Maiya could feel the tiny granules lightly prod her feet as she walked. The sea was calm and only a few waves crashed on the shore. She could see Myungsoo inside the water, swimming then just staring at nothing for a few minutes. She wondered what he was thinking about. She dashed at vampire speed at him, stopping in front of the man she now could call 'husband' .

“Maiya! What are you wearing?!” his face betrayed how gobsmacked he truly was, the water barely reaching his upper thighs.

“Me?! You're the one that's shirtless and in swim trunks!” she exclaimed, blushing brightly. She stared at his abs for a few seconds before turning around, swimming into deeper waters. She smiled as she felt her body caressed by the salty sea water she so loved.

“Maiya!!” he screamed as she submerged, despite knowing she would be fine. He was well aware neither of them required breathing, but he was still worried. He swam to her, thinking, subconsciously, about how much he loved saying her name, now that he could.

“Whaaat...?” she said in a sing-song voice as she appeared before him, her hair blown in the soft breeze, looking like a mermaid. He stood transfixed, down to his waist in water thinking she looked divine.

“Maiya? I... was worried” he croaked, his voice a low, husky sound that sent shivers down her spine and heat pooling in her lower belly. He did not recognize his own voice.

“I'm fine” she struggled not to stutter, circling him like a shark would its prey. With each circle she drew closer until she was flush against his back. She felt Myungsoo tense and smiled at her plan working. She then put her hands on his shoulders and pushed herself up, her wet body sliding over his. Her legs wrapped themselves around his waist, in a stance that reminded her of a piggy-back ride. She bent her head and touched her lips to his neck, softy, as if afraid. He clutched her thighs and hissed. She could swear she saw a blush working its way up his nape to his cheeks. She made her way up to his ear, on it and releasing it, then down again, covering his shoulder with kisses.

“What are you doing?” he asked breathless, but not as much as her.

“Kissing my husband” she spoke, delighted it sounded at least half as seductively as she'd hoped. He put her down gently and faced her. He searched her eyes, the deep amber hiding no secrets from his own coal orbs, and saw love and passion in their fiery depths. He smiled, an action so rare that made her return the gesture. She put her arms around his neck again and he lifted her, his hands on her hips, one of her legs entangled with his. He then held her bridal style, walking them back to the beach-lounge, kissing every inch of skin he could reach. H e laid her down as they reached it finally and she trembled from the onslaught of emotion. Myungsoo caressed her cheek and merged their lips. Although they'd kiss before, this one was the only one that reminded them both of the wedding.

“I love you, Myungsoo.” she murmured and let her head fall to the right, allowing him access to her neck.

“Saranghe Maiya.” she moaned as she heard him speak in his mother language, his deep voice reverberating against her sternum. The rest of the world melted around them as they fell apart together.

“Bonie Lee! I thought you hated me!” laughed Sora, cocky, and she couldn't help but think 'God, he's annoying!' what had possessed her to save him from falling from the balcony. Maybe he would've fallen and broken his neck offering her a little peace and quiet until he healed.
