I lifted her up on the bed, carefully since I felt her tiny and weak body in my arms, as if she were going to break apart if I just used one tiny strength of mine..

The guys were watching me quietly as I put her down on the bed. I felt her grip around my shirt hardened as she was frightening looking at them from a distance..
I nodded at Donghae who took one step forward but I felt her entire body freeze immediately so I gestured him to stop right where he was

Her body was still stiff, shaking while sitting next to me. I didn't dare to put my arm around her

"What's wrong with her?" Junsu asked

"She's shaking guys. Her body froze when Donghae took one step towards us.. She reacts as soon as you guys do anything. I don't even dare to use my strength in order to carry her over here" I breathed and looked at them

"We need to do something she can't.. refuse Donghae. She needs his help in order to recover" Changmin mumbled

I nodded in agreement

"Otoke?" I asked

"How about we step outside for a bit. I have something to tell you" Donghae suggested and started to back away

I felt her body loosen up a bit but her hands were still holding onto me tightly. I slowly stood up as well and she looked confused at me at first but I smiled at her

"I'll be right back.. " I whispered and grabbed her wrist gently and released her grip around my shirt.

I saw her swallow hard but she let go of me and crawled back to the bed, her back facing the wall and she was clinging onto the blanket and wrapped it around her..

"Gosh this sight of her is killing me.." Yunho whispered

I sighed

"Kah Ja"

We all stepped outside the room and closed the door, headed towards the livingroom and sat down

"Okay.. it is confirmed that she has memory loss. I checked the pictures earlier.. And the results of the blood test. seems like she has been given some kind of drugs.. in order to make her a bit weaker.. I think that is where the injuries took place" Donghae said

"Like she was trying to defend herself against them but when they were trying to give her the drug?" Yoochun asked

"Right. I have no idea what kind of drug it is yet but my assistant are investigating it at the moment" Donghae said

"Then how is her condition?" I asked

"I need to examine her in order to know. She hasn't spoken a word yet and I need her to answer a few questions .."

I sighed

"How about JaeJoong and I go in there at first? I think she's afraid that there's so many people in there at the same time. We have to consider that her memories and fears of guys are .. very.. serious at the moment" Donghae suggested

The other guys nodded

"call if you need anything" Changmin said

I took a deep breath as I knocked softly on the door

"MinJi?"

I opened the door a bit and she was in the same state that we had left her earlier. She was still sitting on the bed, her hair was a mess and she was still having those frightened looking eyes at us

I entered slowly

"Can I come in?" I asked

I stayed right where the door entrance was with Donghae behind me..

She didn't answer

I looked at her

"We're not here to hurt you. DOnghae needs to check up on you to see if you're fine and how your health is. CAn we enter?" I asked

Still no answer

"Do you think she understands us?" Donghae asked

"Or maybe she's just watching us. I think it's ok. We'll notice when it's time to stop"

I took one step at the time, and so was Donghae and we approached the bed without her protesting. Donghae looked at her and pulled out his hand

"I need you to put your hand in mine so that I can check your pulse" Donghae said gently

She watched his hand and then at him, not responding

"I need you to put your hand in my hand so that I can check your pulse" Donghae repeated

Soon we saw her tiny hand reaching towards Donghae's and soon it was right where Donghae needed it to be in order to check her pulse.

"Good Girl" Donghae smiled

There was no reaction to that and Donghae started to check her pulse. He then started to press her arm, push all over to see if there was any reactions to it

"Tell me if it hurts" Donghae said

I looked at MinJi who was looking at Donghae's professional hands. She followed his gestures as if she has never seen anything like this before and I couldn't help but to chuckle at her

Donghae and MinJi looked at me

"What's wrong?" Donghae asked

"She looks just like a kid.. her eyes is following your hand gestures just like a dog watching some kind of meat.." I chuckled

Donghae rolled his eyes

"DOn't mind him. He's stupid" Donghae joked and smiled at MinJi.

No reaction to that either..

Donghae took out a small notepad and took down some notes and then he was checking the crook of her arm. He soon leaned forward to have a closer look at it

"The drugs.. were injected right here" Donghae mumbled

I looked at MinJi and somehow I saw some kind of facial expression on her face

"Donghae let her go .. " I whispered

"Mwoh?"

"Let her go. Let go of her arm.. Now!" I said

He immediately did as I said and then we saw MinJi taking back her arm placing it close to her body, as if she was afraid that we were going to inject something

"She's sensitive in that area.. We have to be careful" I said

MinJi looked at me

"Do you think she can talk?" Donghae asked

"Of course she can.. But the question is if she wants to.."

"She hasn't uttered any kind of sounds ever since she arrived here. not even sobbed once" Donghae said

"She's not mute right?" I asked a bit terrified

Donghae sighed

He got down on his knees and took out a small flashlight

"MinJi.. I need your eyes to follow the light ok?"

MinJi didn't answer

"Just nod if you understand me" Donghae said

I waited for her to respond and so was Donghae. We didn't ask her the same question again but we waited. To our surprise she soon nodded

I smiled happily as Donghae nodded and soon she did as he said. It took her some time since she was very watching us suspiciously but when she found that there was nothing dangerous behind it, she agreed and was letting Donghae examining her..

When Donghae was finished with the examination later on, he smiled at MinJi and gave her thumbs up. She even let him connect the drip when we had been trying to tell her for the past 20 minutes that it wasn't dangerous.

Donghae soon left after explaining that we should give her something to eat in the morning and that she should rest as much as possible. I didn't know what to do but I just sat at the edge of her bed and looked at her..

"You're feeling ok?" I asked

She didn't answer

I stood up and I felt her jerking back a bit just in case she thought I was going to do something. I went inside the bathroom and took out a hair brush and a hair crest to plait her hair.

I walked towards her and sat at the side of the bed and watched her

"Uhm.. Your hair is a mess.. I was thinking we could plait it a bit. Your hair is really long.. and it doesn't look so good at the moment" I smiled

She tilted her head to the side but didn't say much. I smiled

"If you spin around slowly, your back facing me, i will brush your hair for you" I said

She didn't react. I was really getting tired of the silence.. I want her to speak..

I put my hands on her shoulder and I felt her freeze a bit but I smiled, assuring her I won't hurt her
She was letting me spin her around and her back facing me and as soon as I started to brush her hair I felt her shiver a bit

"You're cold?"

She didn't answer..

It then hit me that she might haven't.. brushed her even once before and that this might be the first time.. I decided not to think about it anymore and I slowly brushed through her long hair softly. I felt her body relaxing a bit and her shoulders sank a bit.
I started to hum to a soft lullaby as I was brushing her hair and soon I started to plait her hair, now singing softly instead of humming..

When I was done I put the long plait in the front and I felt her looking at it a bit dazed and then she started to feel it with her hands and then she looked at me

"That is a plait. I'm sorry if it turned out ugly. It's been awhile I plaited a girl's hair"

I smiled embarrassed but there was no reaction from her. I took a deep breath and stood up..

"Well it's late.. Rest ok? Or else you won't be able to get better.." I smiled

I then stood up and waved at her.. and went outside in order to let her sleep..
