*bam!  bam! bam! * 

 

a sound of a gun shot filled the silent room.

 

"Noooo!" a girl with flowing straight black hair shouted as soon as she heard the gun shot and a body of a boy falls down on the floor, bleeding so hard on his head, blood flowing out his head like a river.

 

"Look what happened! We even counted to ten, but you won't obey us! That's what you get, kid!" the man with a gun in a black jacket shouted angrily.

 

"Now, girl.. better obey us now or we'll make your boyfriend suffer like hell..." the man warned and then laughed.. "even though he's dead already" he added.

 

"Nooo! He's not dead you bastards! I-i'll k--kill yoou!" the girl shouted at a group of armed men in black jacket just like the man who shot the boy.

 

"Okay, playing hard to get, huh? !" the man said and grabs the hands of the girl tightly which made the girl followed his order to stood up.

 

"If you try to escape, we'll shoot your boyfriend's head again and again... and you don't want that, right?" the man asked sarcastically to the girl and the girl just nodded in agreement but tears rolling fast down on her cheeks.

 

"Now.. get in the v---" the man orders her to get inside the van when he got cut off when they heard a familiar sound.

 

A siren of police cars.

 

"Sh*t! There's police coming!" another member of the kidnappers shouted trying to warn their other members.

 

"Get inside immediately !" the man orders the girl again but it's too late because the girl automatically runs as soon as she heard the siren of the police cars coming.

 

"F*** we'll get that someday! Her father needs to repay for what he have done!" the man said and curse again.

 

"Retreat!" the man ordered his men and the other men immediately starts their engine.

"Ji! Ji!.. Oh..m--my G--God!" the girl shouted as she saw her boyfriend laying down the floor trying to crawl on his own.

 

"D-D-dara??" the boy asks the girl for confirmation.

 

"Yes, Ji.. I'm here..." the girl replied when she moves forward to get closer to her boyfriend when she noticed what's on her foot that she stepped on. Cellphone. It was a cellphone dialing an emergency number, a police hotline.

 

"..y--you even c-ca-called t-the p-po-police.." the girl said in husky voice from crying

 

"I don't want you to be kidnap just like that.. I can't take it if they'll get my girl without permission" the boy replied in a calm voice and smiled at her at ease.

 

"I feel so bad. This is my fault, I drag you to this problem, and I didn't even do something to help us... mianhe Jiyong" the girl cried again embarassed to face her boyfriend.

 

"Aigoo, shhh.. don't cry, you'll get ugly.. such a beautiful face to destroy" the boy joked and laughed at her even though he already felt dizziness from being shot three times on his head.

 

"b-but.." 

 

"I don't want to see you crying, right? That's what I said when I ask you to be my girlfriend, right?" the boy said and it makes the girl shocked, he still remembers it. The first time, the first day.. their first day of being together until now.

 

"Yeah.." the girl nodded and wiped her tears with her hands and slowly created a smile on her lips.

 

"That's my girl.. stay like that okay? I want to wake up with your face just like that, ahrasso? I want you to be on my side, forever" the boy pleaded her and she just nodded when suddenly the boy slowly closes his eyes.

 

"Ji! No! Ji, don't you dare close your eyes! I'll kill you if you will!" the girl shouted angrily with a voice of a worried girlfriend. Tears of a lonely person.

 

But the thing that she expected from him didn't come true.. the boy finally closes his eyes, pulse are beating slowly. 

 

"Ji.. please.. wake up... don't leave me" the girl said and cried.

Thankfully as the girl cries when her boyfriend finally closes his eyes, a policeman noticed them and immediately help the girl to bring the boy to the nearest hospital. It was a relief when he still breathes when he was delivered to the operation room. But what makes the girl worried is that there's still no news to what is the condition of the boy. It has been 10 hours since he was delivered inside the room and she was waiting patiently and worriedly outside the door of the operation room.

 

"You need to wake up, Ji.." the girl whispered to herself.

 

"Jiyooong! Jiyooong!" a familiar voice of a woman yelled as she bangs the door of the operation room.

 

"A--ahjumma" the only words that escapes the girl's mouth. She was right, the woman was Jiyong's mother.

 

"D--Dara! What happened!? Tell me! Tell me!" the woman said angrily as she held the girl's shoulders and shaked her.

 

"Just an hours ago he told me that he would go with you, but now I receive a call from a hospital telling me that my son is now in the operation room!" the woman added.

 

"It's my fault" the girl said bravely. She has to tell her the truth.

 

"What?.. What did you say?" the woman said. "What happened!? TELL ME!" the woman shouted.

 

"Omma! Don't blame her!" Minzy said, Jiyong's little sister.

 

"Stay out of this matter, Minzy! Besides she confesses that it's her fault!" the woman shouted again.

 

"Omma! Stop it!" Minzy said stoping her mother from hurting her oppa's girlfriend.

 

"Ma'am!" a voice of a doctor surpasses their arguement.

 

"Doctor! How's Jiyong!? Tell me!" the woman immediately said as she saw the doctor from the door of the operation room.

 

"Are you his relatives?" the doctor asked for confirmation.

 

"Yes, I'm his mother.. please tell me.. is he okay?" 

 

"I'm sorry ma'am.. but his in critical condition. We did our best to take out the three bullets out of his head and luckily he made through the operation. But now, I'm afraid that he will be in comatose state. We can't say that he will wake up now, tomorrow or next year. I'm so sorry ma'am.." the doctor explained,  "but you can see him now" the doctor added.

 

The woman just broke down as soon as she heard what the doctor told them. How could this be? she thought.

 

"Dara, tell me.. what happened when you were together? I don't remember any death threats for him! He's a good son, who would want to kill him!?" the woman stood up and shaked the girl again, now even stronger.

 

"I..I know.. I'm so sorry.." the girl said while tears from her eyes starts to form and rolled down on her cold cheeks.

 

The girl immediately hugged her boyfriend's mother, wanting to tell her that he will be okay because he said so. But the woman just cried, but this time she's not fighting back to the girl, she lets her hugged her and comforts her until she felt sleepy.

"Are you sure, unni?" Minzy asked the girl again.

 

"Neh.. I'm sure.. I need to do this, it's the right way. I've caused you a big problem and I feel bad about it, especially to your mom and big brother" the girl said and smiled.

 

"B-but! Jiyong-oppa needs you" the little girl said trying to stop her again.

 

"I know, but I'm not the right girl. Someday, he will meet her in an amazing place.. maybe what I see in our relationship is not my future neither your brother's future." the girl said.

 

"okay.. unni, I'll miss you.." the little girl smiled and give her brother's girlfriend a big and tight hug.

 

"Me too"

 

"Would you like to say something to him, before you go? Or leave something? As a memory from you" the little girl suggested and smiled at her.

 

"I think it's wonderful" she said and smiled.

 

"Okay, I'll leave you for a while"

 

As soon as the girl heard the door closing, she sat on the chair beside the bed of where the boy sleeps.

 

"Ji, I'm sorry.. you're in this state because of me.. I'm sorry for all of this" she said and cried

 

"And mostly, I'm sorry for doing this, but I need to do this.. for your sake and your family's sake. I didn't think of leaving you because I want to, I'll leave because for you to be safe, for you to live peacefully, more freely and beautifully with another girl. I think I am not the right girl for you... but if I am, I know destiny will make our paths get cross again" she said happily trying not to get emotional.

 

"I love you so much, Jiyong" she said and kiss his lips. And then she put something on the boy's wrist. A bracelet. A chrome hearts bracelet.

 

"I hope you'll be better without me" she said lastly and immediately runs out the door.

 

 

"I... l-love y--you too, D--dara" 5 words escaped from the boy's mouth, unconsciously replying to what the girl said to the last.
