I smile back. " What? You can't fix it yourself?"

She nodded, shy. "I can't 'cuz I don't have ladder and it's very high"

"Go use your chair then." I said. I can't help but laugh. How can she be so stupid?

" Myungsoo-ssi, why are you laughing? You laughing at me aren't you?"

I shook my head, " No... It's not" I can't help but laugh again. She looks like little angry so I agreed,

" Okay..okay.. I will fix it for you."

 

" Turn on the lights Hye Jin-ssi." I said after placing the lamp in its spot.

"See? Now your lights have been fixed." She thanked me and asked me if I wanted a cup of tea. I shook my head.

" I gotta go. I have a job, you know." I open her apartment door and keyed in my apartment's password.

She stopped me. " What is your job, Myungsoo-ssi?"

I turn my head to her, looking at her expression. 

" I'm an architect" I said and then go to my apartment.

 

2 days later, someone knocking my apartment again.

Her again, Jung Hye Jin. I open the door.

" Can you press the bell instead of knocking?"

"Okay" she nodded. But I'm afraid she don't understand .

" So ?" I asked.

" Myungsoo-ssi, do you know how to use this?" I look at her hand, cradling a new dSLR camera.

I choke, " Just press this button" I point to the camera's button.

She shook her head, " It's not it. I know that too. But to arrange the brightness, etc, I can't..."

" Hmm, that's a little bit hard... But okay, I'll teach you. Come in, I'll explain it." she nodded and followed me into my apartment.

She looks around my apartment, touching everything.

" Hey! Don't touch that!" I yelled from the pantry. " Juice or tea?"

" Just tea please. Without sugar."

It's funny how they both arguing.

I want to laugh. HAHAHA.....
