Of all the wonders in our world,
Many mysteries have yet unfurled.
But most unknown fantastic and beauteous are
The wonder and valor, a life of a star.

I speak not of a star with pricey shoes and handbags,
Not ones with record deals and movie sale tags.
The real stars are the ones that float in abyss,
For these are the stars that most human eyes miss.

Life starts as a whirling, colorful cloud of dust,
Mixing and spinning, to see this is a must.
And one by one, particles begin to clump
Until it has formed a big glowing lump.

As the large glowing orb grows larger and brighter,
All left over dust, begins to gather tighter.
Small and large planets that formed gather distance,
And a miracle, life, comes into existence.

As the star ages, life exceeds,
Moving, advancing, at incredible speeds.
Soon, so evolved, they leave their home,
To explore other worlds, other stars, to roam.

The star is now alone, to let something begin.
Its large blazing gases are starting to thin.
Its life as a giant, of energy and strength,
It's at its finish, reached the end of its length.

And then it occurs, a sad but true ending.
Folds in on itself, the gasses are blending
They stretch out and grow, as the star dies,
And the star is dust, fields of incredible size.

But not all is lost, because in this dust,
A new star is born, it happens, it must.
For the mystery in this world, of joy and of mourn,
Is that when one dies, another is born.
