Yoobin POV

Why does he care? He was the one who pushed me away. He was the one who found me too clingy. He was the one who things I am beneath him. He was the one who let me go.

Sohee POV

Why did he kiss me? He was the one who hated me. He was the one who finds me a burden. He was the one who felt suffocated with me around. He was the one who stopped loving me.

Seunghyun POV

Why did I hurt her? She was so good to me. I miss her cooking. I miss waking up cuddling her. I miss the scent of her body. I miss her saying ‘I love you’.

Jiyong POV

Why did I break her heart? Why did I say all those words? I miss her aegyo. She used to show it to only me but apparently I am no longer the special person in her heart.

Next Morning

TY: Ji, I hope you have come to your senses today.

TOP: Bae that’s enough He don’t need to listen to all this today.

TY: Seriously hyung, he punched a random guy.

GD: Bae, he started it first.

TY: Ji … there is such a thing call ‘control’ and you definitely lack a lot of it.

GD: Why are you trying to pick a fight with me early this morning?

TY: I’m not trying to pick a fight; I was just stating the truth.

TOP: Bae, come on let it go.

TY: Let what go? I have never let go of something that is important in my life.

TOP: Enough!!! (Seunghyun shouted.) Bae, how long are you going to be mad at us. I knew we screwed up but that doesn’t mean you can penalize us.

TY: Penalize? I have never done that. You felt that way because you guys are guilty. You don’t deserve Yoobin nor does Jiyong deserve Sohee. (Youngbae replied calmly before walking away causing Jiyong to smash the glass on the wall.)

In WG Apartment

YB: Is mandoo awake?

LM: No unnie, I think she is still in shock about Jiyong.

SY: We promised not to mention their name in this house anymore. So let’s not talk about them.

The girls shrugged off not wanting to annoy the leader.

Knock knock…

Yoobin entered Sohee’s room and sat beside her on the bed.

SH: Unnie, why do we still care? They hurt us real bad a few years back.

YB: Honestly I don’t know my dear.

SH: I am not going to give in.

YB: Me too…

A few months later

Wonder Girls just debut in Japan and Big Bang is promoting their 2^ND Full length Japanese album.  There was no doubt these two groups will have to promote together. The greeted politely as they were on a variety programme. To be truthful, WG’s Japanese is much better than BB. Only Seungri and Daesung are very fluent... Whereas in WG, all of them speaks perfect Japanese other than Lim and Sunmi.

As the host were teasing Jiyong, he went along with it not understanding that it was a diss. It made Sohee burst into laughter making everyone gasp. Jiyong could not help but smile as he noticed how cute she is.

SH: Sorry … (She apologized.)

During the show Yoobin had to feed one of Japanese huge star from the band ARASHI, Jun Matsumoto. Jun has expressed his fondness of Yoobin and this in turn made Seunghyun very jealous. All he could afford to do was look down every time Yoobin laughed along with Jun. This did not go unnoticed in Yoobin’s eyes. She knew he was affected but what can she do. They are no longer together. 

Once the recording ended, they returned to the same hotel. It was just slightly after 7 when Sohee and Yoobin decided to explore the place. Lim, Sunmi and Yeeun will be heading to some malls for a little bit of shopping. As for Sun, James’s family will reach Tokyo, so she already headed down to the airport to fetch them.

Yoobin and Sohee are the fashionistas of the group, so they love going to the youth streets market to get some idea. As they were trying some jackets and accessories, they realized that Jiyong was there. They nodded at each other before going on their own ways. Once again when they were at the shoe shop, they bumped into each other again.

GD: Noona…Sohee… we meet again.

YB: Neh, you shopped a lot! (Yoobin remarked politely.)

GD: He he just a little noona. Have you ladies taken your dinner?

YB: Yes we did. Thanks for asking.

GD: Oh I was just about to recommend a great steakhouse which sells awesome steak with melted cheese.

Yoobin turned to Sohee only to see Sohee not giving any .

YB: Its ok Jiyong, I don’t think she is hungry…. (There and then Sohee’s tummy sings the hungry song.)

GD: He he he, its okay if you don’t want to go with me. I’m sure you guys will be okay on your own. Anyway, I shall see you soon.

Jiyong was about to walk away when Yoobin replied…

YB: Sure … lets go for dinner shall we… I don’t want Sohee to faint because I starve her.

SH: Unnie…. (She sulked.)

They walked down the street, stopping by occasionally at the different stalls. In one particular stall…

GD: Sohee how does this look on me?

Sohee ignored him.

GD: I’d take it that the jacket is cool since you are not saying anything.

Jiyong was about to pay when he suddenly smiled because he heard Sohee mumbled…

SH: Err maroon doesn’t look good on you. The blue or pink one is much better.

Jiyong quickly requested for both colours before paying it. He walked towards Sohee and …

GD: Gomawo Sohee ah… (He whispers.)

Yoobin who saw this couldn’t help but smile. She does wonder if this was a mistake. Yoobin saw a couple of distinct tank tops and quickly headed towards that stall. As she was selecting….

GD: Noona, Seunghyun hyung asked me where I was and wanted to join us for dinner. Is it fine with you?

Yoobin was startled but pretended that she didn’t hear him. Sohee pinch Jiyong.

GD: OuCCChhh! That hurts! (He whines like a baby!)

SH: Kwon Jiyong! What are you trying to do???

GD: Wei… what did I do?

SH: You contacted oppa right?

GD: No I did not…

Sohee elbowed him. Although in pain, he loves the fact that she is talking to him.

GD: Yoobin noona, don’t worry, I’ll just tell him that I’ll not be able to meet him for dinner.

YB: Ji, don’t worry. We are all civilized adults. Dinner won’t bring any harm right.

SH: Unnie… Are you for real?

YB: Neh…. Let’s just get to the place shall we?

Once they were in the restaurants, Seunghyun was already there. They got quite a cosy spot. They made their orders and then everything went silent. Seunghyun cleared his throat.

TOP: Anyway the recording just now was hilarious.

SH: Neh, I couldn’t believe Jiyong oppa just smiled when he was being dissed. His Japanese was horrible!

GD: No its not! (He pouts!)

SH: See, I told you, you need to do better!

GD: Hey….

TOP: So Yoobin, did you shopped a lot?

YB: Yup just a little.

TOP: So Sohee, I heard you are the new face of Tommy Hilfiger. That’s awesome news.

SH: Thanks…you know what is even more awesome, Yoobin unnie and Taylor Lautner will be the new face for Gucci! (She spills…earning a glare from Yoobin.)

TOP: Yeah, that guy from the movie. That’s cool to hear. So is it true that you guys are dating?

YB: Me and Taylor?

TOP: Yeah… you and him?

YB: Nah… I got no time for relationship. Busy like a bee.

TOP: Oh…ok…. That is good …err to hear... (He grins like a happy little boy.)

YB: But he is hot… (She chimed in.)

Yoobin response causes Seunghyun to literally choke on his food causing Jiyong and Sohee to break into laughter. Yoobin tried very hard to not find it amusing at all.

TOP: He’s like a little boy… how hot can he get?

YB: Did you even see his body? His packs are super wicked! It’s like perfectly sculpted chocolate.

TOP: I can’t believe I’m listening to this.

Yoobin giggled at his childish side.  She kept reminding herself to stay civil but not too friendly.

GD: So Sohee, the vampire.

SH: Nah, it was a small role. But nonetheless an awesome experience. Heechul oppa was so excited to see me as a vampire.

GD: Heechul… as in Kim Heechul?

SH: Neh, why what’s wrong?

GD: The Heechul who have liked you all this while?

SH: Yes… but why?

GD: You are in contact with him?

SH: Occasionally… we watsapp each other.

GD: You guys aren’t dating right?

SH: Not for now.

GD: What do you mean now??

SH: Excuse me….

GD: Mianhe, I just went overboard.

TOP: Jiyong… tsk tsk tsk the eager beaver.

YB: So how thing on your side, you guys are so popular in the states.

TOP: You do monitor about us?

YB: Well, musically we are your fans….

TOP: How about non musically?

YB: Pabo yah… there is no such thing as non musically…it’s just ‘personally’ … personally we are history.

TOP: Are we? …… Mianhe… I shouldn’t have said that.

SH: Anyway it’s nice to see us growing up and blossoming into mature adults. I’m glad we can remain amicable despite breaking up so long ago. I’m glad we are still friends.

GD: Friends?

SH: Neh. Friends!

GD: Friends exchange number, Skype and meet up for coffee. But we don’t.

SH: Ok the, we are not friends. We are ….

GD: Friends we are. So let’s exchange number.

SH: Errr….

GD: Hyung you too… I’m sure noona and you are friends.

TOP: We do have each other’s number. It’s just that we never really contacted each other since we last met.

They ate their meals in silence except for occasional small talks. Seunghyun and Jiyong in particular ate very slowly. Sohee and Yoobin are starting to get impatient.

YB: Why are you guys eating slowly?

SH: I still want to walk around. Pali!

Actually both the guys just wanted to seat a little bit longer with the girls. Once they were done eating. They headed out from the restaurant and joined back the bustle night streets market. The boys tailing behind them. Sohee then picked out an outfit. It was a very short black mini dress with gold sharp studs along the sweetheart neckline.

YB: That’s chic. It will look good on you.

GD: Isn’t it too short.

Sohee stuck her tongue out at him.

SH: I’m buying this, it’s cool.

GD: How about getting a jacket with it?

TOP: Nah Ji, I think it looks perfectly fine.

SH: See…. Everyone agrees!

GD: Hyung would you let Yoobin noona go out with something so short and y like this.

TOP: What are you saying, she won’t. She doesn’t dress that way.

YB: Excuse me boys... I mean little men, I can dress y anytime now and no one can say NO.

It was back to silent again. The night market street is about to end and the girls were feeling tired.

YB: So this is it now. It’s late and we got to get back to the hotel.

TOP: Let us send you back to the hotel.

SH: Ani, we can just get a cab.

GD: But…

SH: There are no more buts… (Sohee firmly replied staring at Jiyong.)

YB: But Sohee, they are staying at the same hotel as we are.

SH: Ohhhh…

TOP: I would rather we walk back just like how we came to this place.

SH: Oppa, my feet’s are killing me.

GD: Let’s just go back hyung.

Yoobin could sense Seunghyun disappointed look. She knows that he wanted to walk back so that we could spend more time together. In her heart, she does want to spend extra time with Seunghyun but she is a girl, how is she going to voice that. It is highly impossible but she could try …

YB: Why don’t you all go back first; I want to take another look at the night market again.

SH: Unnie, aren’t you tired of walking?

YB: No worries mandoo, you go back to the hotel first with them. I’ll come back shortly after.

In her heart she was hoping for Seunghyun to say something but he didn’t. She kept on smiling because she didn’t want to show how disappointed she was. When the cab arrived, the three of them boarded the taxi. Once the taxi left, she turned around and her tears trickled down her face. She felt that all the feelings she felt a few moments ago were just part of her infatuation. She took a deep breath and walk through the night market like a zombie. It took her about 40 minutes to reach a stop. Towards a junction at the end she decided to take a left towards a park instead of the right which is the hotel. The park though dark looks so peaceful. She decided to take a stroll to clear her mind. As she was lost in her mind, she accidently bumped into a group of youngsters who got offended and decided to push her.

TOP: Ehem, I apologize on behalf of my wife. She was not feeling too good and didn’t mean to bump you.

Yoobin was shocked. The youngsters decided to just let it off. Once the youngsters left, Seunghyun walked towards Yoobin. Still in shocked, she took a step back.

TOP: Wei irei? It’s me Seunghyun!

YB: What are you doing here?

Seunghyun was wondering how he should answer. He scratched his head before answering…

TOP: I followed you all the way back.

YB: But didn’t you left in the cab with Sohee and Jiyong??

TOP: You think I would let you walk back alone?

YB: But you still left me there … (she sulks.)

TOP: Mianhe, it took me about 3 seconds to realize what I fool I was the moment I stepped into the taxi.

Yoobin looked away then started walking again. Seunghyun followed her quietly from the back. Suddenly he bumped into her when she abruptly stop and turn. She looked at him in the face and raised her hands up in the air and sigh in frustrations before she turns and walk away.

Seunghyun couldn’t understand what she is trying to say. A few moments later, he noticed something different. He didn’t hear any sobbing but saw her wiping away her tears. His heart sunk. There were so many unresolved issues between the both of them. They need to thrash it all out but he couldn’t do it. He was afraid if everything was thrashed out, he may not be able to accept the fact if she really decides to end everything. He is not ready for that even though it has been a few years. He decided to take a few steps forward and walked beside her. He slips her hand into hers and they continue walking quietly.

Sohee and Jiyong reached the hotel. They entered the elevator. WG are staying at level 16 and BB is staying at level 11. As the lift approaches 11^th floor and opened, Jiyong grabbed Sohee’s hand and pull her out from the elevator.

SH: Wei, Ji what are you trying to do?

GD: Trust me. Just follow me.

SH: Andwe… what if somebody sees us?

GD: Anni…. They won’t. I need to give you something.

SH: But….

They entered Jiyong’s room which of course is shared with Seunghyun. Sohee entered the room and seats herself on the sofa while Jiyong opens his luggage. He was rummaging through the stuffs when he gasps…

GD: There it is.

He walked up to her and gave it to Sohee. It was a huge waist belt which looks like a butterfly. She took it and was touching every precious stone on it. He still remembered that she is his butterfly. 

SH: Why are you doing this?

GD: Do what?

SH: Why do you get me this?

GD: I just thought you might like it.

SH: I love it, I really do. But I don’t understand why you are doing this sweet gesture. We are only history.

Jiyong was taken aback by her comment. He on the nearest chair, lost for words.

GD: Is there no way we could get back together?

SH: Why would you want us to be back together? You don’t even care when I leave.

GD: I know… I know…I screwed up… But can’t you find it any way in your heart to forgive me?

SH: I forgave you a long time ago, Ji. But getting back together is a no, no.

GD: Why not? Give me 10 good reasons. (He asked of her, feeling desperate.)

SH: 1^st, VIPs would be angry.

GD: Next…

SH: YG / JYP would be angry.

GD: Go on…

SH: WG / BB would be angry.

GD: Continue…

SH: Wonderfuls would be angry.

GD: (He sighs.) Keep on… no more angry people please….

SH: We … We don’t suit each other.

GD: After how many freaking years, you’re telling me that. Fine… Go on…

SH: You have changed and I have changed. It no longer the same.

GD: Yes people changed, what about your feelings? (Jiyong questions her and Sohee looked away.)

SH: We are busy with our own things, so getting back together is ridiculous.

GD: Ridiculous!!!!

SH: 8^th, although I forgave you. I still hate you. 9^th, I could never love you again since you broke the trust and hurt me.

Jiyong was shaken, he could not say anything.

SH: Last of all….. You don’t love me anymore Kwon Jiyong!

Jiyong couldn’t help but shed his tears. Sohee was acting chic and she stood up.

SH: Thank you for the belt, Ji. But this is it. Just this.

Sohee walked towards the door as calm as she could. She managed to open the door without Jiyong stopping her. But as she steps outside, Jiyong asked…

GD: I have not stopped loving you…But do you in anyway have stopped loving me? Be honest so I could move on.

Sohee wasn’t expecting that. She doesn’t want to reply him. Deep in her heart, she doesn’t want him to move on. She keeps on walking towards the lift and pressed the button. For some weird reason, she wanted him to come after her. “Hold on Sohee, don’t cry now. Cry only when you get into the elevator. Two more levels till the elevator is here.” she told herself. Before the elevator arrived, Jiyong ran towards her and gave her a back hug.

GD: Andwe, please try again one more time. Please. Just one more chance. Nomu nomu bogoshipo. (Jiyong cried and sobbed.)

Before Sohee could respond, the elevator opens and Yeeun, Lim and Sunmi dropped their shopping bags when they Sohee and Jiyong.

YN: What are you guys doing? Are you insane? What if somebody sees this? Back to our room now. Both of you.

The ride up was quiet. Jiyong followed in silence. They entered Sohee’s room.

YN: Sit down both of you!

They did. For the first time Jiyong was afraid of Yeeun.

YN: Explain!

GD: I want to get back together with Sohee.

SM: Andwe!

LM: Sunmi, let’s not interfere.

SM: No Lim, I am not letting him hurt her again.

GD: I promise I won’t.

SM: I don’t trust you!!

YN: Quiet!!!(Yeeun turned to Sohee.) Is this what you want for yourself?

SH: I don’t know. I don’t know what I want. I need time.

GD: I’m willing to wait.

So it’s on…

It’s back to another Japanese Music Programme. The girls are bound to meet the boys. Big Bang was up on stage performing the Japanese version of Bad Boy. Once their performance ended, Big Bang joined Wonder Girls with other artist and emcees.

EMC: Bad Boy….. Who have been in love with a bad boy??

None of the artist replied but Sohee was smiling in her own world when the emcees interrupted her thoughts.

EMC: Sohee, you looked very happy. Must be in love huh. Tell us something, have you ever been in love with a bad boy?

SH: Bad boy…. I have. (She replied softly.)

Jiyong looked away feeling disappointed with her answer.

EMC: Really… you must have dumped him?

SH: Dumped? We broke up, but we got back together.

Jiyong looked up and stare at Sohee. SHOCKED!!!!

EMC: This is huge news!!!! Who is the lucky man??? Can we at least have a name?

SH: Name??? He is my nabi, my butterfly. My Wonder Love.

Hearing that made Jiyong smiles. WGs smiles and so does BBs. Both understanding what it meant. Seunghyun was a little jealous. Though he gets to hold hands with Yoobin last night, there wasn’t any form of acknowledgement that they are back together.

The boys decided to drop by the girl’s dressing room. Jiyong brought some mochi for the girls. When the boys entered the room, BB greeted with much enthusiasm. Taeyang walked up to Yoobin and gave her a hug.

TY: Hey babe…

YB: Hey Mr Handsome…

GD: Here are some sweets we got you.

SY: Is it for us or for your butterfly??

GD: It’s for you all… (Jiyong blushed.)

Sohee looked at him chicly. She didn’t smile nor approached him. Jiyong however could not contain his excitement and ran up to her giving a huge hug.

GD: Gomawo nabi… I really love you…..

Finally a reaction from Sohee. She returned the hug before saying …

SH: I love you too my bad boy…. Final chance baby… let’s give it our all.

Yoobin was looking down at the couple. She was smiling and was feeling extremely happy for them. Suddenly Seunghyun’s arm rested on her shoulders. She turned to him. He looked down smiling at her. She returned him the smile. He returns her a kiss on her forehead, then another kiss on her nose and another kiss on her lips.

TOP: I miss you baby…

YB: I miss you too….

With that, these two couple are working hard to build their own love story. Second chances may be what we need to move on in life.
