I stood in front of the hospital's exit.

"You got everything?" Dr. Kim asked.

I nodded.

I saw my parents black Toyota pull up in front of the hospital. My dad stepped out the car and walked into the hospital.

"Are you ready to go, sweetie?" He asked.

I nodded.

He held out his hand. I grabbed his hand and held to it tight.

I admit, I'm scared to go outside.

I haven't been there over half a year.

We walked out the door.

The cold winter breeze hit my face, sending chills down my body.

My dad opened the car door for me. I waved goodbye to Dr. Kim and got into the car. My dad closed the door and got in the driver's seat. He the engine and sped off towards home.

"Are you excited to go home?" My mom asked.

"Kind of." I answered.

"You should be SUPER happy because everything will be back to normal!" She exclaimed.

"I'm excite alright." I said sarcastically.

"You better be."

The car pulled up on our driveway and parked. I got out of the car and walked to the front door. I twisted the door knob, but somehow it was open. I pushed the door open all the way.
