In a rusty and poorly guarded building, undeservingly called a prison, several people going missing was normal--no, it was expected. Those prisoners either found a way to escape or were killed by other prisoners or vengeful outsiders. However, a disappearance of nearly 80 prisoners in one day, that was news.

All the suspicions were directed towards Man Company, the organization that ran the nameless prison, but nothing could be done without concrete evidence. Even if some form of tangent or hypothetical proof was offered to the public, nothing would have been done. Man Company was one of the most influential powers, and there was not a single active law in Regnad that could hardly do any good.

Simply put, in Regnad, Man Company could do anything.

Nevertheless, Man Company had no idea about the whereabouts of the missing prisoners. After thorough investigation and manipulation, the organization found the possible source of the whole incident: a plain elderly man who lived in the Fin area.

He refused to tell the interrogators of Man Company how and why he had taken the prisoners, but a clue to it all showed itself in the form of a young boy recognized as a convict from the nameless prison.

January 5, 2015--the strange pale boy with red bloodshot eyes dragged his limp body through the main entrance gate of Regnad... and that's when chaos ensued.

"Come here, child." An adult pulled a wandering boy from the stranger's path. "Don't go near him. The way he's walking, he's probably from the North, one of them druggies."

The young runt, with his flaring red eyes, turned sharply towards the adult who spoke but after a while, continued down the silent dirt road towards the North.
