“Nana, unni stop crying now..good thing there’s no student around here now.” E-young was patting the back of Nana’s head to comfort her.

“I’m sorry, I just couldn’t stand it anymore.”

“It’s okay I’ll accompany you.”

After the kissed incident in front of the school E-young walked her friend home. The two of them were in Nana’s room and E-young stayed to comfort her friend. Nana sat on her bed while E-young sat next to Nana’s table with a bunch of make ups.

“Looks like you’re parents aren’t here.”

“They’re now in a business trip somewhere in Hong Kong right now. They’ll be back next week.”

“I can see that they’re always busy huh?”

“Yeah, always.”

“Are you feeling okay now unni?”

“I guess,”

“Nana unni, I brought a bibimbap you’re getting thinner you need to eat at least. You will lose your y hot figure.” E-young winked and took the food in her bag.

“Geez, stop complimenting you know that I'm not. I’m fine I’m not hungry E-youngie.”

“Nana unni, that's the truth.. I’m worried at least eat even just a little.” E-young insisted and finally Nana accepted it. Nana ate silently the bibimbap and after she was done eating she thanked the younger girl.

“Unni, I don’t wanna meddle about this, but you look like your suffering because of something. You’re not talking to someone, your avoiding your close friends, and I am the only one you’re not avoiding. You even cried what happened after school.” Nana was silent before she finally opened up to the girl in front of her.

“It’s S-Soo Young,”

“Lizzy unni??” Nana nodded.

“I-I”

“I guess you like her, right?” Nana was shocked at the younger’s answer before she said yes. Nana told her about what happened between Lizzy and her and E-young couldn't believe about her story.

“Unni, you did that? I mean that was really..”

“I know but I couldn’t control myself. She’s making me crazy and now I don’t know why she had done that. I think she sees me as a disgusting gay person.” Nana buried her face on her hand and started crying. E-young sat next to her to comfort her in love unni.

“Don’t worry, we’re the same, but I’m courting Gaeun right now.” Nana looked at E-young with widened teary eyes.

“Really?? Well congratz in advance.” She smiled weakly. E-young brushed away the tears that were falling on her cheeks and smiled.

“Thanks..Unni, I will help you. You said that she responded when you kissed her right?” Nana nodded.

“She might have had feelings for you. She shouldn’t have responded to your kiss if she didn’t have any, ya know.”

“How?” Nana asked with excitement after her friend said that there might be a chance that Lizzy like her too.

“Just call me or text me whenever she’s around you. For example, when she visits your boyfriend at your house or I might as well join you at lunch.” E-young gave her a reassuring smile and hugged Nana.

“I will tell Gaeun in advance so she wouldn’t have to worry when I act lovey dovey around you of course Lizzy unni should be there to make her jealous.”

“Thank you E-youngie I thought I’m gonna be like this in such a long time.”

“Geez, unni you don’t need to waste your time being like this every time let’s make our move. We only need to wait to get the good timing though, but this is the only way to confirm her feelings.” Nana thanked E-young and the younger stayed for a little before she went home.

During Nana and Lizzy’s Korean Literature class their teacher told them that they would have a novel study; after reading a certain novel they needed to present in class in partners. All of the students in Nana’s class have partners except for Nana and Lizzy. One of them didn’t dare to approach each other.

“Okay class come in front and tell me who your partner is.” All of the students came in front and the teacher checked all the students who got partners. Nana wanted to ask Lizzy but she didn’t have courage to approach her. They only sat on their seats until the teacher asked them.

“Jin ah and Soo Young? Are you going to be partners? All the people in this class have one except for you two.” The students in the class looked at them waiting for them to answer. Some other students started whispering.

‘What happened between those two? They’ve been avoiding each other for like months now.’

‘I don’t know I wonder that too.’ Lizzy hated when people talked about her and she was expecting Nana would answer the teacher, but she kept silent. So she decided to speak up first.

“Miss Yang, can I do it by myself?” Lizzy asked.

“No, when I said it’s a partner project then that won’t change whether you like it or not I’ll put you in the same group.” Lizzy wanted to protest but her teacher put their names in the list.

“I will give you two weeks to prepare. It’s just a short novel that wouldn’t be a hard if you have partners. Your final exams will be on the last week of January so we’re in a rush here. Chop! chop! Now choose any novel that I will be handing in to you. Then go to your partners.” After they received the list of novels to choose from Lizzy decided to sit next to Nana. She hadn’t talk to her for like months and she wanted Nana to forget her feelings towards her. Nana felt so nervous when Lizzy sat next to her as usual Nana was showing her poker face.

“Which novel?” They asked in unison. Nana sighed.

“You?” Nana asked.

“How bout I Have a Right to Destroy Myself by Kim Young ha?”

“Sure, I have read the summary of that book before it’s fine, I guess?”

“Okay,” Then the bell rang and Lizzy stood up quickly. Nana was sad because she felt Lizzy was acting cold in their short conversation.

The next day Nana went to school library to borrow the book, but someone already borrowed it and so she decided to borrow one in the city centre. She got home a little bit late because the bus didn't come in time. Before she was about to open the door. She heard in the living room. She didn’t need to use her key because she knew her oppa was there. So she opened the door slowly and she saw Lizzy was sitting on her brother’s lap while making out.

“Lizzy, as always you’re still a great kisser.” Doojoon said in between their kissed. Lizzy only chuckled. The feelings she had felt yesterday came back again. She felt slamming the door and she did so. The two love birds looked at the door.

“Sorry, to interrupt you I’m tired.” She glared the two with her icy glare.

“It’s ok Jin.” Lizzy said with a smile on her face. Nana only ignored Lizzy and she asked her brother.

“Don’t you have school in the evening? Oppa?” As she cocked one of her eyebrows.

“No, but I’ll be back at the campus later.”

“K,” And Nana went upstairs hastily.

“What’s wrong with the two of you? Did you have a fight?” Doojoon asked.

“Oppa, of course not we’re totally fine maybe she’s having a bad day, ya know. Let’s continue where we left off.” After answering her boyfriend’s question she crushed her lips before he could ask again. She jumped on her bed with tears falling on her cheeks. She was hesitating to call E-young at first and after a few minutes of hesitation. She called E-young.

“Hello? Nana unni what’s up?”

“Can you come here now?”

“Sure, wait! Is she there right now?”

“Y-yes?”

“Okay, I’ll be there in less than ten minutes.” After that E-young hung up. In less than ten minutes E-young was in front of the door and she pushed the doorbell. She wasn’t expecting that Lizzy was the one who would open the door.

“Annyeong.” E-young bowed

“Annyeong?” Lizzy did the same.

“Nana unni is here?” E-young asked coldly. Her boyfriend went to the door to check the unexpected visitor.

“Yes, she’s in her room now, come in.” He opened the door widely to let the visitor in.

“Wait! You must be Noh Lee Young? The musical genius in our school.” Lizzy asked.

“Ahm, yeah, but I’m not a genius at all.”

“Btw, I’m P-” Before Lizzy could continue E-young cut her off.

“Park Soo Young, right? Nana unni’s best friend?” E-young smiled and Lizzy took a while before she nodded. Doojoon in the meantime looked at her girlfriend with a confused look.

“No need to Nana told me about you before. She needs help on her music homework so I’m here to help her. Nice to meet you Soo Young ssi.” E-young excused herself and went upstairs to meet Nana. She knocked on the door.

“Come in,”

“Nana, unni I’m here.”

“I’m glad, you came E-youngie.” E-young winked and Nana smirked. She sat on the bed and hugged her knees while crying. E-young closed the door and sat next to her.

“Nana unni, I don’t want to see the beautiful Ice Princess here crying. Don’t tell me she’s being a jerk this time. I will punch her in the face right now.” E-young was about to open the door but Nana stopped her then shook her head.

“It’s ok, I just need you now.”

“What happened?”

In the living room Doojoon went for a while to buy some snacks outside. So Lizzy was left in the living room she decided to talk about their project. Although she didn’t like the idea to approach her now, but their presentation only had two weeks to do it.

“Jin?” Lizzy called in front of her room, but no one was answering when E-young and Nana heard Lizzy calling on the other side.

“This is our chance Nana unni, kiss me.” She muttered.

“Jin ah?” For the second time no one was still answering. She decided to open the door.

“What?” When E-young heard the door opened; she quickly pressed her lips to Nana’s soft ones.
