I lay silently in the hospital bed. The only noise was made in the room was the clock.

Tick Tock Tick Tock.

I realized I needed to go to the bathroom.

I sat up and moved my legs to the edge of the bed.

The sound of the clock was surprisingly loud...

Tick Tock.

I stood up and began to walk slowly to the door. I put my hand on the door knob and turned.

Tick Tock.

I suddenly stopped; The door was only opened a crack.

"Welcome back, Mr. and Mrs. Lee. It's nice to see you again." A deep voice said. I assume it was my doctor, Dr. Kim.

"It's nice to see you again too, Dr. Kim." Said a scared and shaky voice. It must be my mom.

"I have some... News for you." There was an awkward silence, until my dad broke it.

"W-What is it?" He asked. Dr. Kim took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry, Mr. and Mrs. Lee, but... Soori has third degree cancer and won't be likely to survive. There's no treatment. I'm so sorry."

I froze.

I was going to die.

Tick Tock.

Tears formed in my eyes.

I started to back away from the door, heading towards the hospital bed.

I heard my parents aimlessly cry.

Tick Tock.

I laid back down on the bed and pulled the sheets over my face.

I clenched my eyes shut.

"I'm going to die..."
