Safe & Sound
Description
War.
Trapped in a city invaded by enemy soldiers, Kris and Luhan are forced to stay in their apartment day after day. Any retaliation will result in execution. Even to walk the streets is prohibited. The city is silent and lonely, it's been 4 months since the invasion and no one has come to help. There is no electricity, the only thing that still works is running water. Inevitably it burns down to two options: Fight back, or stay inside and pray. Quick death by gun, or slow death by starvation.
Kris and Luhan wait. They take comfort in each other's company, but it won't be long now. Their supplies dwindle by the day and their bodies grow weaker.
Will rescue come in time?
Or...
Until death do us part?
Foreword
A/N: Okay, so! This will be my first fic I'll post up here, it's still in progress so here's hoping I don't get too busy to finish it OTL I was thinking of originally making it a oneshot, but I found a spot that I can cut to make it multi-chaptered (That, and I have no idea how long it'll be at the time of its completion ^^;).
This will be a mostly sad fic, although I hope to make Kris and Luhan's relationship on the sweet side of things even amongst ruin.
The idea for this fic came into my mind as I was listening to this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFEDTtKaFzU Hence the title, and I may or may not make reference to a few of the lyrics sometime within the story though I'm still unsure.
With that, I think that's all I have to say for now~ First chapter should be up within the week *Crosses fingers*
