NINETEENTH BIRTHDAY
I pulled over and the maids of the Kwon household greeted me,
"Saenggil chukahamnida" they all smiled as they bowed in respect.
I smiled cheerfully, "Kamsahamnida" I bowed back which startled them a bit.
I always wonder why people get startled when I bow back.
Maybe they're not expecting a child of a billionare thanking them.
Oh well.
I got this from my girlfriend.
She has always been polite and respectful to everyone which she in return also gained respect.
She's a friend of everyone.
I went to the room of Ji Yong and I saw Se7en, Teddy, Seung Hyun, Kush, Seung Ri, and Dae Sung.
They were busy fixing themselves.
It became a habit of ours that when one of us will celebrate his birthday, we will go to his house and give the gifts beforehand before anyone does.
Some form of weird bonding we have.
"Hey!! The bboy is here!!" Teddy shouted and in a moment they were around me slapping my back saying "You're getting older every year but your height never increased"
"YA! It's my birthday today!! Don't remind me of my height. Makes me sad."
We all laughed.
We stopped when someone knocked and a gorgeous maid went in.
She placed our food on the table and winked at me before going out.
"WHOA!!!" They cheered, "looks like a y girl is liking the bboy" they said.
I rolled my eyes.
If I'm single, I could have winked back to that maid.
But I have 'Dik Ya' already.
Have I mentioned how she looks like?
When we were young, she's not as pretty as other girls.
She's even chubby and had a short hair.
But as we grow, she just changed.
She grew a long dark hair.
She has chinky eyes that disappear when she smiles.
Whenever she smiles, her dimples will show off and her gums are become visible.
She's very simple but in a fashionable way.
She dislike complaining.
She's very talented.
She does her best in everything she do.
She's very smart and received a lot of awards but she never brag about it.
She's very respectful.
She always has a smile plastered on her face.
She laughs at her mistake instead of being depressed about it.
She's a trust worthy friend.
She likes watching korean dramas, reading manga and fictional stories, listening to music, doing sports which only few knows.
These are just some of her traits that I'm quite sure the maid awhile ago doesn't have.
"someone's lovesick~~" I saw the boys beaming at me.
I pushed them lightly.
"Don't worry hyung, she's already here in Korea" SeunRi said patting my back.
I quickly looked at him, "'Dik Ya' texted you?"
He nodded, "Noona did not text you?"
I shook my head.
Strange...
"Anyway!! We better show you our our gifts before you get too emotional"
I gave SeungHyun a look. Dae Sung and the others just laughed.
"No peeking!!"
"alright alright no need to shout" I chuckled.
We look like kids.
I wonder how their gifts could be so childish.
"Open your eyes"
I did.
There were six luxury cars and a COOL big bike facing me.
They were standing at each car and grinning at me.
Okay.
So I envy them.
I'm their friend!!
How could they brag about their cars infront of me when they know I collect luxury cars.
Plus, I envy them because those were the exact cars I'm planning to buy this year.
Now I can't buy them.
I don't want to be driving cars that are the same with others.
I frustratedly sighed.
"Ya! Why are you sighing there?" Kush asked. He looks like a girl in game shows showing the grand prize with a y pose. He was standing beside a Bentley which cost $150,000.
Ji Yong did not wore a y pose.
He was leaning infront of the Lamborghini which cost $175,000.
So much for the bragging bestfriend.
"Maybe he's speechless about our gifts?" Ji Yong asked looking over at the boys.
"Yeah. Maybe" Dae sung replied as he was checking out his face on the side mirror of the land rover.
"Is hyung alright? He looks like he's about to pass out" SeungRi went down the big bike that he was playing.
Se7en and Teddy left the Rolls-Royce and F.Enzo and approached me but too late.
The last thing I heard was their voices.
"Oops. Looks like he's so shocked?" Ji Yong said.

I'm so happy Kyon Min is not late on my nineteenth birthday.
"Do you really have to hold my hand?" KyonMin asked innocently.
"Yep. You might go somewhere else again"
She smiled.
Everywhere I go, I bring her with me.
Proud boyfriend eh.
I want to be beside her the whole day.
I want her to feel that she's the only person I want to be with.
As the party is just beginning to heat up she dragged me out as she usually does every year.
We went to out hotel's private movie house.
She pointed on the screen and there was a commercial playing.
It was a famous brand: Etude
I've never seen this before.
I wonder why she's making me watch it until she appeared on the screen,
"Omo!" I said
She laughed.
The commercial was a short movie cut in parts.
She was the protagonist.
"do I look stupid?" she asked while we were watching
"sizzling hot" I said not taking my eyes off the screen.
I'm to preoccupied by it.
The movie was about a girl pursuing her dreams.
There were lots of parts that she was dancing and singing at a dance studio and she looked like she's a cast in step up.
She won a contest because she's so good and because of the product that she's using made her so beautiful.
At the last part she said "don't reach for your dreams. Run after them!" she said it so cutely and she raised her closed fist and made the "fighting~" sign.
The end.
I looked at her amazed.
"Gift for this year is my first ever movie commercial!! You're the first one who watched it beside the people behind this commercial!!!"
I have not yet spoken when she dragged me again outside the parking lot.
"Should we go have a short drive?" she asked
"Uh...KyonMin, I don't have my car with me" I said apologizingly.
Why did I left my car in the house?! Wrong timing.
"It's okay. Let's use..." she scanned her eyes like she's picking a car, "that"
She pointed at a luxury car quietly parked in the middle.
It made the cars beside it look like trash.
"No no no. Are you crazy?" I tried to stop her as she approached the car.
"Why are you so nervous?" she laughed.
"We're stealing!!"
She chuckled, "Your father owns this hotel. You could get the CCTV copy and crush it into pieces so that we won't get caught."
Is this my girlfriend I'm talking to?!
"Can we just watch your five star rating commercial back there?"
I don't want to to be in jail at the age if nineteen.
"Oooh..my boyfriend being a coward."
"Okay. First of all, I'm not. Second, stealing is bad. Third, it's a luxury car that you're planning to use."
Kyon Min just ignored me and went to open the car.
I smiled in relief. It's locked.
"Do you think we could smash the windows with that rock?" she pointed somewhere and I did not even look.
I am so shocked right now.
"Are you taking drugs?"
"No"
"?"
"Ofcourse not." she laughed at me like I'm the weird one.
"Let's see..." she placed my hands in my back pocket.
I tried to push her, "don't move!" she said
"What do you think you're doing?" I interrogated her.
"I'm trying to find the key" she said nonchantly.
"Key? What key? You think I stole the key of that car and it's on my p--"
"Here it is" she raised the key in the air ignoring me.
"W-what..? Why is it in my pocket??" I panicked.
She was still raisng the key on the air and I noticed the key chain attached to it with a "Dong Young Bae" on it.
"Surprise...?" she said
"You got me a car?!"
"Ani ani. Just a truck" she said sarcastically.
I stood frozen, "hey, you stole money?? Return this! Return this!" I panickly said.
We're just nineteen. No way she could buy a luxury car.
I heard her laughing.
"Relax Bae. Have you forgotten I'm a commercial model now? And I've been working on my mom's boutique? And I just signed a one year contract with Vogue Korea after my contract expired in Marie Claire?"
I sighed in relief.
See? She's in love with working.
"But still..."
"C'mon! Just accept it! I had a hard time finding the right car for you. Can you just appreciate it?" she pouted and I took the chance to kiss her.
"thanks for your first commercial and for your first bought luxury car" I hugged her so tight.
I'm mentioning it again, I love her so much!

"I told you we should not have given him six cars and a big bike as a birthday gift"
"Is he dead?" SeungRi asked.

"NO!" They all shouted at SeungRi.
I slowly opened my eyes.
"Finally!!" Ji Yong sighed.
"Hyung!! You've been passed out for a day!!" Seung Ri said with a sad voice.
"Your birthday is finished already" se7en butted in.
"Sorry. Because of us, you passed out and did not have a chance to celebrate your birthday" Kush shook his head sadly.
"Shut up" I said throwing the pillows to them.
They moved away and laughed.
"We always fail on making a joke on him" SeungHyun disappointingly said.
It's my turn to laugh.
"Yeah. Work on your acting skills more" I smirked then I suddenly remembered about their gifts.
"Oh, guys, are you sure about your gifts? I'm sure it cost you so much..."
"Yeah," they all said in unison pretending to look so sad while hugging each other, "we're poorer than a rat now. If you want, you could give the cars and the big bike back"
"thank you for the gifts. I liked it so much!" I quickly said.
They all laughed.
"Glad you liked it!!" Teddy jumped.
So weird of him.
"Uh guys..." Dae Sung said, "we should get going now.
We don't want birthday boy be late in his own party."
Picking...is so hard.
Se7en, Teddy, Kush, Ji Yong, Seung Ri, SeungHyung and Dae Sung eyed me as they waited to chose what car I'll use to go to the hotel where I always celebrate my birthday.
"Uh..." I muttered
"Yes?" they beamed at me more as they waited.
If I chose one, I'm sure the others will razor my hair, or make me eat chili peppers, or burn me caps to ashes...
"Uh... I guess I'll use..."
"What? What car?"
"I'll use the car that Kyon Min gave me on my nineteenth birthday" I finally blurted out.
It's the car I used going here at Ji Yong's.
They all made frustrated sighs which is much more okay to me than having my caps burn to ashes just because their car wasn't chosen.
And so, we went to our respective cars and drive to the hotel.
