Sandara opened that box. A letter was inside. Smiling, she opened the letter.

Dear Sandara,

  By the time you read this, I would be gone. Gone? What do you mean as gone? I forgot, an adorkable girl like you needs more explanation. Kekeke… I might be leaving the world. I will be leaving this country. I will be leaving your embrace. Why now? Because I found Hanee. [Note: I changed her name from Jessica to Hanee]  

Sandara heart thumped heavily and loudly. Her eyes started to get moist. She continues.

I ignored you for a week is because I realized I can live without you. I ignored you for a week just to spend my time with Hanee. I ignored you for a week, because… I lost my feelings for you…. I’m happier with Hanee now. I don’t have to feeds your childish needs. Kekeke. I’m that evil. And this evilness is too much to destroy your life. Forget me.

PS: If I ever get married to Hanee, do come to our wedding.

As each word sinks into her head, it seems like a million stabs on her heart.  Tears rolled like no tomorrow.  As much as she wants to dash to the airport to see him, stop him, her legs went numb. She stood there, not sure who to blame.

“We will be forever together”

Sandara started shivering as she remember all those promises he made. No, those lies he said.  Sandara clutches her necklace, tightly.

“Oppa, it’s time… If we don’t leave now, we will miss the flight.” Hanee nudges Jiyong. Jiyong looks at the entrance for the last time. His heart cringes as he thought back of the depressing faces she made when he ignored her.

He clutches his necklace, praying,” Dara, stay strong. I don’t want tears to ruin your face.  Stay happy. Find a better… man.” As a silent tear rolled down…
