Don't Mention It
Masked RomanceChapter 3: Don't Mention It
Youngjae hummed as he lifted his paint brush, dipping it into the deep red color and continued lightly shading in the picture he was painting. Well, more like sketching. He had managed to get Daehyun's number from one of his friends and contacted Daehyun, telling him to meet him at the park 2 hours ago. Daehyun did show up but very happy about it. After 2 hours of being chased, having rocks thrown at him, and being beat up a pissed off Daehyun, Youngjae was finally ableto calm his hyung down. He knew having Daehyun's number irritated Daehyun pretty greatly, already knowing his precense pisses him off in the first place. But Youngjae couldn't get away from Daehyun. He was hooked on the masked beauty. He was in love.
Now, Youngjae was painting a picture of Daehyun, who was sitting on the grass texting someone; completely unaware of what Youngjae was doing. Youngjae smiled softly and looked down at his picture, which was a perfect portrait. He put his brush down and smiled more.
"It's perfect!" He said and gasped when he noticed Daehyun peeking over his shoulder, startling Youngjae. He whirled his head and looked at the curious hyung, who raised an eyebrow. "I, um..." Youngjae stuttered and Daehyun side-glanced him. "I-It's not what you think...I-I just...I-I-I couldn't f-find a-anything else t-to paint--" Before he could continue, Daehyun put his hand to Youngjae's mouth. Youngjae got the clue to shut up and nodded softly. Daehyun then grabbed the brush and dipped it into some black. Youngjae blinked as he watched Daehyun carefully pain on the mask that covered his mouth. Youngjae blinked as Daehyun put the brush down and looked at him.
"O-Oh...Right, sorry." Youngjae said and rubbed the back of his neck. Daehyun's eyes scanned him and Youngjae looked up at him, blinking as he watched Daehyun's eyes soften.
"His eyes...I've never seen them like this before..." He thought and blinked when Daehyun put his hand on Youngjae's shoulder, nodding as he side-glanced his painting.
"Oh, d-do you like it?" Youngjae said, beaming slightly. His heart fluttered as he heard Daehyun chuckle a bit and nod. Youngjae smiled and jumped up to his feet, hugging Daehyun's waist tightly. "Thank you!" Daehyun's eyes widened and he stayed still, his hands slightly gripping Youngjae's sleeves. He slowly relaxed into the hug, liking the feel of Youngjae's warmth and closed his eyes, leaning into him. Youngjae blinked before he smiled, gently pulling his head back and looked at Daehyun. Leaving one arm around Daehyun's waist, he reached up with his other hand slowly. Daehyun opened his eyes and noticed Youngjae reaching for his mask but stayed completely still. He raised his eyes and looked directly into Youngjae's as his hand reached closer. Youngjae could feel the soft black fabric on his finger tips as he gently grabbed the mask. Just as he was about to pull it down, Daehyun turned his head as a group of teenagers caught his attention. Youngjae blinked and frowned when he
