Making Mistakes the Right Way {a writing tip thread}

Decided to write a ranting chapter, finally. c: (Though in the previous chapters you have seen snippets of my ranting.) Please do not be offended or any other way, I hope you give me some mercy. I'm just being honest here.

Like seriously. Font size. Can we consider that our readers are like eighty-year old seniors? We don't all have 20/20 vision, yet you assume so, because you know, you decided to make the font like this small. HA. Can you even see it? I can't. -___- And Georgia (the font that I'm using right now) is considered pretty large in size. Think about it. If you used Times New Roman in font size 9, take a look, will you? are you kidding me. Do you get what I'm saying? It's pretty much destroying our eyes. I think I'll have to wear contacts then glasses on top of that. (Yes, I have prescriptions.) I'm gonna be an EXTREMELY blind bat (and bats are already blind.) by the time I finish your story. And if your story isn't that great, I might altogether stop reading your fanfiction. You might just lose a reader, just like that. Consider us as old seniors who have terrible eyesight? (Not to be offensive, kay?) -___- Guys. PLEASE. All writing tip/peeves stories mention this topic. It's that important. Just don't make it super HUGE. KAY. like. 200 sized font. -___-

Size 12-16 is completely okay. But if it's huge, or small...then good luck. Let's hope that your readers love you to death, so that they'll even sarcifice their own eyes to read your story. Oh yeah, and don't kill our eyes with blinding neon colors. *coughcough* Character descriptions. -__-

consider our eyes, you know? blinding you guys enough yet? no? then you're amazing. go look at the sun since your eyes are so strong. asdfghjkl; I'm gonna flip a table now. kay. bye. asdfghjkl; OH YEAH. AND ONE MORE THING. DON'T WRITE IN SUPER LIGHT FONT. gosh. -___- don't write your stories in like pink font. it's annoying. it's killing our eyes slowly.

Chapter 12: i agree, i love it when the writer put the twist inside the story (esp if the story was mystery! and more love if it's nicely written!) i was like 'wait, so all the time i was wrong? w-wait what?'

Chapter 11: i thought the second person point of view is when the main character talks to the reader from within the book?

Chapter 11: I apologize, but I must disagree. In fact, the second person narrative is widely enjoyed in literature. Although it is hard to write, it can result in something beautiful when executed well. Heck, one of my favorite novels is written in the second person point of view. I understand that a lot of these so-called "you" fics on AFF are a load of crap, and I feel sad because they are butchering the second person narrative. However, I do not believe you should immediate judge a fic by the narrative/point of view it takes.

I immediately lose interest in the fan fiction if it has terrible grammar and not the right font.
