“No hyung,” Sungyeol shook his head as he felt like the other didn’t get what they meant. “We mean if you like like Jongie.”

“I told you, I do,” Sunggyu said confidently. “Just like how Woohyun likes Hoya.”

“Well,” Myungsoo said. “Gyu-hyung is even more direct than I thought.”

"Are you sure you like him in that way??" Dongwoo asked cause even though they preassumed of this possibility it was still shocking to affirm it's true.

"Yes," Sunggyu said seriously. "Even I'd be sure of my own feelings if he keeps invading my every waking thought and dream... especially my dreams."

"Woah wait!" Sungyeol suiddenly exclaimed. "Too much information! I did not need to know that."

"You asked," Sunggyu shrugged as if what he just said was nothing.

"So," Myungsoo started. "What are you gonna do now?"

"About what?" Sunggyu asked.

"About your feelings for Sungjong," Myungsoo said.

"Nothing," Sunggyu replied although he sounded a bit downhearted.

"What do you mean nothing??" Sungyeol said. "If you really like someone then you should tell them!!"

"That's just it Yeollie," Sunggyu said. "I really like Sungjong which is why I can't tell him about my feelings."

"Why not??" Dongwoo asked completely confused and irritated by his hyung's actions.

"If he rejects me then," Sunggyu paused for a moment as if composing himself. "Then I don't think I can ever face him again, and we can't have that kind of situation in Infinite right?"

The MyungDongYeol trio then looked at each other with worry and sympathy thinking that the leader has fallen to deep for their maknae for any of them to help him.

"Besides," Sunggyu said getting their attention. "I think we're fine the way we are now and Jongie looks really cute whenever he gets frustrated when I ."

"You're an evil hyung," Myungsoo said as he shook his head.

"I'm actually avery kind and loving hyung mind you," Sunggyu said feigning hurt but then turned serious. "Whatever we talked about just now stays between the four of us okay."

"Okay," the three of them agreed with nodding heads albeit a bit unsurely.

"Good," Sunggyu said with a small smile.

To be honest Sunggyu wants to tell Sungjong how he feels, how his heart beats faster when he's around or how he gets ridiculously self concious when the maknae is near or how stupidly cheesy he sounds right now just because he's thinking of him, but when his there at the point where he's about to blurt out his feelings for Sungjong Sunggyu stops and teases him instead for the thought of rejection terrifies him so that even though he wants something more he feels satisfied with their relationship now.

"I'm done with the shower!" Sungjong's voice rang throughout the dorm cutting of Sunggyu's thought train.

"Yah! Lee Sungjong!!" Sunggyu suddenly cried catching the maknae's attention. "What do you think you're doing going around the dorm with just your towel on?!?"

"My clothes got wet in the shower so I had no choice hyung," Sungjong replied. "Unless you want me to walk stark in the dorm?"

"Wha?! Who'd want to see your fat body walking around?!" Sunggyu cried although a bit flustered and, only those close like Dongwoo could see it, his cheeks were a bit pink.

"Don't you dare compare my body with your fatty marshmallow of a tummy!!" Sungjong cried and then turned to his room with a pout mumbling "I may have gaine weight but I'm not that fat."

"You're abit pink hyung," Dongwoo teased when Sungjong was in his shared room to get dressed.

"Shut up," Sunggyu said at his chuckling dongsaengs. "Aish, I'm gonna take a bath, you three better be not the first faces I see when I'm done."

The MyungDongYeol trio then hurriedly got into their own shared room to prepare for bed while Sunggyu entered the bathroom to take a long mind numbing and relaxing warm bath.

Unfortunately though Sunggyu's bath took far too long and by the next day he was bed ridden with a cold.

"39.6 C," Woohyun tsked as he checked the leader's temperature. "They do say only idiots get colds."

"Woohyun don't he's already sick," Hoya scolded his lover.

"But what do we do now?" Dongwoo asked. "We've all got our schedules and practices to fulfill today..."

"I can go," Sunggyu said weakly trying to get up but was pushed back down by the maknae.

"No you can't," Sungjong reprimanded him with a stern look. "You're pale, weak and your voice is really hoarse, you are not going anywhere hyung."

"But-" Sunggyu tried to say but was cut of by the maknae.

"I already called our vocal trainer and said you're sick so she cancelled your lessons today," Sungjong stated with a finality. "And since she's also my only schedule and pratice today meaning I have nothing to do so I might as well take care of you."

"Are you sure Jongie?" Myungsoo asked. "One of us could stay behind and help."

"You guys know very well that you can't cancel your schedules today," Sungjong said with a smile. “Don’t worry about me, I think I’ll have fun taking care of a non-nagging Sunggyu.”

“Are you sure Jongie?” Sungyeol asked worriedly. “I mean, when I get sick I get bossier around the people around me.”

“I don’t think Gyu-hyung has the strength to even move his mouth let alone boss me around,” Sungjong reassured them. “Now go. Of to your schedules, I’ll call you guys if I need help.”

“Ok then,” Woohyun said as they began filing out of their dorm. “You better not have a cold too when we come back Jongie.”

“I won’t,” Sungjong smiled. “And hopefully Sunggyu-hyung won’t have too.”

Once the rest of Infinite were out the door Sungjong immediately went into the bathroom to get a basin filled with cool water and a clean towel before going back to Sunggyu’s side.

“First we need to get your fever down,” Sungjong said as he squeezed of the excess water from the towel before placing it atop Sunggyu’s forehead. “There, you’ll be cooled down in no time.”

“You don’t,” Sunggyu started. “Have to do this.”

“But I want to hyung,” Sungjong smiled. “Just take it as a thanks for always taking care of me, well, of always taking care of us.”

“But,” Sunggyu said. “I tease you.”

“Which is why I’m abusing this opportunity where you don’t tease me to be near you,” Sungjong smiled turning a bit red thanking god that Sunggyu isn’t looking at him.

“I’m sorry,” Sunggyu whispered.

“It’s fine hyung.”

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome,” Sungjong said as he changed the cloth on his head. “Now sleep so you’ll feel better when you wake up.”

“Okay,” Sunggyu said obediently as he closed his eyes. After a few minutes of just laying there with his eyes closed Sunggyu does not feel sleep get to him. “Jongie?”

“Yes hyung?”

“Can’t sleep.”

“Oh? Then here,” Sungjong said as he held Sunggyu’s hand and even though they’ve held hands before Sunggyu feels all tingly and nervous and he’s actually glad he’s sick cause maknae won’t think it’s weird that his hands are getting clammy. “My mom said feeling a person’s warmth will help you sleep better.”

“Thanks Jongie,” Sunggyu smiled while giving a light squeeze to Sungjong’s hand and unlike before as soon as he closed his eyes he instantly fell into a peaceful sleep.

When Sunggyu opened his eyes again he was feeling much better than before and when he tried to get up he instantly felt Sungjong’s hand in his and when he turned to his side he saw Sungjong’s sleeping face next to his and he couldn’t help but smile at his maknae while tugging a stray hair to the back of his ear. This action however caused Sungjong to start waking up.

“Oh hyung,” Sungjong said as he rubbed his eyes with his free hand cutely. “You’re awake.”

“Yup,” Sunggyu smiled then Sungjong placed the back of his hand on the leader’s forehead.

“Your fever seems to have gone down,” Sungjong smiled. “Let me just get the thermometer to be sure.”

He then started to get up but as soon as he did he quickly realized that he was still tightly holding Sunggyu’s hand making him become bright red as he immediately let go.

“I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to,” Sungjong stuttered. “Oh was I holding it the whole time, did I squeeze the life out of your hand hyung? That must have been really uncomfortable.”

“It’s fine Jongie,” Sunggyu laughed a little as he opened and closed his hand to show that he was alright. “And I think the reason why my sleep was so peaceful was because of your warm hand in mine.”

“I better get the thermometer to see if you’re still sick cause you’re starting to sound like Woohyun-hyung,” the maknae said as he turned around making Sunggyu notice how red his ears are. “And that certainly isn’t a good sign.”

“I’m fine now Jongie,” Sunggyu reassured the maknae as his temperature was taken. “Much better than before, although… you’re looking a bit red.”

“I’m fine hyung,” Sungjong mumbled as he checked the leader’s temperature. “36.6 C, thank god your temperature is back to normal, do you want to eat something hyung?”

“I’m not really hungry,” Sunggyu said.

“Than do you need anything else?”

“How about,” Sunggyu started pretending to think it over but he already knows what he wants. “How about you just stay here by my side? Please?”

“I’ve been by your side the whole day hyung,” Sungjong said with a light laugh but nonetheless sat down at his hyung’s bedside.

“But I was asleep the whole day so that doesn’t count,” Sunggyu stated as he sat up to be eye level with the maknae.

“You’re weird when you’re sick hyung,” Sungjong said.

“It’s also cause you’re the one taking care of me,” Sunggyu smiled. “Thank you Jongie.”

“I told you hyung,” Sungjong said. “It’s no big deal since I want to take care of you anyways.”

“Not just for taking care of me,” Sunggyu said as he the maknae’s cheek lovingly. “For everything, you even listened to this selfish demand of mine by staying with me.”

“I told you it’s nothing if I want to,” Sungjong mumbled turning red.

“I really do thank you Jongie.”

“Stop thanking me hyung,” Sungjong pouted and Sunggyu chuckled a little.

“I won’t stop,” Sunggyu stated. “Even though I nag you a lot you still obey my orders, even though I keep teasing you you still greet me with a smile. You don’t know it but you’ve given me such a lot Sungjong and these feelings of mine can’t be expressed with a single thank you.”

“Hyung,” Sungjong started. “I should be the one saying thank you, sure you’re naggy and bossy but you also always have our backs and takes care of us, you do love to tease me a lot but see you spare me some of your share of the meat, which is why I want to take care of you hyung to show you how much I appreciate everything you do for me.”

“Sungjongie,” Sunggyu smiled as he ran a hand through Sungjong’s soft hair and then, as if he’s body was finally possessed by his feelings, he started leaning closer to the maknae’s face who stiffened but made no signs of running away taking this as a good sign Sunggyu got closer until their lips were mere inches apart then-

“We’re back!!” Sungyeol suddenly cried happily as he and the rest of Infinite came bursting through the leader’s bedroom door only to see Sunggyu resting his head on Sungjong’s shoulder.

“Oh h-hyungs,” Sungjong stuttered a little. “You’re back, I didn’t hear you guys come in.”

The rest of Infinite just looked at Sunggyu and Sungjong as if the two of them just grew two head each. Did they just see right? Was the leader about to kiss their maknae?? Boy did they get in at the wrong time. Holy !! Sunggyu must be furious that his chance just got snatched away! Then as if to prove their point Sunggyu got up with an evil aura surrounding him.

 “Lee Sungyeol!!!” Sunggyu cried as he charged towards Sungyeol who instantly ran away. “Come back here you stupid chodding!!!”

“I didn’t mean to hyung!!” Sungyeol cried as he ran away.

“Well we better get ready for dinner,” Woohyun said as he took Hoya by the hand to help him cook.

“I’ll set up the table!” Dongwoo said happily.

“So,” Myungsoo started as he looked at Sungjong. “Gyu-hyung is obviously better.”

“Yup,” Sungjong replied as he watched their leader chase the chodding around their dorm. Myungsoo couldn’t help but notice though that there was something in Sungjong’s face right now as he looks at their leader. Is that… disappointment?

"If he rejects me then," Sunggyu paused for a moment as if composing himself. "Then I don't think I can ever face him again…”

Myungsoo smiles as he ruffles the maknae’s hair making him whine, the visual thinks that Sunggyu doesn’t need to worry about rejection from their maknae cause he thinks it’s quite obvious that the maknae feels the same way he does about him. Maybe he’ll tell Sunggyu later about this realization so that the leader can be more assured and confess already.

“YAH!! Kim Myungsoo!!” Sunggyu suddenly cried as he had Sungyeol in a headlock. “Stop standing there and clean this mess Sungyeol just made.”

Then again Sunggyu could just figure it out on his own as he started picking up the pillows on the floor that Sungyeol and Sunggyu through around in their chase.

It took a few months, more teasing and three more missed chances later until Sunggyu finally got irritated with himself and screamed out his bottled feelings for the maknae on top of a hill by yelling “YAH!! LEE SUNGJONG! I LOVE YOU!” making Sungjong thoroughly embarrassed as random passer bys looked at the two of them and then told him to go up there and accept that brave man’s confession to which he happily did – it’s not like he ever planned not to accept the same feelings he has for the older man he just wished it wasn’t in such an embarrassing way.

and did you guys see L's tweet about Gyu's solo?? THAT IS JONGWAN OF NELL WITH SUNGGYU!!! I will freaking die if Sunggyu's solo song has a somewhat Nell tune to it!! that song will be a complete eargasm!!!!
