Description
Abandoned at the temple's gates, Cassandra was adopted by the women who lived there. These women called themselves the vestal s, followers of the Greek goddess Hestia. The day Cassandra turned thirteen, she was offered a contract. This contract binded her to the vestal goddess with an oath of ity, promising that in turn for staying a , Hestia will watch over her and grant her abilities and immortality she'd only heard of in fictional stories. With such a great offer came a catch; if Cassandra lost her ity, she'd immediately lose her powers and her immortality, becoming human once again. Cassandra kept her contract with the goddess for centuries, she could keep it up if she wanted. But when fate sent a messenger to test her, would she fall for the trap? Will Cassandra realize this wasn't the first time she's been tested?
