I snuggled my head on top of my crossed arms. As I dreamt on about boys bands and idols, I felt a sharp prick on my forehead. I furrowed my eyebrow at the sensation and shook it off, grumbling in my sleep.

"Ms. Kim, please wake up," Leeteuk asked sweetly, holding a hand out to me.

"Mm, just a few more minutes, Leeteuk oppa," I mumbled.

"Ms. Kim, I am not Leeteuk, and this is not naptime. Now sit up! The last bell is about to ring," Leeteuk suddenly reprimanded in Mr. Park's voice.

Frightened by the image, I shot up in my seat, slamming the back of my chair against the desk behind me. I looked up to see Mr. Park, my math teacher, glaring down at me with his wooden pointed in hand. He gave me a stern nod before walking back to the front of the class. I sank into my seat mortified as everyone erupted into laughter. Everyone except Taekwoon the transfer student, that is. He looked at me with his cold, expressionless eyes and just shook his head in disapproval. The last bell of the day could not have come any sooner. I guess I was saved by the bell.

I sat at my desk, waiting until everyone left. I began to slowly pack my things up, glancing at everyone's smiling face as they passed me by.

"Had a nice dream, Jae Hee?" A classmate sneered.

I winced at his comment and placed my head on the desk, covering my head up with my arms. Once all the footsteps stopped, I lifted my head again and groaned loudly into the quiet classroom with my eyes closed.

"Ugh, why does this always happen to me?" I growled, making the most unpleasant face ever.

"Because you always fall asleep in class," Taekwoon replied.

My eyelids popped open, and I swung my head toward Taekwoon's desk. He was still sitting at his seat staring into his math book.

"Why are you still here? Everyone left," I asked, my heart racing from embarrassment.

He lifted an eyebrow at me and answered, "I have to have a reason to stay behind? It's not like you own the classroom."

I rolled my shoulders back, surprised at his sassy remark. I sat there, scoffing back and forth with my jaw dropped, unsure as to what I should reply. He sighed loudly and stood up, pushing his chair in. He then began packing all his belongings into his shoulder bag and slung it over his shoulder.

"Whatever. I'm leaving anyway. I have soccer practice," Taekwoon said quietly, walking out the door.

I stared at him as he walked out, holding his math book in hand. As he stepped out the door, he swung his arm forward, causing the math book's pages to fluter. A small piece of paper floated to the ground, and Taekwoon disappeared out the door. I curiously walked over to the paper and picked it up. It was a photo of what I presumed to be Taekwoon and his parents, happily posing for a picture in the park. As I stared at the picture, I couldn't help but realize that the little boy looked quite familiar. Then it hit me.

"Leo!" I gasped, noticing my childhood friend. "Taekwoon is Leo? Well, who would've guessed."

I grinned from ear to ear and rushed to pack up my belongings before rushing off to the soccer field to return the photo. I was so excited to meet my old, smiley friend again after six years apart. He'd transferred nearly a month ago, but I hadn't noticed him because he was such a loner. How could I not remember my old friend? ...
