CHAPTER VIII

Yesung held the ring tightly in his hands. He stood up and decided to go to the store to tell Kyuhyun everything that he remembered. After he said goodbye to his Grandpa he immediately left the house with the picture and the ring.

When he arrived at the store there were still people so he can’t still talk to Kyuhyun but he told the doll, “Kyuhyun I remember now...” and hugged the doll.

After closing time they decided to put off most of the lights even if they are still there, all of them are in the locker room arranging their things, all of them needed to work overtime. Suddenly they smelled kerosene filling the air and the fire already started. Even though there are smoke detectors and the water sprinklers it wasn’t able to stop the spreading fire.

“Fire!!!” Sungmin shouted. Everyone panicked while Yesung only had the thought of Kyuhyun in his mind.

“Calm down everyone, we must get out of here safely!” Hangeng told the other three.

“Let’s go now!” Donghae shouted grabbing all their stuff. Yesung got his bag, he got the ring and put it in his pocket.

The fire was spreading fast and smokes if filling the store immediately.

They have found the fire escape and run except Yesung who went to the display where Kyuhyun was placed.

“Yesung!! Where are you going?! Let’s get out if here!” Hangeng shouted.

“No I can’t! Kyuhyun!” he ran towards the doll Kyuhyun.

The flames got bigger and bigger, as if it dares them to follow Yesung, their supply of oxygen was cutting off and they can barely see where Yesung was.

Sungmin ushered the two to come out and call for help. While they were at the fire escape Sungmin called the fire station, “Please help us! There is fire here and there is someone stuck inside!”

Yesung was coughing hardly and it got hotter inside but he didn’t stop in finding Kyuhyun, “Kyuhyun! Kyuhyun!!!! Where are you?!” Using his memory of the store layout he was carried by his feet to where Kyuhyun was.

Yesung tried to look around for Kyuhyun but he wasn’t able to see anything, due to extreme hotness he wasn’t able to see a burning material about to fall to him he was so surprised that he couldn’t move. When it fell Yesung was pulled to safety. When he opened his eyes he saw Kyuhyun protecting him with his body, “What are you doing here Yesung?! There is fire! Why did you return?!”

“Stupid! I returned for you!! I care for you and I love you!!!” Yesung shouted even though he had hard time breathing.

Kyuhyun hugged him and helped him stood up, “You’re the stupid one, but thank you... come on let’s get out of here."

They tried to go to the main door but the doorway was already surrounded by fire, Kyuhyun looked around and saw the fire exit. It was also surrounded by fire but not as bad as the main door. Kyuhyun was surprised that Yesung got heavier, “Yesung! Yesung!” Yesung fainted already. Kyuhyun couldn’t help feeling hopeless at that moment, Yesung lost his consciousness and the fire was getting bigger and bigger.

He couldn’t help but think that he was useless, he knew that he has found the one that he would love forever in the identity of Yesung but he couldn’t do anything to save both he and his love. Staying in that position his pants somewhat caught fire that burned his legs but he couldn’t care more after seeing the face paling, feeling the pain due to the flame and hearing the harsh breathing of Yesung, “Why, why can’t I protect the one that I love the most after all this time?” His tears fell, never in his life he cried but when the thought of not having the ability to save and protect the one he loves tears slowly fell from his face to Yesung and then suddenly the ring in Yesung’s pocket emitted a glow of light, a glow of light giving hope and strength to Kyuhyun.

“No... Yesung... I won’t let you die here... No matter what happens, I’ll save and protect you even if it takes my life...”

Kyuhyun smiled at the unconscious Yesung and gave him a kiss in the forehead. He removed his suit and wrapped it around Yesung and carried him. After seeing that Yesung was still breathing and wrapped by the suit properly he ran to the fire not caring if he can get hurt, the only thing in his mind was to save Yesung, strangely a barrier of light surrounded them when crossing the flames. While running out of the fire escape he smiled when he heard somewhat a whisper in his ears, the whisper of the sorceress. When he got outside to a safe place he looked at Yesung and smiled when he saw that his breathing was slowly returning to normal. He carried Yesung as far as he can even if the burns hurt and when they were near the other people Kyuhyun hugged Yesung and returned being a lifeless doll.

When Yesung woke up he was in a stretcher outside Marcus, the fire was now extinguished. Then he remembered that he lost consciousness during the fire and he was with Kyuhyun.

“Kyuhyun! Where is Kyuhyun?!” He stood up and removed the oxygen mask in his face.

The Director, Hangeng, Heechul, Donghae, Sungmin and Leeteuk were surprised of Yesung. “Yesung are you okay?” The people around him asked.

“Yes, I’m fine but Kyuhyun?! Where’s Kyuhyun?!”

All of the people surrounding him looked at the side of the main door where the doll is.

Yesung ran toward Kyuhyun, there he saw that the doll has burns and damages everywhere and its eyes were closed, unlike the usual where he can saw the honey brown eyes of the man. Yesung couldn’t help but cry seeing Kyuhyun’s condition. “Kyuhyun... this is my entire fault... I’m very sorry... I’m very sorry...I’m so stupid... why? Why did you risk your life to save me?”

The ambulance and the fire fighters already left after making sure that everything was fine.

The Director, Hangeng, Donghae, Sungmin and Leeteuk except Heechul came nearer to Yesung who was hugging the doll while crying out loud not caring if the other people thought that he was weird and losing his mind. All of them are trying to calm down Yesung but none of them succeed.

Yesung thought about telling Kyuhyun everything that he wanted to tell him, “Kyuhyun... Up until this day I haven’t told you my feelings right? Since the first day I saw you as a child I couldn’t help but think that you are something else, deep inside something tells me that you are a person. I have my dream because of you... when I was a child I promised myself that I will study and work very hard so the day that I will be the one dressing you will come and when that day came I couldn’t help but think I’m the luckiest person ever. And when you started talking and interacting with me my heart seems to always burst with love..... so forgive me for not telling you earlier that I love you... I love no other than you Kyuhyun.”

Heechul and the other people heard everything that Yesung said, they couldn’t help but feel sad and apologetic to what the man was experiencing. Heechul smiled and come nearer to Yesung, he held his shoulder and said, “True love..”

Yesung looked up at Heechul still crying, “I’ll give you a chance, you can only move normally when you are alone with a person, who finds joy in dressing you up and smiles when he do so, and the way to break the curse is a kiss... from your true love while wearing the thing that binds the two of you.”

“That... that is the...” Yesung said after hearing what Heechul said. He got the ring from his pocket that somehow emits a magical glow and slipped it on Kyuhyun’s fingers.

“Kyuhyun... I love you...” Yesung said before kissing the doll Kyuhyun.

After the kiss a strange light surrounded the doll and then he floated in the air. After a flash of blinding light the doll slowly turned into being a human. All of the burn and damages are all gone. When he is completely a human he opened his eyes and smiled to Yesung, “I love you too... Yesung...”

Yesung’s tears didn’t stop flowing out when he stood up and hugged Kyuhyun who hugged him too.
“Thank you Heechul... no... space star.”

“You’re welcome, we are AB brothers right? I told you before that I am your fairy godmother right?”

“You... you look like the sorceress who casted the spell on me.”

“Well that is my ancestor your highness. I’m sure my ancestor is really happy that you have found your true love and you have received the affection that you wanted.”

“Thank you...”

Yesung took Kyuhyun’s face and said, “Thank you Kyuhyun... for saving me, for waiting for me and for loving me.”

Before Kyuhyun can reply he was kissed by Yesung in the lips. They enjoyed kissing each other, the kiss somewhat signifies that everything will be okay and the undying love between the two of them.

All of the other people were surprised of what happened, they just saw with their eyes that the doll turned into a human.

“Okay guys... We need to remove their memories of what they saw and since I am in a good mood today I will restore the store for you, so the accident of the fire will be forgotten by all the people except us, the existence of the store doll will be forgotten too...” Heechul started chanting some kind of spell and then the store was surrounded by a blinding flash and when it was finished the store returned being normal and all the people with them asked what happened and why they are outside the store.

Heechul just shrugged as he watched Yesung and Kyuhyun kissing, he turned to the confused Hangeng and said, “We should do that too black dragon Geng.”

After Heechul chanted the spell everything returned to normal, except the fact that the store was caught in fire and there was a store doll there that can sell anything that it wears.

It was a busy day at Marcus, Yesung was arranging the items in the shelves, Sungmin was giving the receipts to the costumers, Donghae was assisting the costumers while Hangeng is busily handling the new designer of the store.

“Hey black dragon, what do you think about this design?”

“Well, I think it is great.”

“Of course it will be great! I am the one who designed it!” Heechul shouted. He got the design from Hangeng and whispered, “Hmph! I even designed this for you.”

Even though it was a whisper Hangeng heard it pretty well, “Oh, it is my honor Chul.”

Upon hearing that Heechul threw tantrums to hide the blush in his cheeks, “Did you just called me Chul?! You should call me Heechul the great, my highness, or his Excellency.”

“Okay then, Princess Chul may we go now and submit your great designs?” Hangeng offered his hands to Heechul.

Heechul said something that can’t be understand as he took the hand waiting for him and blushed more.

All of them couldn’t help but think that the two of them are the complete opposite that can complement each other.

And then someone opened the door and made its way to Yesung, “Excuse me, but can I work here as the model?”

Yesung turned around and smiled, “Well what are your qualities that can make you a model of our store?”

A smile is returned, “Well you see I’m tall, charismatic and very handsome.”

“Is that all?” Yesung asked while crossing his arms.

“No that’s not all, let us just say that I used to be a prince.” Kyuhyun put his hands at Yesung’s shoulder.

“A prince? Really?”

“Well I used to be... but now I am a private prince of a person named Yesung whom I love so much.”

“Wow, that Yesung must be really lucky!” Yesung decided to continue playing around with Kyuhyun.

“Well, I know someone luckier than Yesung.”

“Who?”

“Me...”

Kyuhyun kissed Yesung, and Yesung smiled and gratefully returned the kiss that always take his breath away and do wonders to him.

All of the people in the store were looking at them but they don’t mind as long as they have each other.

“Finally, the prince and the rabid dog got their happy ending.” Heechul said as he stopped going up the stairs.

“Every ending starts new chapters right?” Hangeng asked as he went to Heechul’s side, “How about we start our own love story?”

“It already started since the day we saw each other, the day when you fell in love with me,” Heechul looked at Hangeng and smirked.

“I admit that,” Hangeng smiled and placed a chaste kiss on Heechul’s lips. After that he grinned like a fool and said, “I’ll always do that from now own, I hope that the Princess will fall in love with the dragon.” He continued going up leaving a dazed Heechul.

Heechul touched his lips and smiled, “The Princess already did...”
