It was a miracle that he has a day off considering how hard it is to get one. After bidding his children goodbye, he stretched his arms and placed an arm on Yoona’s waist.

“You know, the kids left already,” Kyuhyun whispered in Yoona ear.

“I know,” Yoona chuckles and turns around, wrapping her arms around his neck. She leaned and was about to give him a kiss, but she paused to look at Kyuhyun. She does find Kyuhyun’s face amusing. Realizing that he’s waiting, Kyuhyun peeks and sees Yoona smiling at him.

“I was expecting a kiss,” Kyuhyun pouts.

“Okay, maybe one,” Yoona says and quickly gives him a peck.

“Tell you what, for today, let’s forget our duties as parents and let’s be like teenagers once again,” Kyuhyun says. “I’ll just get my clothes and I’ll get ready in the boys’ room. Then I’ll knock on the door like I always used to.”

Yoona’s eyes twinkled and instantly went up. She took a longer time to take a shower. For today, she will turn back into those times when they were young and will date whenever wherever. As she finishes taking a bath, she opens her closet and looks for the perfect outfit. But to her avail, she sees nothing that looks like that will make her look younger. An idea pops in her head and goes to her daughter’s closet. She knows that Krystal likes to keep things organize so she tries not to make anything looks like it’s been touched. She looks at the wide selection of clothing and chooses the sleeveless peach colored dress. She blow dried her hair and borrowed an orange headband before slipping to her own black flats and getting her black bag. She stands in front of their body length mirror and wows at how beautiful she looks in her daughter’s clothes.

Hearing the doorbell of their house ring, she curiously goes down and went to the door. She wonders who the person could be on the door. She peeks at the eyehole and she chuckled upon seeing who it was. She opened the door and was welcomed with the most handsome guy she has ever met in her life.

“What are you…”

“Good morning. Are you ready for our date, Yoona-sshi?” Kyuhyun asks, remembering how he was when he first asked Yoona out on a date.

“Drop the formalities, Kyuhyun oppa,” Yoona says, making them blush.

“Shall we?” Kyuhyun offers his arm and Yoona wraps her arm around his.

Their first stop is at the Super Plate restaurant.

“Good morning!” Ryeowook greeted them.

“Good morning, a table for two please,” Kyuhyun says.

“Of course. I’ll give you the best seats in the house,” Ryeowook says. They look around the empty restaurant and Ryeowook scratches his nape and offers them a seat. “Just call me when you’re ready to order.”

“No need. Just serve us the best dishes you have,” Kyuhyun says and Ryeowook’s eyes sparkle.

“Well, you just sit here and relax!” Ryeowook beams as he enters the kitchen, telling his workers to cook the best meals.

“Yah~ You don’t have to order the best,” Yoona says but Kyuhyun shakes his head.

“The best food for the best wife out there,” Kyuhyun says.

“You’re so sweet. I’m happy that you decided that we go out and spend the day with me instead of with your computer,” Yoona says.

“Because today my day is for you while on the weekend is for gaming,” Kyuhyun says.

“What?” Yoona raises her eyebrow and Kyuhyun shakes his head.

“Food is served!” Ryeowook delivered with a cart their order.

Kyuhyun and Yoona felt their mouths water at the food served to them. Ryeowook wished them to have a good meal. In a few seconds, they begin to devour the fit that looks like for a family. In a span of 20 minutes, they were able to finish everything without any leftovers.

“I’m so full!” Yoona says and rubs her tummy.

“But you’re still the most beautiful out of everyone,” Kyuhyun says, also rubbing his tummy. Yoona lightly punches his arm and Kyuhyun leans in. “Even the iest,” he says with his cheesy words.

“EH!” Yoona says, pushing Kyuhyun who almost fell off his seat.

“Whatever. You’re still the prettiest for me,” Kyuhyun says and asks for the bill, missing the blush on Yoona’s cheek.

“I still have it,” she says and wipes away any hair on her forehead.

“Here’s the bill,” Ryeowook hands him the bill and Kyuhyun’s eyes seem to almost pop out.

“How much is it?” Yoona asks.

“It’s nothing. I’ll pay as always,” Kyuhyun says and puts his credit card in. She can’t know that their bill was 58,000 Won just for the two of them.

“Kyuhyun-ah, can we look at the clothes?” Yoona asked, wiping away the hair on her forehead. Kyuhyun sighs and puts away the hair behind his ear to show to her. Yoona then knows that he was okay with it. She dragged him into the lone clothing shop in SMTown.

“Oh! Hello!” A small girl pops out from a rack of clothes.

“Welcome to Jung’s Designs! I am the owner of this shop, Jessica Jung!” She introduces herself.

“I’m Im Yoona, and this is Cho Kyuhyun,” she stretches out her hand and shakes hands with Jessica.

“As you can see this is the number one clothing shop in SMTown. The store is quite big since it caters to everyone, from children to grandparents, boys and girls, from the simplest undergarment up to the most lavish outfit can be found here,” Jessica shows the wide selection of her outfits.

“You can buy cheap and expensive items here. We also sell off season clothes. The ones usually displayed and hung are the ones on season and a bit more expensive. Even though they can be quite pricey, you are in season,” Jessica explains. Kyuhyun nods, not really understanding and caring.

“Well, I’m just here because she dragged me here,” Kyuhyun says and takes a seat.

“Well, Yoona-sshi, come with me to show you what you may want,” Jessica says and takes Yoona.

Yoona has never seen such a big store and a lot of the items seem to be on her liking. She tried a lot of her style. After almost an hour of trying, she chose a few items and woke up the sleeping Kyuhyun.

“Are you done?” Kyuhyun asks and Yoona raises the clothes she chose.

Kyuhyun takes them to the counter without hesitation. He was then again surprised to see the bill amounting to more than a hundred thousand won. He took his credit card again and used it to pay for the clothes that Yoona bought. He hasn’t bought anything for her in a while so he knew he shouldn’t be frugal. This is Yoona after all. He promised to give her a happy and satisfied life.

“Komawo, oppa,” Yoona said in a cute voice.

Kyuhyun knew that it was all worth it.

“It looks just like you!” Yoona pointed to the puppy displayed on the pet store.  “It has the same curly hair you have!” Yoona continued.

“Stop that,” Kyuhyun pouted and Yoona pinched his cheeks.

“Oh it’s you again!” The two turned their heads to see someone wearing a neon green colored leggings with a black and white sleeveless shirt that was up to his midthigh topped with a jean vest.

“K-key?” Yoona asks.

“Oh you still do remember me. Yoona, right?” Key chuckles and Yoona nods. “Oh hello there! My name is Key. You must be her husband, right?” Key asks Kyuhyun and he nods.

“Kibum-ah!” They turn their heads to see the trudging Jonghyun.

“It’s Key! And I’m sorry I had to make you wait,” Key says, pulling Jonghyun to his side. “Anyway, you remember Yoona, right? This is her husband, Kyuhyun.”

As the two shakes hands, Key pulls Yoona and they begin walking away. They went into their local coffee shop.

“This coffee shop is owned and designed by Youngwoon hyung. The photographs you see are of his best friend, Lee Sungmin,” Key explains as he enters the shop.

They enter the shop and order themselves some drinks and snacks.

“Don’t worry. It’s my treat,” Key says to them. His attention was on Yoona while Jonghyun and Kyuhyun seem to have their own world.

“How do you like it so far? Were you able to meet others?” Key asked.

“Not really. I have only been in a few stores around and I haven’t met others beside Donghae and Hyukjae, our next door neighbors,” Yoona explained.

“You know, this place has friendly. Don’t fret. If your children want to be singers or dancers, there’s an institute for that named ‘The Grace Music Center’. It’s ran by four friends, Dana, Stephanie, Lina and Sunday. If you want to buy a musical instrument, there’s ‘Trax’s instruments’. Have you been to the club here? It’s ran by Jungsu hyung and has Shindong hyung as our own comedian. You should check out other places. When you’re free, contact me so we could be go to the salon some time,” Key says and Yoona just nods. They exchanged numbers, more like, Key forced it.

“Oh, look at the time! I’m late for my massage appointment!” Key says and stands up. “Jonghyun-ah, do you want to come with me and have a massage too?” Key asked and Jonghyun stood up too.

“It was a nice time to be with you. Let’s find each other and battle in Starcraft. Oh, let’s meet some other time too. You can bring your friend and I can bring my friend too. I’m sure he’s happy to meet you. He’s a friendly guy,” Jonghyun says and shakes hands with Kyuhyun.

Leaving the couple, Yoona looks at her watch. “We only have less than two hours before the kids come,” she said.

“Well, let’s go cherish the last few moments then,” Kyuhyun says and pulls Yoona. They walk along the neighborhood, making them like the teenagers they were once back then.

“Kyuhyun! Yoona!” They heard Changmin’s voice and saw that he was quite dressed up.

“Oh, where are you going?” Kyuhyun asked.

“I’m going somewhere,” Changmin says.

“You look good. Is it a girl?” Yoona asks and Changmin shyly chuckles.

“Ey, man, show us this girl that captivated your heart,” Kyuhyun puts his arm around Changmin’s shoulder. Changmin brought them to the place even though it feels uncomfortable.

“So, why are we at the Church?” Kyuhyun asks.

“Please be quiet. I always try my best to look good for her. I always wanted to ask her out, but there’s always a problem,” Changmin says.

“What is it then?” Yoona asks.

“Just wait here,” Changmin says. It didn’t take long before a tall guy with dimples came out.

“Oh, Changmin, hello. I see you have new friends. Hi, I’m Choi Siwon. Masses here are held every Sunday at 8 in the morning, but you are always welcomed to visit. The Lord always welcome everyone,” Siwon says and bids goodbye.

Not long after, two girls came out. The smaller one has eye smiles that could brighten up anyone’s day. The other one is tall and makes Changmin’s heart flutter.

“The tall girl… Sooyoung…. Makes my heart flutter. I don’t know what to do. I want to ask her out on a date but there’s a problem,” Changmin sighs.

“Tiffany-ah, I’ll be taking up cooking lessons!” Sooyoung says.

“Oh! Can I join you too?” Tiffany asked and other nodded.

“Hi… Tiffany-sshi… Sooyoung-sshi…” Changmin greets and they both bowed to him. “I bought you cookies. I hope you like it,” Changmin gives and Sooyoung gladly takes it. She immediately takes a piece and eats one.

Changmin smiles as the two girls walk away. Kyuhyun raises his eyebrow because Changmin is happy with this.

“You’re happy with that?” He asked and Changmin nods.

“How often do you do that?”  Yoona asks.

“Me giving something to them? When I have money. But oftentimes, I just stay at one side and watch them. I don’t know how I can ask Sooyoung out without Tiffany at her side,” Changmin sighs.

“Hey! I know! Weren’t they discussing about taking up cooking lessons? What if I try that and befriend them so I could help you?” Yoona suggested and Changmin thanked her. The guy was just so happy that he just skipped away.

“Are you really serious about the cooking lessons?” Kyuhyun asks.

“Of course I am,” Yoona says and Kyuhyun just chuckles. “Don’t you think I can do it?” Yoona asks and Kyuhyun continues to laugh.

‘I’ll show you. I will make wonderful foods at home and I’ll lure you away from your Starcraft,’ Yoona thinks.

“Anyway, let’s go home now,” Yoona says and walks ahead of Kyuhyun.

“Yoong~” Kyuhyun calls. The moment they got home, Yoona immediately went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.  He can see that he’s mad based on the loud sound of the pots and pans she made.

“Are you still mad?” Kyuhyun says as she tries to remove his arms.

“I’m cooking, Kyu,” Yoona says as she flails her hands all over. She eventually fails and gives up. She turns off the stove and Kyuhyun turned her around. They walked towards the table where Yoona sat on.

“I’m sorry if I said anything wrong, okay? Are you gonna ruin this day? I promised to make this day wonderful,” Kyuhyun says, leaning his forehead on Yoona’s.

“Come on, smile for me,” he says and plants a kiss on his forehead. A small smile crept up Yoona’s face and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“I forgive you. But promise me that you pay the bills on time, okay?” Yoona teases and Kyuhyun chuckles.

The laughter died and they just looked at each other. They just stared into each other eyes. It has been years. A long time before Kyuhyun got Yoona’s heart… and a longer time that they’ve been together before they got married. Despite the many years of being together, each day, they still feel like newlyweds. Even if they live as another person, in the end, they wish that they’d still end up together.

Yoona leans in for a kiss and Kyuhyun responds. Yoona places his legs around Kyuhyun as he pulls her closer to her. They do miss these moments. It’s only a matter of time before—

“EEW! GROSS!” Krystal exclaimed as she dropped her bag. Yoona pushes Kyuhyun away and the two blushes. “I’m going up!” Krystal picks her bag up and goes upstairs. Chanyeol still has his mouth hung open and eyes big in shock.

“Well... uhm… call us when dinner is ready,” Joonmyun picks up Chanyeol and the two scramble away from their parents.

“Is that my dress?!” Krystal comes down again and points at Yoona.

“I—“

“Mom, just put it in the laundry and return it to my closet once it’s washed,” Krystal says and close her eyes as she moved away.

“This is embarrassing,” Kyuhyun says and Yoona covers her face.

“Hey,” Kyuhyun comes to the bed and puts his arm around Yoona who was her back facing him. “Say something.”

“If it isn’t embarrassing enough that our children saw us making out,” Yoona says and turns to him.

“Come on, you’re still hot. I’m still good looking. It’s not wrong for us to do it in our own home,” Kyuhyun reasons out.

“Our children saw us!” Yoona exclaimed.

“It doesn’t matter. Come on, Krystal may not want to be the maknae of the family anymore,” Kyuhyun grinned. Yoona threw a pillow on his face and stuck out her tongue.

“Just sleep, Kyuhyun,” Yoona says and closes her eyes.

“Let me sing you a lullaby,” he says and pulls her to his chest. As much as Yoona wants to complain, she just wanted to sleep, thus, opposed to any moment. Kyuhyun sings a short lullaby until he just hummed. Yoona was glad she didn’t move. Nothing makes a good night’s sleep than hearing Kyuhyun’s voice.

By the morning comes, she’s just happy to see his face first thing in the morning. Cho Kyuhyun never does fail to make her heart flutter.
