A conversation between heart and mind.
"Tell me, mind. Is hate the opposite of love?"
Heart said one night. She couldn't take the pain anymore;she simply has to know. For every second her owner takes a look at the object of her passionate loathing, she swells --- bigger and bigger until she feels like she's about to explode. Afraid that it may happen in reality, she finally had the courage to ask mind --- her rival when it comes to making decisions. She had no choice, and anyway, she just wanted to get her opinion, nothing else. So what does she have to lose? Nothing really, except her pride. But who gives sh1t about that when you feel like you're about to die anyway.
"Hmm," Mind acknowledged her question. "Are you telling me that for the first time since you started beating, you're now confused with what to do about your feelings?"
Heart chose to not answer her question. If she doesn't want to help, fine. Maybe she'd just let her feelings run its course, just like what it used to do.
Mind ignored her silence. Half-mockingly, she continued "Well, contrary to popular beliefs, it's not." Mind felt heart's sudden fast beating, as if becoming suddenly nervous of what she just heard. "Hate is just love turned cold. It's just at the end of the love spectrum. It's still love, no matter what."
Mind found herself laughing silently as she watched heart continue to listen in silence.
"So, simply put, hate is not the opposite of love; it's indifference. Until hate disappears, you wouldn't find the opposite of love. You would just be in a vicious cycle of seeing love turned cold, nothing else."

"Dara! You will not believe what I have just read in the forums a while ago!" Ji Eun, my bestfriend [and a fellow GD anti] interrupted my thoughts.
"Meeeeeeeeh, what?" But of course I already know what baloney those people are saying about him. It's either "GD's so hot" or "GD's so great" or worse, "I wanna marry GD". Give me a break.
Ji Eun sat on my bed before sharing me her newfound info. "He's coming out with a solo album."
Wait a minute. "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?"
Her eyes just got wider. "Yes. It would be probably gay or something."
"I know!"
"Yes we know. But the question is...." Ji Eun tried to pause for added pseudo-excitement. She just likes doing this stuff, which annoys me most of the time because hearing GD's name makes me lose a nerve already.
But stupidly so, I waited for her to continue in bated breath.
"Are going with us to Inki two sundays from now?"
We both smiled evilly. Yes. Too bad for GD, his antis are increasing day by day.
"Count me in."
