"Mayline you're here..." Kai stood up but I didn't look at him "I ordered you some green tea it's cold today so green tea will keep you warm," he smiled "thanks...I called you out here because I wanted to talk to you..." I could already feel tears welding up "why did you do that...? Why Paisley? Why?" I tried to hold my tears back but I couldn't. So I let one tear fall. "Mayline....I was stupid...when my family had problems I couldn't turn to you..I know your family was in trouble too, so I turned to Paisley and she was there for me...and that's when we started to like each other..." I look up at his eyes I know he really means what he said "why did you break up?" "Because I still love you...I need you Mayline please forgive me please..." His eyes started to water up "Lets go for a walk Kai..." I grabbed my cup of green tea and we started to walk towards the park, but said nothing at all. "Kai I moved because my parents lost their jobs and started to gamble so we needed a new house...after we broke up and I moved from school to school I never fell in love again.....I never made friends I was so hurt from what you did to me...how can I trust you again?" I couldn't hold my tears so I let them go free. Kai looked at me and he walks closer to me and leaned in and gently kiss my lips it was soft and warm "Mayline I promise not to hurt you ever again...I love you so please let me be there for you." I look in his eyes I knew he means it. I nod, Kai smiles and hugs me and kisses me on the lips I smiled and he smiled back.....

"Taemin-ssi I'm back!" I said happily "so how did it go....oh and umma said she wouldn't be back for month or two because her friends and her are going to Japan." He sip his coffee "Taemin-ssi you drink coffee? I thought you only drink banana milk...^^" I laughed "Ya!....why does it matter? Just tell me what happened? Did everything go well?" He looked at me, I sat down beside him and hugged him "y-ya! What are you doing?" I pulled away and saw him blushing *cute* I thought "Kai oppa and I are together again!" I screamed and I danced around the room "so...you forgave him?" He grinned "Yup and he promised he wouldn't hurt me again! I LOVE KAI!!!!!" I screamed.

~1 month later~

"tomorrow is Mayline's birthday what should I get her hyung?" I look at Minho "why are you looking at me? I don't know what you should get for girls ask Key!" I look at Key "well it depends on what kind of girl you know!! tell me more about her" said Key "Well she's nice, caring, pretty, cute, innocent, she's just.....everything good and she's smart!" I pointed out. They burst out laughing "Taemin-ah if you said she's everything good then it wouldn't matter what you get her she'll still like it!" Minho said wiping his tear from laughing "HYUNG SERIOUSLY! I want to give her something special!" I said starting to get a little mad "but Taemin didn't you say Mayline has a boyfriend....what's his name....? KAI right?" Onew said looking at me. "Yah.....so....what's the point here?" I made a confused face "the point is you can't make it too special or bad things will happen!" They all said at the same time "okay okay got it!"

~The next day~

"unnie happy 19th birthday!!! Sorry I couldn't be there for you but I did send you a gift you should get it today!" Jayline said happily "you didn't have to Jayline. How was school there is it cold in Canada?" I smiled "It's great here! I made a lot of friends and I know how to speak English really well to! And how are you and Kai oppa?" I couldn't help but smile when she asked about Kai because we were doing so well "very well!!! Everything is perfect!!" I giggled "Then what about Taemin oppa how is he doing unnie? Is he dating?" "No not that I know...why you still like him?^^" "unnie what are you talking about? I got to go now talk to you next week bye~" "bye". Jayline sent me a egg plushy and it was so cute!!!

~Ding Dong~ "Kai oppa! You're here!" I hugged him "hello birthday girl so you're finally 19 huh...? You grow up so fast!" He ruffles my hair "aish oppa..." I kissed him on the cheek "well anyways here's your present" he hands me a box wrapped in golden paper and pink ribbon "what is it ?" I looked at it curious "open it" he smiled. I gently rip off the wrapper and opened the box it was a necklace. It was a crystal shape of a heart with a golden bow on the top left side and inside the heart it said ~Kai <3~ "oppa this is beautiful I love it!" I jumped on him and gave him a kiss on the lips, he smiled "I'm glad you like it! Let me help you put it on" I turned around he put it on me and smiled "you look beautiful now go get changed so we can go out" "where are we going?" "You'll see" I walked in my room and picked out a light pink strap dress that went down to my knees and wore colour flats with a white bow at the top. I walked out of my room and saw Taemin sitting in front of Kai "oppa I'm ready" they both turned to me and smile "you look beautiful Mayline!" Kai said walking towards me and grabs my waist.

My jaws dropped when Mayline walked out she was beautiful...my heart started to race. Then Kai stood up and walked towards her and grabbed her waist. I felt my hand clutch. "Are you guys going out?" I asked "neh.....Kai oppa is taking me out and Kai the necklace you gave me is beautiful!" her smile grows bigger. I looked at it and got even angrier "well you should get going it's going to be late." I said trying to calm myself "yeah we should get going...it was nice seeing you Taemin hyung." He bowed "I might come home late so don't wait for me!" She smiled sweetly and held on to Kai's hand and pulled him out the door *why did I tell her to do what's right? She said she liked me because I looked like him...so does that mean when she looks at me she thinks of him?* I couldn't help but think about it "I'm going to make you love me Kang Mayline!!" But I need to drink to calm myself...so I called my hyungs and told them I was coming over "hello hyung I'm coming over now!" "Taemin? Why we thought you were with Mayline....oh so you got ditch? she went out with her boyfriend eh?" I can hear them laughing on the other side of the phone "knock it off hyung!" I yelled at Key " okay okay come over!" And we hung up

~at SHINee's dorm~

Once I got there I started to drink like crazy "Taemin-ah you shouldn't be drinking!" I heard Minho say and tried to take the bottle of wine out of my hands "hyung....hmmm I really really like Mayline....but she likes Kai! I hate that name! You know one time she told me that I looked like him...she said I have beautiful eyes JUST LIKE HIM!!" I screamed I felt tears running down my face. I was so mad I just let the tears flow "Taemin-ah it's okay it's not like they're getting married right?" Onew hyung said and they all slapped him "what? It's true" they all gave him a death glare and he didn't say anything else "maybe you should just sleep with her then she'll have to marry you!" Jonghyun suggested "YA! ARE YOU STUPID!?!?!!?" They all yelled at Jonghyun. "Taemin-ah just tell her how you feel she might just feel the same way..." Key said patting my head "I think Key's right Taemin, just tell her how you feel.." I nodded and just kept on drinking.

"Kai I had a good time thank you" I smiled "Mayline I had a good time too...but I had something on my mind all day I just want to say it.." "What is it?" "Why doesn't Taemin hyung like me?" I laughed at him "what's so funny?" He looked confused but cute "Taemin-ssi was like that to me too when we first met but when you become closer he's a really nice guy!" We smiled and continued on walking. When I got home the lights were out "no ones home? You want to come in and sit for a bit Kai?" "No it's getting late you should sleep I'll see you tomorrow" he smiled and leaned in to kiss me and I kissed him back we stood there for what felt like years until we both realized it was getting late and we both pulled away "bye <3" Kai said waving "bye oppa <3" I closed the door and went to my room, I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes. Life was so good right now it was like a dream. I have a perfect boyfriend, my sister and I are still close I'm doing good in school I still work for Taemin, and Taemin doesn't hate me and we're close friends... ~Ding Dong~ *did Taemin not bring his keys?* I ran to the door and opened it "OMO!? Minho oppa? Onew oppa? And Taemin-ssi!?! What happened?" "Can we come in first...for a small guy Taemin is pretty heavy.." Onew complained "oh yes bring him to his room please.." I led them to Taemin's room. They laid him down on the bed and I tucked him in "what happened oppa?" They looked at each other "lets talk in the living room" Minho said and walked out and Onew followed and I did. "So what happened?" I asked again worried "well Taemin came over and started to drink because he was mad and upset.." Onew started "why was he mad and upset?" "Because of you" Minho looked at me "me? What did I do?" I didn't know what was going on "you seriously don't know anything eh?" Onew said with a smirk "Taemin likes you! He liked you from the moment he met you! He would always say Mayline is this Mayline is that...! Can't you tell?" Minho looked angry "I....I.." "Minho calm down you're scaring her!" Onew patted Minho's back and he turned to me "Mayline we know you're dating a guy called Kai we know the whole story but what you told Taemin....was really far!" "What did I tell him?" I looked at them comfused "You don't remember?" Minho asked "what are you guys talking about?" I asked still confused "when you were drunk you came home and told Taemin he looked like Kai and you love Kai and how you have to leave Taemin to forget about Kai...... Those are very hurtful words to say" Onew said in a disbelief voice "I didn't know I said those....I-I didn't mean to say those I really didn't...." My tears weld up "well we told you what you need to know. we got to go now take good care of our Taemin" Onew dragged Minho out the door. *Taemin likes me? How can I let those words come out?* I went to bathroom and got a cloth, I put it in warm water and placed it on Taemin's forehead. "Mayline....don't....Kai!......no..." Taemin mumbled I grabbed his hand and patted it gently "it's okay Taemin I'm right here..." *why am I caring about him? I have Kai oppa! My first and only love......like what Onew said I only liked Taemin because he looked like Kai.....right?* I looked at Taemin and I felt my heart race,*I...don't like him right? He was there in front of me...I mean he was there for me when Jayline left and was there for me when I got hurt and he was there when Kai came back.....* suddenly Taemin squeezed my hand and he woke up, he was sweating.. You can tell he had a nightmare "Taemin-ssi it's okay it was just a dream." He pulled me close and hugged me tightly "I don't want to lose you Mayline please...I beg you don't leave me!" He started to cry "okay I promise I won't leave..." I patted his back to sooth him. Soon we both fell asleep with out knowing. When I woke up I was on Taemin's bed, Taemin had his arms around me and we were holding hands...it felt nice and safe *OH MY EN GOSH! What am I doing here!* I quickly got up and woke up Taemin he opened his eyes and smiled *dang he looks so cute!* "good morning Mayline" he said in a sweet voice "morning Taemin-ssi." I couldn't help but smile back "uhm....I'm going to make breakfast. you should sleep for a bit more you dranked a lot last night.." I stood up but Taemin grabbed my wrist. He pulls me down and hugged me from the back "yesterday was your birthday...and I wanted to give you this.." He reached for his pocket and pulled something out, it was a necklace, it was a piano and on the white key it wrote 태 민<3(Taemin) "I didn't know what to get you...so I asked one of my hyungs to make this last minute....I hope you like it." He put it on for me. I looked at it and it was beautiful...as a kid I always wanted to play the piano but my parents couldn't afford piano lessons. "I like it Taemin thank you..."  He rested his head on my shoulder "I'm gald you like it...also don't call me Taemin-ssi anymore just call me Taemin oppa." I smiled and nodded. I gently pushed his hands away and walked out his room. I went to the bathroom and washed my face *I can't fall for Taemin! I can't fall in love with Taemin!* I took a quick shower. "I need to see Kai!" I said to myself in the mirror, I ran to my room and picked out a outfit. I called Kai.

"hello Kai oppa?"

"Mayline? What's up?"

" let's go on a date.."

"okay where do you want to go? I'll come pick you up in 15 minutes."

"We'll decide where to go later okay? bye"
